Discovery Primea Hotel

The whole staff was very friendly and accommodating. All requests were carried out no hassles or negative attitudes. Everything I asked was carried out with a smile. Xyla Tobar the reservations point of contact was a standout coordinator communicator.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE, GREAT VIEWS, GREAT STAFF!

Beautiful modern and comfortable hotel.

The room was well appointed with some excellent features, some being totally unexpected.

Great hotel. We stayed here both at the beginning and end of our Philippines trip. Clean, comfortable, quiet and in a great location. The breakfast and the staff were exceptional. My wife and I are vegetarian and Roy, the head waiter went out of his way to make sure we knew what our options were.

The staff and how they went the extra Mile for our honeymoon. Also a TV in the bathroom was something I had not seen before.

The smell coming from the AC/ventilation. It was a bit muff.

The room was very spacious and clean. The room service was also top notch. The pool was also really beautiful at night. The spa treatment was satisfactory.

The washer/drier was terrible. It took almost 4 hours to get our clothes to dry. The staff ended up taking it down to their drier. They extended our check out time to get this resolved but there was no sort of compensation. This really inconvenienced us since we lost a lot of time to explore the Phillipines. For a 5 star hotel this should not have been an issue.

We enjoyed our stay at Discovery Primea, and we found our room (perhaps a 1 bedroom suite) to be spacious, clean and well equipped. I especially liked that the TVs had streaming service (Netflix, Prime, etc.) access. WiFi and A/C were strong, and the room was very quiet.The hotel was located across from a large (Glorietta) mall, where there were tons of restaurants. We really enjoyed our meal at Manam!The hotel staff were numerous and very friendly. We used the hotel gym and it was large and well equipped with free weights, dumbbells and some treadmills and Nautilus machines. We also used the pool and it was clean and had a nice view.

The breakfast buffet, included in our rate, had plenty of Western options, though not necessarily the healthiest. It would have been nice if it offered things like prunes, Greek yogurt or oatmeal.

The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The staff were really lovely and willing to help with anything. We paid to have a late check out which was a huge relief for our late night flight and they were happy to store our luggage for us until we left. The location was good! Opposite a huge shopping centre so it was easy to grab a few things if you needed to. We would definitely stay here again.

Location and cleanliness and nice staff.

Food at breakfast was extensive but not very good.

The staff was incredible. The breakfast was great. The coffe was delicious. The location was wonderful right in the heart of Makati. Walked to the New Year's Eve celebration which was super close. Everything was clean. The bed was super comfy.

The only issue was that the room we were in had a musty smell. Opening the windows helped some.

Makati is my favourite area of Manila, have visited the area multiple times over the years and for a family of 4 Discovery Primea was excellent.

The breakfast buffet was ok, felt that the some of the fast moving food stuff was slow to be replenished.

Clean, modern, spacious rooms

Best value for money -- free breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of high quality selections, staff was pleasant and accommodating, the room was comfortable and large. It was like 2- bedroom apartment that was more than worth the price of the stay.

Everyone was very accommodating and tends to your needs. From complimentary breakfast, Spa massages, and customer service is beyond exceptional!

Pool hours should be extended :)

Loved the quality and large amount of choices available at the buffet breakfast - both Filipino, Western etc, and the expresso coffee was good too. The room was lovely - bed and pillows especially were super comfortable. The pool looked good but we did not swim. The bar on the rooftop / balcony was a lovely spot for a drink after a long day of travelling. All the staff were delightful - very proactive and friendly - nothing was too difficult for them to accommodate. They made the final leg of my friend's 50th birthday tour perfect with a cake in the room on arrival and some 'towel art' on the bed. Thank you!

The pool was closed during the day for renovations unfortunately, only opening from 4pm. That was a pity as we would have made use of it during the day. Would have loved a water filter in our room so that we could avoid bottled water and just refill instead. We had to request a kettle but it was delivered promptly.

The size of the apartment, very comfortable beds and having a washing machine drier was great.All the staff were exellent and super service. The pool was very warm.We tried the Tapenade restaurant one evening for dinner and they have very good quality food, homemade pastas!

The aircon in the restaurant/breakfast area was a bit cold for us.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing with tons of options. Pool is very nice, sadly there's no pool bar.

My family and I stayed at DIscovery Primea for 3 nights. The room/apartment was fabulous, clean and ideal for a family as it was a large sized apartment. The beds were comfortable and the ensuite bathroom facilities in each room were immacuate. The breakfast was amazing and the breakfast staff were so freindly and helpful each morning.. Location is excellent in Makati. The pool was lovely and the poolside bar was nice. I have to say all of the hotel staff were amazing, professional, and welcoming and could not do enough for us. Especially the concierge and the front desk staff who were extremely helpful.

I would stuggle to find fault with anything during our stay. The only small reccomendation I would make is the poolside bar service is very slow and could do with a little improvement.
