Staff not empowered by management to solve issues. Maid service was difficult to coordinate. Mainly caters to tourist groups from Japan and China. Deficient in English speaking staff.

Was disappointed that that gym and pool were closed for renovation. This was not mentioned at the time of booking.

I have previously used this hotel due to proximity to nearby Bangkok Hospital. This time I would not be visiting the hospital but booked the hotel for a one-night family stay anyway due to room size, price and having an excellent gym facility. Sadly when I went to the 5th floor to use the gym on exiting the elevator I was met by a dusty cement floor. At first I thought I had arrived in the basement by mistake and I re-entered the elevator to check. Sure enough I was on the 5th floor and when I looked through the darkness (it was early evening) I could see the silhouette of what had once been the gym area. The floor had literally been gutted back to bare cement walls and floor. No partition walls, nothing left. I went to Reception and asked 'Has the gym been moved?' The answer was 'The gym is Closed.' I said 'No. Not closed. GONE.' I complained that there should be something on the website or when people book to inform them of this. Or at least inform guests when they check in. Sadly will not be using A One again unless need to be near the hospital.

They gave us small rooms that were not described as a picture. They changed the room after one week after I confronted them.They wanted to charge us 2500 Baht for a bed sheet that was marked with pen, which they lied us that they had tried to wash it away. When we demanded them to give us the bed sheet, they came two people to our room, one taking video and one with the sheet that was not washed at all. We washed it with our hand and pen mark was easily away. We told the manager that it is rude to treat customers like that and they apologized. These people wants us to take our money by lying. I will never book the same hotel again.

room clean it's not bad. location near hospital and far from center . If you want quiet this is good choice. there have car park alot .

The air conditioner is loud at night. It would be great if it could be improved.

Only if you have to go to Bangkok Hospital and you are in a group tours, the location works. If you are individual traveler, the location is not convenient to access to the BTS. We did not take breakfast at hotel. Room is good and clean. The Bed is comfortable.

The Airconditioning is very noisy. The bathroom is not good for the elderly people because its floor is lower than the room's floor. The pillow is too hard. The corridor floor boards are lifting. It could cause an accident. The hotel is under renovation around the escalator. They should have put more signs of "danger" to warn the guests not to trip and fall.

the lift is the biggest issue. it takes forever to get the lift. so many Chinese tourists and it's very crowded. I'm Chinese BTW

Language barrier issue with staff. Also the hotel isn't located in a great and convenient location of Bangkok. Nothing much surrounded by the hotel either besides a small convenience store.

Good hotel close to the Bangkok Hospital - they have a shuttle service that can take you there and pick up every half an hour. Great facilities, clean gym and good large swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Lots of busses tour groups use this hotel so it does get very busy in the restaurant and reception areas at some times

Wish I had a walk-in shower... my mobility issues make it hard to use a soaking tub....

Breakfast was awesome!

No walk in shower; just a deep soaking tub with shower head and wand. I have problems getting into and out of tubs, especially deep soaking tubs.

All needed amenities provided, swimming pool with a view, located near bus station that goes to the city center, pleasant personnel, you can enjoy the gym, massage and have breakfast in the restaurant near the lobby.

Maybe the location is not the perfect one, but the hotel is very good overall

Most tours did not pick up from hotel, needed to catch taxi to central location.
