Front desk delays in check-in/checkout

When we checked in we got upgraded to a suite and even though we only stayed 1 day, it was so wonderful! The kids had lots of space and even we enjoyed the amenities including the huge rub and breathtaking view from the bathroom!

The stay was very special, Mr. Arpit and Mr. Abdulrahman were very accommodating and made my stay very welcoming, everything was so clean, and whenever we called room service they responded within mins. I would recommend Sheraton for any person considering a quite and enjoyable stay in colombo.

Food in the restaurant could be of more international variety.

Food is very bad, breakfast is not good, quality of the food is not at all good, Greens were all dried up, never thought such poor quality in one of the Sheraton HotelsPl visit one of the Anantara hotels in SL or Bangkok and follow their food presentationsWines served were very poor quality

I have never had such good sleep in any other hotel. Bed was super comfy and room was squeaky clean. Will definitely stay here again on future visits to Colombo.

The hotel is new, the rooms are modern, the bathrooms stylish, the beds are super comfy and the bed linnens are absolutely perfect. The food is good. For me it is the best place to stay in Colombo.

the location is mixed with old and new buildings, and it is not very inviting to walk around, but it is only 10 minutes drive to the nicer part of Colombo.

I stayed at the Sheraton at the start and end of my Sri Lanka trip. The early check in and late check out were very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. All staff were incredibly helpful. Joseph made my arrival and departure a very pleasant experience. I also had two excellent massages with Dinesha who helped me relieve back pain before travelling. I warmly recommend her to anyone who wants to have a relaxing yet effective treatment.

Hospitality. Every staff member was happy to help.

No any major complaints. I would be happier if housekeeping did not forget to leave a spare toilet roll (in addition to the one on the roll holder).Shower gel, shampoo, etc. were provided in big bottles. But housekeeping forgot to fill up the shower gell.Apart from such minor issues. Everything else was perfect.

Cleanliness, robes, spa, pool, comfy bed.Kettle, fridge, water bottles, good walk in shower.

Rang for 24 hour room service mid afternoon but there was no answer. That was distressing since I had travelled all day and had not eaten.More, I think the dinner buffet is too expensive. I am gluten intolerant and there should have been a discount to me because most items had gluten. I won't eat there again. If you had offered me a discount, I would return but you did not.Your competition, Tranz Cinnamon automatically gave me a discount without asking. Plus, your competition has food allergy symbols on cards in front of every buffet dish.

We loved everything at Sheraton. The room was beautifully decorated to welcome us for our honeymoon. Thanks to the Front Office Manager and whole team. You made our stay memorable:-) The food was excellent.The spa beautiful decorated with professional therapist. Thanks to the young lady who took care of me.We enjoyed the roof top with great music and delicious cocktail.We are planning every year to renew our vows.

The live music for Valentine could have been better.

Excellent facilities and service at a great location.The Sheraton at Colombo made for an amazing stay based on its central location and excellent service. We were given an upgraded room based on my Marriott status and had access to the lounge which made for a relaxing area for a bite or a beverage. Rooms were spacious and had an excellent view of the ocean, which made for a serene experience when one woke up and during the day. What topped it all off was the excellent service and the help offered, be it for a list item on our flight in, or other hotel amenities. The breakfast spread was top notch with tons of varieties and customizations! Recommend it highly if you’re planning on a visit to Colombo!

The staff here are extremely welcoming and attentive. That's the first thing that struck us as we walked into the hotel. While making conversation when checking in we mentioned to Carder the duty Manager that the reason for our stay was my wife's birthday. He very kindly upgraded us to a "Club" room on a high floor and had a small cake and card sent up to the room when we got in. Very touching gesture! The room was tastefully furnished, comfortable, clean and had all the modern amenities with a great view of the sea and part of the city. A perfect location for business or vacation!

I recently stayed at the Sheraton in Colombo. While the room was comfortable and the pool was amazing, I felt the music was a bit too loud and leaned heavily towards techno, which gave more of a beach club vibe—not what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with the food. We ordered Indian dishes, but both the naan and rice were served cold. When I pointed this out, the staff reacted poorly. It took 20 minutes for the hot naan to arrive and another 10 for the rice, by which point the rest of the food had gone cold.The staff apologized and assured us that the entire bill would be waived due to the inconvenience. However, at checkout, they only removed the cost of the rice and naan, charging us for the rest of the meal. To make matters worse, they were incredibly rude when we raised this issue.Overall, while some aspects of the stay were enjoyable, this experience left a sour taste and affected my overall impression of the hotel.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and exceptionally good, thank you. We enjoyed the room. It was very quite and very good beds and also very comfy bedsheets and linen! The gym is also very good, large and well equipped.

The restaurant was a bit slow, had to ask for water etc. a couple of times. However not bad.

In room dining staff is not properly trained. Ordered 2 times and both times they missed some stuff in order and that’s pretty low standard for a 5 star hotel

The music at breakfast was too loud and not good choices. Not appropriate. Something quiet and maybe sri lankan. Not 70s US
