Jetwing Colombo Seven

Skypool with view was beautiful. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Room was well-furnished and comfortable. Room service was good. Location was great.

The only thing I did not love about the hotel was the breakfast. The breakfast was decent but not amazing - I would like to have seen a wider offering of healthy breakfast offerings. More fruit selection, more healthy granola, more egg-white omelettes, more fresh juices. The selection was good but not great.

We had a wonderful time during our 7-day stay at Jetwing Colombo Seven. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating of all of our requests. We had requested an extra cot be set up in our room, and it was ready for us when we arrived. After a 26 hour journey, and flight delays, it felt good to have a filling breakfast, take a hot shower and sleep off the fatigue. We had the breakfast buffet atleast 6 times during our stay, and ordered room service for dinner a few times. The food was delicious, and my kids really enjoyed the breakfast buffet offerings. We were in Colombo during the Christmas season, and on Christmas Eve, the staff went to each room to drop off a box of cookies and a little dessert. While we were there, we used the spa services, the rooftop bar and the infinity pool. This was our first visit to Sri Lanka and the hotel played a big part in making this a memorable visit. Highly recommend staying here for a 5-star experience!

The hotel is located right in the middle of the city, so be aware that the lower level rooms might be noisy since the roads are always busy during the day. There were 2 nights when loud music was being played somewhere close by (either at the rooftop restaurant or a different building). This went on past 11 pm both nights.

I absolutely love the Jetwing hotel series. Well furnished, appropriately sized, clean, airy, bright. It only has what is needed and not more. There is a mini kitchen in this hotel room that is perfect. We were able to request for an extra single mattress for our famly of 4. Food was good. There is a washing machine and a rooftop pool. Staff were polite, courteous and helpful. Perfect choice for families & those who want a respectable good hotel.

Slow service some times, had issues with the washer/dryer. The swimming pool is looking dangerous, quite uneasy here with kids

Beautiful and classy hotel in a very nice and central neighborhood. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The staff were so kind. The beds comfy. The rooms spacious. The kids loved the rooftop pool. We will stay again next time we pass through Colombo.

ive been living in hotels for the past year in south east asia and this is the first five star hotel that ive stayed at that didnt offer complimentary breakfast or water in the room. staff needs better english because there was so much back and forth about the breakfast being complimentary or not, my nervous system just got burnt after a late last minute check in.

Construction taking place and messy courtyard which we should have been informed about.Staff asked if we had anything at the minibar and we went said no - they still went ahead and checked and made us wait.

The location, staff , facilities and food

The location is close to most of Colombo tourist areas. The area is quiet and clean. The property is very calm and complete clean. The pool area and roof top restaurant are amazing

The staff were really welcoming and the high level of service was evident during our stay. The hotel is conveniently located with a supermarket directly opposite it. We couldn't explore Colombo as the kids were not well but the stay in Jetwing Colombo Seven was very comfortable and relaxing even under the circumstances. The staff at the rooftop restaurant were very attentive and made some amazing cocktails for us. Himasha, Lasith and Dilshan took care of us really well.

We liked the service and staff during Breakfast and Dinner. They went out of their way to accommodate us. We went sightseeing using the Electric tuk-tuk. Fazil, who was driving us, did an amazing job. He took time to understand what we wanted to see and gave us a detailed description.

Room a long walk from restaurant facilities but only a minor niggle

Nice hotel for a 1 night stay. The room was clean, good facilities available in the room, comfortable bed. We visited the rooftop bar and restaurant which was nice although we were surprised at the service fee and taxes added onto the bill. It ended up being 30% more expensive than expected. However, the food was nice and the views over the city are amazing. The rooftop pool was nice and it was good to have access to the shower once we'd checked out. There is not much space up there but it was adequate for what we needed. I was kindly given soy milk for the room to make a cup of tea which was much appreciated. We also appreciated the late check out due to a later flight and the storage of our luggage. Location wise - there were some nice cafe's and shops within walking distance and a large park within a 20-25 minute walk. Galle Face Beach was a short tuk tuk ride away along with One Galle Face Mall.

The downstairs restaurant had a limited menu in the early evening - whilst for some this may not be a problem, we have a 2 year old and eating at 7pm was too late for us. We did go to the rooftop restaurant instead but it would have been nice to have the option. Not a complaint as such, just something for others to be aware of.

We had a truly wonderful time during our stay at Jetwing Colombo Seven. What really stood out was the exceptional service from all the staff members we encountered. Throughout our stay, everyone was incredibly accommodating, kind, welcoming, and friendly.From the reception team who went above and beyond to help us source swimming nappies (thank you!), to the attentive staff in both the downstairs and upstairs restaurants, and the efficient housekeeping team – everyone contributed to making our experience fantastic.

A lovely hotel in a quieter area of Colombo. Good sized room with lovely bathroom. Staff pleasant. Excellent buffet breakfast. Ward 7 restaurant very nice. However we expected a little more from a 5 star rated hotel. Entrance lobby was nothing special. We were not offered a cold drink on arrival, where we had been when staying in much lesser hotels. Areas a little tired. Corners of the shower were not very clean. For the price we were expecting more.
