The Emerald Hotel - Bangkok

The room is nice and cozy. Hotel location in regards to not too closed to the tourist places, while the site has everything I needed, closed to MRT, restaurants & place to go around at nights.

Hotel is a little old.

rooms are of the originally equipped more than 20 years ago, not been up dated to meet the need of guest.

The room was clean, but basically the same as 20 years ago, room may have been renovated but the power point and bath room feature were not up dated to meet the usage requirement.Little choice for breakfast.

No power point near the bed side table.No standard face towel in bath room, just the small square towel usually for hand cleaning.No hanger by the wash basin for face towel.Only 2 free cloth hanger in the closet

This hotel is a smelly old shabby hole in need of renovation. The only plus is the location, but if you don't need it, then look elsewhere.

The room was big and there is a pool. It is a conventional chain hotel.

It is a bit far from the main tourist center. The interiors are a bit old and the staff seems to be in an angry mood. Also, the control panel for the lights should be better located.

No staff spoke good English. No help with anything to do with tourism not suitable for English speaking people

Location. Just 2 minutes walk to train station. And 2-3 station to popular malls, pubs. Hotel nearby also has plenty of eateries within short walking distance.

Central aircon. Very cold and cannot adjust up the temperature.

They did not disappoint me with a walk in shower for my elderly father, and the bathroom was spacious.the spread and the taste of the international weekend buffet was very good.Hotel staff from reception, concierge to restaurant staff are ALWAYS very patient, pleasant and serving with a SMILE!

No near enough mall for elderly people to leisurely walk to. However, 7 eleven is just next to the hotel with lots to enjoy.if walking is no issue, a great mall with Foodland, lots of eateries, nice and inexpensive fashion is just a 500m stroll away along the main motorway. MRT is also not too far to walk to, Huai Khwang station.No iron and ironing board in the room.

It's near a train station

There's no bidet, there's a bit of smell at the hallway, the toilets not well maintained and the locations far very hard to get taxi or bolt services.

The breakfast was reasonable good with the room rate I paid. The location is good enough where it is accessible to the places I want to go by train and taxi. It is good also near to convenience store.

The power sockets should be upgraded for multi adaptable plugs, Gym room should be renovated
