The Quarter Phromphong by UHG - Close to The Em District, Emporium, EmQuartier, Emsphere, Terminal21

The location is really good, a trendy little neighborhood with a nice little bakery right across the street, not right on Sukhumvit but there is always a lot of traffic in front of this hotel, seemed nonstop. Didn't hear any of it on the 4th floor. However, you might hear your neighbors. The rooms are small and there are a lof of them on each floor. Gets quiet by 11:00 PM though. Nice bed, nice bath. I liked the pool, not a lot of loungers but it was not too crowded. Small fitness center.

I liked pretty much eveything, the hotel was somewhat like a cube farm, lots of small rooms, and my one complaint would be the breakfast. It was inexpensive, so I'm not complaining much, but the eggs, ham, and hash browns were all cold when I put them on my plate. For the price I did not expect much, so no big deal.

Overall we had a great stay! The hotel is nice and clean, and the room was comfortable, although our bed was fairly hard (we prefer a softer mattress) and the walls are thin, so bring earplugs. All the staff are very attentive and kind, the rooftop pool is lovely, and the breakfast is good with a wide variety of selections and includes one order (per person) of freshly made eggs cooked to preference. If you plan to enjoy the hotel breakfast, I would recommend paying a little extra to have it included with your booking, as it is likely cheaper than buying it each morning. Lastly, the location is great, there is a 7-11 right around the corner and it is only a 10 min walk to Sukhumvit road with tons of restaurants and spas along the way. It is also close to both the BTS and MRT, so you are easily connected to other Bangkok areas and tourist attractions; it is a bit of a trek to the transit stations, but the hotel does offer a shuttle during select hours.

We had one small issue when we first arrived - after travelling for almost 35 hours to get here, we were of course exhausted so we tried to arrange a pick up by the hotel shuttle from the MRT station, which we were told would be no problem. We were asked to let them know by message, email or phone call when we arrived at the pick up location. When we did not get a quick response on here, we tried to call the hotel directly, and after having the phone passed between a couple different employees we were hung up on, so we ended up having to walk. Not a huge deal, but after being awake for almost 48 hours, having to walk the extra distance with our two very heavy backpacks in the mid afternoon heat was disappointing to say the least. Aside from that, we have had zero issues with the staff, everyone has been very accommodating and helpful. Our travel plans changed a bit so we ended up booking for an extra night which they made a quick and easy process, we got to keep the same room and they even arranged a taxi for us to the airport after our stay.

Friendly staff and the location is good. The swimming pool and gym were nice to have. The a/c is cold enough.

Sometimes I smelled smoke in the hallway.

Rooms are high quality with an excellent Breakfast. Options locally for food and drinks.

It is a fair walk to transport links

I generally enjoyed my stay at the hotel in The Quarter Phromphong by UHG. The location is great, with easy walking access to both the BTS and MRT. I also appreciated having a comfortable space to relax before check-in and after check-out.

The only drawbacks were that the balcony was not open, and the view from my room was not as expected.

Good location easy and convenient to get to places. Nice staff very helpful.

There were bed bugs. The air conditioning setting was not really working. It was very cold when it was on despite the temperature setting. Turning it off was the only option to not be too cold in the room.

It was really clean. The facilities were really nice and I had a nice day. The staff were friendly and helped with everything.

Everything including the staff was wonderful Except for the balcony is so small you can only stand on it!!! all of the balconies that open are facing a building with absolutely NO VIEW!!!The ones with a view you cannot open the door to go out on them. Location excellent breakfast best ever!!! A wonderful hotel highly recommend!! Lovette D

Balcony no view too small to sit on

The staff were nice and friendly whenever approached, and the check-in was very easy. My room was quite nice and big, clean, and the bed was very comfy. The swimming pool and the view from the rooftop was really nice, and the gym was pretty well equipped (and there was also a lovely view of the city from there as well). There was a big variety of food for breakfast, including fresh fruit, which I enjoyed. There is a few restaurants around the hotel, and there's also a 7-eleven just around the corner.

The balcony was super tiny, and even though I was on the 5th floor - I had no view of anything except the wall of the building next to mine, which was almost at a hands reach.

Rooms are new very nice . Everything always working . Breakfast good always on time

Takes a little time to walk to Sukumvit

Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, shower worked perfectly, pool was a great touch on the rooftop.Would go back there.

I used the gym twice but the air conditioning did not work so was way too hot especially being on the top floor.

The room was spacious, clean and with all basic amenities. There was a gym, sauna and pool available at the hotel.The staff was very professional and friendly

Gym equipment felt outdated

Location was good, had family adjoining room, kitchenette, very kind and helpful staff.

The drains in the showers were very slow which led to pooling and overflow of water when showering.

Good location, free shuttle to MRT-BTS station, helpful stuff and good facilities

It as very modern and clean. The staff was exceptional and very friendly. The breakfast was also delicious.

The door alarm was disturbing when not closed properly. The pool is quite small and the breakfast selection was only average.

No soundproofing between rooms. Conversation s are heard from adjacent rooms. Even though I was in the top floor, occasional tapping noises came from ceiling.

Well located

I stayed three nights in a Deluxe room at this 4-star hotel. While the rate was reasonable, the experience was fairly average. The room didn’t feel particularly “deluxe,” and nothing stood out in terms of comfort or amenities. Reception staff were friendly, though seemed a bit disorganized at times. On the plus side, the hotel is in a great neighborhood — very well located. Overall, it’s okay for the price, but if you can spend a bit more, it might be worth looking elsewhere.

The staff were very welcoming, excellent and pleasant service. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We were upgraded to a better room for free. They offer luggage storage and even let us shower after checkout in the spa facilities. There’s also a shuttle that runs several times a day to central stations.
