⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5I had a wonderful stay at Amari Hotel in Sri Lanka! The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful — not just because they had to be, but because they truly cared. One staff member in particular, Nishel, stood out for being so responsive and attentive at the check in.The facilities were spotless, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better — right in downtown, close to everything. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I’d definitely recommend Amari Hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

The location, the rooftop bar (nice music in the evening until midnight), friendly staff and large selection of food at breakfast (but mainly Asian). The room was quite large with a nice ocean view, but the bathroom was pretty small

We found a tick on the carpet, there were stains on the sheets and towels, and the carpet had a tone of hair on it (didn't get the impression that it was ever vacuumed). Since the price is quite high for Sri Lanka i would have expected better cleaning service

A brand new property right at Colombo 3 junction which is a convenient location to catch a train, bus or a hail a cab or access the nearby beach/ galle face green, and all the new shopping malls around the area. The amenities are excellent and I got a high rise beach view room and the view of the Indian Ocean was just perfect! I was driving and there was ample parking within the property and elevator access to the lobby and the reception. My stay was short, so I didn’t get the checkout the pool/restaurants, but I am sure they are excellent as well! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend a beach view room to experience the excellent Sri Lankan hospitality!

If you are driving along the galle road, entry in to the hotel through the Marine Drive traffic might be a little tricky, but it’s not a major inconvenience. Access is much easier if you are coming via the marine drive.

Everything was Good, Location, Specially Pool View, Room View , Breakfast, Behaiviour of Staff. Room Service Was Excellent Wifi Hight Speed.Hotel Staff Gave Completry Cake to My Dauther Late Birthday..I Always Miss Amari Colombo

Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast with many choices. Staff was very helpful including allowing us to store some of our luggage for free while we traveled upcountry.

Housekeeping was less than perfect requiring us to call for more toiletries and fresh towels.

They haven’t system to check our online payments .then we have to wait more then 30 minutes to checking.i was there with my family.i was required more than 5 times to clean my room.im not happy about room service and house keeping

I have very bad experience with the hotel, the hotel is 5 stars but the service is ZERO! The food in room dine 2 of 5 (the chicken in pasta was bad) Nobody take the tray from the room One of the staff from reception asked me to bring a towel from my room, even though there are towels available at the swimming pool. My room key was deactivated at 12:00 (i already requested for late checkout) , and at that time, I had just come out of the pool and was still wet. This forced me to walk through the hotel lobby in that condition, which is completely unacceptable. I will not be visiting this hotel again.

We had an amazing 2-night stay at Amari Colombo.We were greeted warmly with a welcome drink and the check in was handled while we enjoyed the drinks.Special thanks to Hansi from the reception! She was very kind and helped us with everything during our stay.One night we tried the dinner buffet at the hotel's Ahara Restaurant. It was amazing with so many options and well worth the price.The rooftop bar was also great, even though we had to sit inside due to rainy evenings.The location was great as well with many attractions in walking distance or reachable with short tuk tuk drives.

What a beautiful hotel. All of the touches are modern and convenient. I’m currently typing this review from another hotel and wished I was at Amari

Considering the hotels around Amari or in the same location, like NH, Marriott, Amari seems a bit overpriced for the meals and etc.

Excellent location, facilities, helpful staff.

Staff and management seem a bit inexperienced. They do their best, but they frequently make small errors, for example they turned off my internet four times in my last day despite having specifically agreed with them on the time of my departure. I needed the internet to use WhatsApp to arrangement my taxi to leave.

The location was great with an amazing sea view. The room was spacious, modern, and well-equipped with various facilities.

The Bedroom was well equippedthe Lighting was unique.Room was comfortable.

Staff Needed a little bit more training.when you request something from Housekeeping, it takes a long time or sometimes never delivered.at the Buffet on the 5th floor, the service, rendered by the staff wasn't Prompt enough except for a couple of staff who were very courteous and helpful.

The property is located in prime location. Room is very well maintained, clean and convenient. The infinity pool is located in the top floor with amazing view of the ocean.

Everything was perfect except that the jacuzzi in our room wasn’t working(Had to use it as a bath tub)

Very friendly staffs. Which is the spirit of all Sri Lankan people :-)The beds were very comfortable

We stayed for 3 nights. Where we experienced bas smell for two nights that came from the drainage system. However the hotel tried to fixed it but it didn’t work very well. Ahāra restaurant and the lobby one were below what we expected. In fact the food served there, specially at Ahata was not very fresh.

Breakfast was very nice, with lots of options for different tastes. The view from the room was also very enjoyable. Staff was very helpful.

We needed to leave very quickly and they asked us to stay in the lobby until they had confirmation that everything was alright. Not very nice to wait for others to check on you when you are in a hurry.
