Radisson Hotel Colombo

The staff from the reception to the waiters need proper training. No greeting whatsoever.The waiters are doing their own thing barely bothered about the guests at the roof top restaurant. They hide themselves. No managers present. Pls teach them SERVICE!

I was very disappointed with my stay after check-in.We arrived at the hotel on the 19th morning around 1:30 AM after a long trip. During check-in, there was only one staff member handling the reception and many guests were waiting. We did not receive any welcome drink or even basic refreshments.My family, especially my son, was very thirsty at that time, so I expected at least some fizzy drinks or water to be available in the room minibar. Unfortunately, when we entered the room and checked the minibar, it was completely empty.Because it was very late at night, I had no choice but to go outside and buy drinks for my son, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for us at that time. When I returned, the security staff was kind enough to help me contact the F&B team, and they arranged one fizzy drink. After that, we finally managed to rest.The next morning, we noticed that our room did not have an iron or ironing board, and the bathroom did not include a dental kit. For a hotel charging around $122 per night, these are basic amenities that should be available without multiple requests.I had to call housekeeping two to three times before these items were delivered.After breakfast, I visited the front office and explained everything. I requested to check out one night earlier, but they refused to refund because my booking was made through Booking.com.In the end, I stayed only one more night, while my wife and son checked out after the second night.I work in the tourism industry and understand hotel standards very well, especially for this room rate. Sadly, this experience felt below even a 3-star level.I’m sorry to say this, but my stay did not meet expectations at all.

Location is great, I love this hotel for the ocean view it has and was a returning customer since the hotel was previously Ozo.

The View from the Rooftop is Spectacular... I really enjoy the weather/view especially the Sunset and be emotional with the past event (chaaar!). I requested a late check-out since I want to enjoy my remaining time in Colombo.

well I don't know if the room next to me is a smoking room because i can smell the Cigar in the elevator area. I don't like it though. I forgot to request to transfer to another room but I think the hotel is quite full that day.

Lack of food variation throughout the 3 days!! Specifically breakfast and dinner, it should include variations like rotating hot options, different types of pastries, or even just a change in the fruit selection—would greatly enhance the guest experience, especially for those staying multiple nights. , small pool, no balckony, small rooms.

The staffs were amazing, especially Channa. He was kind and very attentive

The only thing I didn’t like was the tv wasn’t working well and was unable to connect with the phone. Count play anything through the phone

Hotel was far from the main city and they didnt allow early check in which was a bit disappointment

It was a lovely stay. Hotel was right in front of the seaside. You could see the train passing by every now and then. The pool on the top floor was amazing. It had an awesome view of Colombo.Room was very clean and new. I would suggest this stay.

Food at the restaurant wasnt great at all. Also overpriced

Thee rooftop is beautiful with great view! Very nice pool! Nice staff including night auditors and security who helped check us in during the middle of the night.

rooms are very clean, spacious and comfy. It’s located very easily accessible point. The view is spectacular, especially , sun set view at rooftop. Further, room service is doing good job.
