    Pros +

    • Hands down the best thing about this place is the staff. Everyone I met or cross paths with always had a smile and a warm welcome for me. That means a lot when your 10000miles away for where you call home. Thank You Red Planet for yet another great stay.
    • Clean budget hotel with very friendly staff and security
    • Friendly staff clean rooms

    Cons -

    • When it was time to check out and leave. I was like saying bye to an old friend. Two weeks went by way to fast..
    • The advertise TV with cable channels but unfortunately this is not correct because they haven't had cable TV for over 6 months
    • There is no TV hasn't been for months and they still charge full price. It's ridiculous They won't clean your room unless you ask them to which is the only hotel in the world I've seen this stupid policy. It's time consuming for staff and customers

    Everything

    9Shane M.Posted on: 1-25-2026

Almost everything. By far, though, The Staff was cheerful, kind, and helpful.

Finicky A/C (Use "Dry"). TV Remote wasn't intuitive necessitating a call to the service person, which is annoying & silly. Provide a simple document with directions, please.

Location and bed pillows were comfy. Elevator was fast

The smell of the carpet in the corridor. No free slippers inside the room you have to pay additional for it. You have to refill the water at the lobby. Wifi wasn’t strong. Password kept failing so couldn’t use it in my whole stay. Still not using smart tv’s.

Staffs were amaaazing!! Very helpful. It is a walking distance to Divisoria. So, if your purpose is going to Divisoria this is a perfect place to stay, just a 10 minutes' walk to Divisoria. Room is very fresh, shower is so lovely, I find it as a hidden gem in Binondo. Downstairs has 7-11 convenience store in case you need some toiletries, food, siopao, ATM as well. Close to Binondo church.I would definitely book here again. Price is really good too.

Bed is comfortable although it is not a regular bed, it has a lot of small bulges or lumps like a size of marble on the topper or the surface, I believe if you are pregnant, it would be a good support. I don't know how to express it, but it is not a plain regular bed. But I'm sure many would prefer it; it is just not to my liking. I still was able to get a good sleep. I am not sure if every room has the same type of topper.

Everything, especially that it's close to tourist spots and known restaurants.

Just the check in process, it got a bit busy so there's a queue.

    7CorazonPosted on: 12-11-2025

It was close to the places we wanted to go to and the 7/11 downstairs was convenient.

No restaurant in the hotel so we can't order room service.

    9SamiaPosted on: 12-3-2025

Location and cost. Walking distance to Escolta and Binondo. Not pricey. Comfortable.

The sheets doesnt look white enough and has seen better days but it still does the job. The check in process took more than 30mins.

The hotel was located by Chinatown

Two of the outlets in our room didn’t work. Our shower did not drain so we were standing in water the whole time we showered. Last, the man working the front desk was not somebody I’d like to work with when booking a hotel. We asked for an early check in as our flight got in early. Initially, he said the room isn’t ready but he’ll call us when it is and may be ready soon or ‘in a little while.’ We waited in the lobby with no update for an hour. That’s fine. I went to the front desk and asked if it would be ready anytime soon and if not we can just leave and come back. So we left to get food in Chinatown and came back. I asked him again if the room was available and he immediately said no it’s not ready but we’ll let you know. He didn’t check his computer or ask for my name. Just said no and some generic answer about they’ll be ready soon. We asked again about 30 minutes later and the same issue and that ‘we’ll be calling names shortly.’ Look, it’s fine if you don’t do early check ins. But don’t tell people that the rooms will be ready and just have us waiting around the lobby. Just say there is no early check in and we can enjoy our day and come back. After a long day of travel, the last thing we need is someone wasting our time. That first encounter was enough to not come back. That guy was one of the worst front desk people at a hotel I’ve ever experienced. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere.

1st - Security who greets you at the entrance was very pleasant & friendly 2nd - Front desk personnel were very accommodating & again friendly

The only thing was there was no microwave but other than that it was good. Also maybe if they can add face towel & or hand towels. The fire exit in our floor (5th) should be closed at all times. I'm Afraid someone from the outside can access it. The parking lot in the basement could use brighter lights

    Cleanliness

Staff are very polite but need to explain or mention the rules and regulations for parking space, when i leave property having party with friends and cousins then when i get back at 3am there is no slot for us imagine 5 rooms not even 1 slot i’ve seen to many L300 van at the parking my 3 cars is in outside the property, no assurance if safe or not receptionist are not mentioning when you leave the property you don’t have slot for parking at least we know it.

    Price per night.

Room, AC, wifi, bed, all the amenities meet my expectation.

    10Sonny P.Posted on: 10-30-2025

The room is very comfortable and very clean. The bed is so soft that feels like in heaven. If your day is so tiring then the room is so refreshing. Highly recommended.

First, the convenience store on the first floor of the building was very handy.Second, Ongpin Street in Chinatown is within walking distance, and the location overall is good if not great. since it’s close to many tourist destinations around the Manila area. The staff were also approachable and friendly.

The bathroom drainage wasn’t good. The water from the shower stays on the floor near the toilet and doesn’t flow properly to the drain because the floor is uneven.

Clean and very accommodating staff @ the(Reception)Convenient place with in the heart of the City of Manila.

    8MalcolmPosted on: 10-9-2025

The property was clean and reasonably comfortable. Staff were friendly. The location is in the hustle/bustle near Chinatown. Normally we like these types of locations but the poverty and garbage were a little overwhelming. Still lots to see but not ideal for many people.

Nothing to do with the property but the general location is not appealing unless you really want to see street life.
