Pearl City Hotel

The place was very comfortable and pleasant

We were expecting two beds (one king bed and one single bed); however, the room provided has only one king bed. It may have been my mistake while selecting the room during the booking process.

The staff, especially the reception team, were excellent and very welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to explore much during my visit.

The process for time extensions and re-booking was quite rigid, leaving little room for flexibility. It would have been great if the service had shown more consideration for the guests’ needs.

Air conditioner is not working. I complaint many times. The Manager never care for our complaint. Very disappointed.

The hotel is very very bad no AC work nothing smell all over in hotel

Wash room is very small and too old. Bed linen were so bad, they were not clean.

Location was good, so as the internet. Staff is also superb.

There is a feeling of dampness. May be it's the weather in Colombo

Big room. Good location near many cafes and good restaurants.

Air conditioning is very noisy. Room is old and smells bad.

Loved how friendly the staff are, everytime we come here... They treat you so nice and with utmost respect... Food was great, service was fastLaundry facility was awesome and within our budgetThe whole stay has been within our budget and comfortable.... Oh and yes they upgraded my room

didn’t have buffet breakfast and choice of food on menu was limited. Electricity went off a lot in the evening.

The rooms where nice and clean, also had a room with balcony, very convenient for a smoker

The shower was hard to put in the right temperature

Although rooms were very small without any view, all amenities were available in the room as advertised. Beds were comfortable.

They need to improve on the overall cleanliness including rooms, bathrooms, lobby etc. Iron stand needs improvement.

The place is full of ants even on the bed sheets, the last time there was a big cockroach on the bed... very disgusting ...Alot of noise from adjacent rooms and street, rooms are not sound proof...The smell of the elevator and corridor was awful...No hot water on the tap until you call the receptionist to fix that...

The room was very nice. And the staffs who were working there was very kind and help full.Pearl is located in a very good place, closer to a lot of places i expected. I hope to stay at Pearl next time as well.

However, the breakfast was not so good. and the time it took for the breakfast was very long.I hope the break fast can be faster and reduce the time for waiting.

Garbage Room

They gave us a smoking room full of cigarette smell, we asked them to give us another room they said only that room is available and other rooms are expensive, there is no preference option for non smoking rooms.

The location was good. And the staff was super friendly.

Hot water was not functional.
