Room was upgraded for free. Stellar view of city walls, golf course and city hall. Breakfast resembled a genuine restaurant, with good view.

Other events, e.g. weddings, can crowd the public spaces.

Accessibility to nearby places in Manila area.

Noticed room was recently renovated but it's not at par.

Nice city view. Attractive building and lobby. Good walking right outside the hotel.

Location and the amazing people who work there.

Tell the owner that a lot of things need fixing Shower plumbing loose and hard to use.Plugs falling out of receptacles and cable tv boxes are just hanging. I love the Bayleaf and these things should not be.!!!

Great place to base if you want to visit Intramuros sites. Rooftop restaurant/bar offers fantastic views of city, seems popular with non-guests but big enough to accommodate all. Food was good. Breakfast buffet geared to Asian/Filipino guests.

Room key didn’t work on consecutive days, so a bit of a hassle. Paid for stay upon arrival, but a day after leaving, saw we had been charged the full amount twice more. Took a while to get reimbursed.

It was our first time here.Buffet breakfast was amazing! Definitely the best I’ve had so far. Delicious food! ^_^The sunrise view added such a romantic and relaxing vibe to the morning. The comfort room and shower were very clean and spacious, with the hot and cold water working perfectly. The free Wi-Fi was fast, and I loved that both my Smart and Globe signal were strong throughout my stay. The room also had plenty of cabinet space and wide tables, which made everything even more convenient.Overall, a really enjoyable and comfortable staycation!

The first thing I noticed and didn’t really like was that the bed felt a bit too small for my preference. The LED TV also seemed quite outdated and didn’t really match the overall look of the room.Transportation was another challenge. It was difficult to book a Move-It or Joyride in the area. Around 10:30 PM, I even rented a tricycle from Luneta Park, but it could only drop me off at the Intramuros Arc, as security didn’t allow it to enter and bring me directly to the hotel’s main entrance. The place is also quite far from the nearest mall, which made getting around a bit inconvenient. There is a nearby 7/11, though it’s often packed with students, so quick stops can take some time.

The hotel was comfortable, rooms are nice, location is great for visitors of the old town. Breakfast very good, staff is helpful and very nice

Facilities are basic. No pool or gym. When rainy and you need to stay in the hotel not much to do. Bathroom can use a bit more towels.

Wonderful staff and service. Lovely breakfast and 9Spoons serves delicious meals. Great location and walkable around Intramuros and even to Binondo.

The room is average sized. The first room we were in smelled a bit musty, but they moved us right away. AC's are nice and cold but very noisy. TV volume was so low we had it turned up and because the walls are so thin, a neighbouring room put in a noise complaint so we had to stop watching TV. The rooms are definitely not soundproof.

I felt very safe there as an older woman staying alone. It was clean. Staff very nice and helpful. Roof top restaurant was nice. There were other options to eat on the property and nearby. I could walk to many attractions. My room was very quiet.

All the restaurants served the same food. To get snacks and drinks for my room I had to go to nearby convenience stores.

    Location & staffs r friendly / helpful

Some area has a moldy smell, CR is quite not clean

Location is good to explore the walled city of there was anything to actually see. Bed was comfortable and tv had a lot of channels. Room service food was very good.

The picture is completely inaccurate. That sprawling green lawn is a golf course on the other side of the wall. Everything was run down, found a hair in my breakfast food, makeup and fingerprints on the bathroom door (which didn’t latch), windows were dirty, and a deluxe king room is anything but deluxe.

    Location and price

Hard to communicate with the hotel, I ask for a surprise for my brother and nothing was inside the room. Unlike if you ask other hotel they will like towels with or any dedication in the plate to greet the celebrants. They just gave hine cake when they came in their restaurant what if they didn't went to the restaurant there will no cake or anything to greet him.

    - Staffs were very friendly and helpful- Very good location

    - Room equipment was very old. Air conditioner seems to be manufactured in 1990s. Could not adjust room temperature or even fan speed. Ventilator in bathroom is very very noisy all day and night but no way to turn off. The closet was too old and dusty. The towels color, bathroom mat changed to grey color and very hard. TV did not work. Short of room lights. - All my request for changing or providing some stuff in the hotel was refused (but in very polite way). However, I feel a little bit disappointed and inconvenient. The hotel manager should consider about guest comfortableness to improve hotel facility and service.

The property was closeby to the Manila Cathedral which is where we had to be for a wedding event.

There was an unknown insect on my 65 year old mother’s bed that the staff also did not recognize and they just changed the bed sheets, and did not offer any option to move to another place. We also tried to request at least an hour extension to the check out as an act of good will on their part but were disappointed that the reception declined our request.
