New Coast Hotel Manila

Location

Hotel under renovation and main entrance is closed with a lot of construction noise with out any notification

Close to a lot of places, and only 15 mins from the airport with traffic.

They put us in a room near construction and did not mention that the pool was shut down, but the manager made it right by moving our room and giving us a comp for our breakfast meals.

Location, amenities, service.

TV way too small and too low. But, being able to use my Netflix account was a big plus!

Location and Staff

House Cleaning was not the best. Had to keep asking for clean towel for my daughter and they would not vacuum the carpet unless I asked.

Eitvhas everything you need: clean spacious room with a gorgeous view. Staff was professional and courteous. Since I was traveling alone it felt good to know the hotel had a Security system in place. They have cameras and security staff on duty.

Very pricey food. Outside is 75-80% less than the price they charge you if you eat in their restaurant.

The professionalism and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Old rundown hotel not exactly 5star as advertised

The hotel was lovely but the staff were EXCEPTIONAL! We have travelled extensively around the world and have never been to a Hotel where every staff member was amazing! Cannot speak highly enough of this Hotel.

The staff are very nice and helpful.

Overall is very good except the location.

Great location, great staffs, excellent services.

Construction noises.

Generally a decent place

The price should have been much lower, website did not say major construction. Taxi had a hard time finding the main lobby.

Housekeepings Michelle did a wonderful job keeping up the room, the laundry, the room service items etc. I really enjoyed my stay there in downtown Manila.

Even though the hotel was under renovation, so pool area was not available. The price for four nights was a deal especially being in the heart of the city, the staff all friendly, polite and extremely welcoming and helpful to all guest. Not once’s did I not get greeted by someone of the staff, that’s a small detail, but for new guest it’s nice to have.

Room might need to be revamped, though spacious, it seems very old style, bathroom was really nice but just room like carpeting, paint work and furniture should be updated.

Always stay here when in Manila. It’s under renovation right now.

The pool and gym are temporarily closed. This was stated when I booked.

The staff. EVERY person we came in contact with was exceptional. From the front desk, to the concierge, EVERY SINGLE PERSON was amazing.

Our room was rife with black mold. Only 3 outlets in our room worked. One out key was literally about to fall out the wall and you could see exposed wires. The carpet was dirty, there were so many small flies in the bathroom and the room was in a very bad state. We’ve been staying there since it was the Hyatt. This place has unfortunately fallen far from grace. Used to be a REAL 5 star property. Now it’s 1.5 stars at best. The pool was closed as well. Overall, it was not a great experience.

The staff and the location

You have been renovating the swimming pool and the steam room for over a year now (I stayed at the new coast last year) and you still charge the same price

Location was excellent. The bf and pillows were exceptional.

Food at the bar was marginal

Seems strange that you cant charge back to your room from the main restaurant

Luxury hotel in a great location to visit sites and shop. Beautiful, clean and spacious room. Excellent breakfast buffet.
