The Davis Bangkok

my villa was kept clean every day ,Loved the fruit being brought personally over to our villa .Loved them personally visited with us one hour after we checked in to confirm that every thing with our villa was in place for our stay .

Decor

They have a night club in the lobby which makes so much noise that you can hear it on the 4th floor and it goes late at night. It appears they don?t care about hotel guests, only the night club which is asinine as the lobby is small.

The rooms are very spacious and adequately furnished. The bathrooms are large and include bath tubs. Hotel location is near restaurants, shops, and 1km walk from large shopping mall and sky train.

The service can be improved

Forgot expensive item in room, got no help from the hotel staff and it just disappeared.

Location was nice.

No hot water in shower, construction was going on all night even at 2am at the hotel.

The rooftop pool

A spa employee asked my travel companion if he wanted a happy during his massage. It made him very uncomfortable and surprised him that a nicer hotel would offer that.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom executive suites. Everything at this hotel exceeded my expectations. From the friendly staff to the beautiful and clean rooms. The pool area was clean and has steam rooms and jacuzzis.

Great room for the price.

The staff did not seem overly helpful when I had questions. The hotel claims to have airport shuttle service but when I tried to contact them about this in advance of my arrival I couldn't get a reply.

The rooms were spacious and had nice views and a nice layout.

There was a black ring of dirt around the tub release knob. The AC was set on 18c and it never got below 21.5c even after we called for service. The hotel is on a very busy road which made taxis not want to drive us

Staff was very accommodating, they allowed us to checkout late and held our luggage all day since our flight wasn't until 9pm. They even provided us accommodations to shower before we left for the airport.

The Davis is in a great location and provides a family with a full apartment. Breakfast is good, workout / pool facilities are fine. Good place

I prefer a more substantial gym but that is about my only complaint. I enjoy the Davis.

The area near the pool was beautiful and the staff was helpful

Being in a secondary building, we were not made aware of all the tours & activities the hotel offered such as the tuk tuk and pool.

The room was very well supplied bath robes/minny bar.

Checked out 2 days early and had to pay for the full reservation

Wonderful

I made reservations for the day we were arriving at midnight but because of the time change we were a day early and they wouldn't advance our payment to the correct day. We paid for 2 nights and stayed 12 hours.

Hotel was clean and secure. The staff was excellent. There are several good restaurants in the area. The hotel allowed 4 devices on the internet at no extra charge (slow version) after a firm discussion. (see the did not like)

It is a long walk to the sky train from the hotel, about 15 minutes. My main issue is the internet "game". Free internet is advertised, but it is a slowed down version and only one device per room is allowed. It cost 199b/day/device for a fast internet

The room was wonderful, where can you find a presidential suite for $--- anywhere in the world?

They forgot to leave extra toilet paper, but that¿s OK!
