In my many years stay in same hotel, this time we noticed the levelIs fully dropped and disgusting!

I must commend the hotel for its exceptional lobby and commendable customer service provided by every staff member, were friendly and helpful.

There were certain aspects of my stay that left me somewhat disappointed. Despite the hotel's cleanliness, the outdated furniture and fixtures in the room were a letdown, indicating a need for renovations. I found it necessary to request a bathmat, hand towel, and an iron, and though the housekeeping promptly fulfilled my requests, the ironing board they provided had a torn cover, which didn't live up to my expectations.Furthermore, I noticed that the curtains appeared unwashed and the carpets lacked freshness, suggesting that they were due for a thorough cleaning. It is my sincere belief that the hotel should prioritize updating and revitalizing its rooms to meet the standards of a five-star establishment. Regrettably, based on my experience, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to those seeking a true five-star hotel experience.

Good location.

Incompetent staff, dreadful customer service. Avoid staying here. It took 60mins to check-in, despite no other guests trying to check-in at the same time. The hotel lingers of an odour. And it's clear that the hotel is living on it's legacy perhaps from the 90s. Furniture and interior design is unbelievably outdated. This hotel may once have been 5* but today is 2* at best. We've stayed in guesthouses much better than this. Overall, very disappointing experience without the any charm of the friendly Sri Lankan hospitality we've experienced elsewhere.

Breakfast was awesome, choice of local cuisine & Indian, beside American bf. Location was very comfortable with seaview. I must say this is very old building & interior needs some refurbish. Otherwise all cool & comfort

Staff, location and food are great.

Had to ask for hand towels every day etc. Mattress needs to be replaced.

Meals were good and this is next to the Presidential Secretarial, very much central and next to Gall Face green.

Location is good

Main problem was no universal plug sockets for phone charging. Also no amenities and no sleepers.

Rooms were old, most of the power outlets were not working properly.Bathroom was not cleaned properly.Leaking taps. Breakfast buffet had very few selections and food does not taste well.

Dear foreigners / loving friendsI am a srilankan citizen. Our country is a very beautiful country and its people are very good people. But this country is exploiting by Rajapakshe dynasty. They have ruined our economy. Our citizens started a peaceful demonstration in capital Colombo. It is really a peaceful demonstration and democratic right of our people. But this hotel ownership conspired with that government and took action against those citizens.

Please don't visit this place. Help us to win our rights and save the country.

fantastic lobby , great happy hour at the bar and the room service was great. of course greatlocation too! Huge swimming pool and well price massages!

The property hasn’t been refurbished since what looks like the 80s so decor/furniture are old and faded but we still found it very comfortable!
