S15 Sukhumvit Hotel

The location

We order 2 beds and they wanted to give a king sized bed for two adult. The bathroom shower was dirty.

The breakfast buffet is excellent.

The gym is too small.

All staffs very friendly and helpful

some equipment needs to fix such as faucet sink.also, during showers water wasn't flow well, water flow over almost out to the door. If would be better if they can fix it.

The location was my favorite thing. In the morning, breakfast was excellent.

The prices on the menu were quite expensive, comparing them to neighboring restaurants

Some of the sanitary ware is time to have a upgrade. But overall still in good condition.

Quick check-in and friendly staff. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Breakfast had a great assortment of choices with a managed egg station. Great location with close-by options within walking distance. BTS almost at the front door for those locations further away.

BTS line in front of the hotel, passing trains are a bit loud. Did not detract from my sleep though.

There was a good selection of shops and services in easy walking distance.

The wireless internet signal was good in the hallway, and the lobby, but inside the room if I stepped away from the door the signal dropped very low and the connection was unstable at best.

The carpets could need a replacement but it’s still acceptable:-) and the gym is not useable is too tiny and the equipment is not maintained and old

I have stayed at S15 several times over the years & found it very enjoyable, fantastic location & always recommended it to friends.This visit was different. I was only impressed with my interactions with housekeeping staff who were “delightful” They were polite, cheerful, warm hearted, eager to chat, help & have a laugh. PLEASE commend them on my behalf

As I am looking for a condominium in Bangkok I needed to extend my stay at S15 twice. I had some difficulty with my credit card which caused some irritation to reception staff. With patience it was sorted, however the attitude toward me was disappointing. I moved rooms 3 times ?without assistance ( I am 63 years old ) There appeared to be continued confusion regarding my bookings of which I was clearly unaware. Yesterday ( Songkran )at midday, I was asked to vacate & return the following day as I had made a booking error, again, allegedly. The major concern was money ? Apple Pay was refused by staff as was payment via Agoda ? A solution was reached with considerable stress. This mishap occurred twice. Overall I am unimpressed by the sullen, condescending attitude from reception staff. In addition WiFi is erratic. Additionally, I performed the Heimlich manoeuvre on a gentleman ‘choking’ during breakfast service. Nobody assisted him except to call for management. Whilst this is an unpredictable occurrence, “immediate”first aid was required. Staff were confused & simply watched. This gentleman would have choked to death without intervention. It was also distressing for other diners.

You can get a really decent size room in this hotel and the beds are always comfortable. The location is perfect on Sukhumvit Road.

I didn't get a view from the room, but these rooms are so good that you don't really need a view.
