The location was nice, in the center of Colombo 4. Bed linens were acceptably clean. Air conditioning worked well, was very loud tho. No mosquitos in the room at all.

Nothing was clean at all. Everything from the lobby to the corridors to the sitting rooms, not to mention the room itself. Everything was dusty. The carpets in the corridors smelled terribly. In the room itself, it seemed like nothing was cleaned before we arrived, floor, bed, desk, chair, suitcase stand, and closets were covered with dust and dirt, and there were stains (some sticky, some water stains) on nearly every wooded surface. It was uncomfortable as you didn’t really want to touch anything in the room. However, what tops it all is the bathroom. Oh boy, where do I start. Of couse, everything was similarly grimey as the rest of the room, but thats not where it stops. There was no floor, just concrete. Same for the walls. As a result, moisture just sort of penetrated the whole place and it was extremely damp, resulting in lots of mold everywhere: Walls, corners, floor and crevices. No shower screen meant everything got wet when showering, and the drain was placed so that much of the water didnt reach it, meaning the whole bathroom just started flooding. There was water on the floor ALL of the time (even when we arrived) and of course that also meant it started smelling really, really bad. On top of that, the sink or the sink gable was not cleaned and had disgusting stains all over it. The window shade also started molding badly and had very ominous looking stains all over. Luckily, at least the seat of the toilet seemed clean. Apart from hygiene, the air conditioning was also very loud and rattly.

i think you have to invest in a total repairing of the rooms cause my toilet’s flush button didn’t work? and it’s mould on the walls :( and it was a big cockroach in my room

The location is very accessible and a few meters from stores, coffeeshops, Popeye's and fresh foods at Kells. Convenience stores were on the next avenue as was a mall, electronic stores, mobile stores etc. Good location and an excellent staff who is attentive and helpful round the clock. I will stay here again.

The room is big but the AC provided in the room is too small for the room size. So you will feel hot even though AC is ON and it is too old AC, so cooling was also an issue. No Indian D type plug points in the room and we have to use bathroom PLU point for charging the mobile phones which has Indian type charger.

Air conditioning. No bright lights in the room. No light near to dressing table. No lift. So carrying luggage to second floor is a problem.

Location

The property was old and in a state of disrepair. There was a leak and water soaked carpets in the hallways. There is mold throughout the building. There was no hot water and the bedding was old and stained.The staff all seemed to make up policies at whim. One created an imaginary fee and then made bizarre false accusations. Calling this place a boutique is ridiculous. It is one of the worst places in Colombo.

Good location

They told me they dont have any shampoos untill i showed them room facilities @booking.com.Wifi was less than 1mb at lobby, much worse in the room.Almost no sockets, No chairs. Broken bed.The hotel keeper told me like they would move to another place soon. The place like that should cost less. Not worth the money.P.S. Tried to play tricks with payment (asked me to pay more than i had to).

There is no tea makers and bath kits ( like soap shamboo) in the room. The kettle and the table are full of dust. There is a tissue holder but no tissues. No room service facility. In the bed cover There was a some insect pee I think lizard. And Ant was running over there. My check in time was 4am. I additionally paid 3000 for that . But they didn't prepared my room. I already booked the room through booking.com. but its look like I just booked the room on check in time. I extremely disappointed when enter into the room. They already given another room that bathroom water didn't drain well. And there was a lizard pee on the white bed cover.That's why I ask for another room.

The room is okay for the money , the staff is good.

The lock (chain) was broken, and at about 4 am someone opened one broken lock. I woke up and closed the door. But I thought it could be dangerous, that the room door was not securely closed.

Big and comfortable bed

Wifi doesen't work and stuff does not feel responsible for it. They just told me to get private Internet on my phone. I had to work online, but there is no wifi in the rooms. To use wifi one needs to sit in common rooms. But even then the connection is very slow and sometimes completely interrupted. Good thing in common rooms: The AC is working. Unfortunately in guest rooms it does not! I tried two different rooms, but AC does not work properly. Telefone also does not work, so ome cannot call the reception. I told the stuff and their answer was, I would only complain! Rooms are dark and full of mosquitos. Hardly possible to sleep because of mosquitos and heat.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying at this hotel. During my visit, there were several issues with the room, including mold, a malfunctioning air conditioner, and problems with the toilet. Additionally, the hotel is located near a school, which made it quite noisy. While the staff was responsive to our complaints, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. If you're looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Staff ok, but not maintenance from the property.., make attention, don't stay at top floor!

The first night the room n 27 (I'm not sure about the room number, but for sure was at the second floor) I found very conspicuous water leaks from the floor (parquet ..) and very strong humidity in the room. In general, the entire top floor was characterized by high humidity, but in my room, I repeat, there was not only humidity but massive water leaks from the floor! The next 2 nights, they found me a room on the 1st floor which was almost ok, actually there was no hot water in the shower.

The room was clean and the staff are friendly and helpful

The room does not come with the facility to make morning tea/coffee. The aircon was only cooling one side of the room. There were mosquitoes galore at night and we couldn't get a good night's sleep due to this. Plus the fridge doesn't cool well.

The only positive aspect was that the TV had all channels!!

This hotel room did not meet expectations. The staff were not respectful and the room was not up to standard. There were no coffee or tea packets provided, the floor was wet, and the room did not match the photos on the booking website. Additionally, there was no elevator available and only stairs, making it difficult to access the room. The only positive aspect was that the TV had all channels. However, the internet connection was slow. I would not recommend this hotel room.

Good value for money and location. Very friendly helpful staff. Had all the required facilities in the room. First I was given a room which was a bit noisy because it was facing a main street, but the room was changed to another one due to renovation works later on, and the new one was really nice and spacious.
