The location of the hotel and the design, the restaurants and cafes are great.

The bathroom was a bit worn and the DJ played music to well past 10pm, which was quite loud.

Excellent service, clean spacious rooms, excellent food and location.

Overall, it is a nice hotel. We chose this as our last hotel during our month-long trip. Excellent greeting during check-in and respectful, which I appreciate. We booked a Superior room with Executive Lounge access (as we always do everywhere in the world). Shout out to Muhammed in the Lounge, who was helpful and polite. If he reads this, BIG THANK YOU!¨We decided to spend a lot of money on this property. We tried all the restaurants multiple times, the hair and SPA salon, and the bars.Everything was good except the Saloon (haircut, manicure, and pedicure). They tried to rip us off by paying cash (they told me it was not allowed to put it in the room). I did not get a good feeling about this.Special thanks to the reservation Manager that upgraded us to a better room. He understands what this is all about.Location is good, and the property is in good shape.

Horrible front office. The gentleman firstly doubted my words, and secondly, he tried to charge for things he should not have. Lastly, he denied everything, wasted my time, and embarrassed me in front of other guests and staff members. Extremely unprofessional and sad end of a really nice stay at the Kingsbury.My wife got food poisoning at the Sushi restaurant and had to go to the hospital. These two factors will affect our decision-making when we next visit Colombo.

The view was great with the ocean up front. The room was clean and decor was pristine white. The breakfast was a massive spread. The location was excellent, right at one end of the Galle Face promenade. Overall I liked it very much for our one night stay. We spent some time at the pool bar and it was nice.

There was a live performance at the pool bar but the lighting was such that one can't see the musicians. The lights are facing the guests and it blinds you almost.

The location is great and the staff super attentive to the client needs.

Maybe the music at the swimming pool, really not necessary!

The staff at the hotel was exceptionally great. The buffet in Christmas Eve was excellent and staff was very attentive and nice.

Conveniently located

Very nice hotel with lots of different restaurant options. Good location and close to Colombo Fort train station

The breakfast buffet was wonderful, but a little expensive. There was a bakery cafe that sufficed if one didn't want to pay for the big buffet. No a la carte menu at the restaurant. Beautiful pool area.

The location was close to the city's attractions.Breakfast was good. Usually all the foods are spicy. Transfer around the city by tuktuk is funny and available. Use "pick me" application.

We had a wonderful stay. We love the restaurants within the hotel. All the sites within close proximity of the hotel and many of the hotel employees. Mr. Mohamed was helpful and informative in the executive lounge. …We enjoyed the executive lounge as an add-on extra for one of the days. Also, at the front desk for both our check in and checkout Shimanthi was wonderful. She has a big welcoming smile. She was quick and efficient. She also was able to ask others to help us with other questions for our next stay in a month. Thank you all for a great stay.

Exceptionally helpful staff. The Duty Manager San was particularly helpful. Room, breakfast, location - are all good.

It's an excellent hotel and staff went out of its way to address my concern about loud music at the pool area lounge, which was difficult to ignore in the room. Location, restaurants, rooms are very good.

Our room was opposite the construction of a new elevator installation. We were moved on request. The rooms both needed refreshing

Service checking in, and in restaurants and bars, was incredibly slow and inefficient.

The best coffee we had in Sri Lanka (Churros Cafe in a ground floor), food was good also on a breakfast as in restaurants, nice pool with space as for big as for small ones.

Buffoonish staff, we went there to rest after a long flight - by night there were two parties in the building of hotel (pool area and rooftop) - the music was so loud that it didn’t let us sleep, DJ was playing loud music even though there was no one dancing by the pool. After checking out no answer for my questions (about staff that might be left in our room). Hotel rooms are very small, everything is a little bit damp because of humid air. In comparison with other hotels in this price range - no added value.
