Marine Bay Colombo

Comfy bed, close to the sea, plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. No noise at all from neighbouring room.

Shabby around the edges. Room needs redecorating, lots of chipped, scuffed walls, and chairs in room need a good deep clean or replacement. Wardrobe was broken. Maintenance came and tried to help but the doors literally needed to be picked up and moved from side to side. No furniture on balcony so you cannot use it. Balcony door wouldn't open, maintenance wd40'd it, still tricky to open. Trains are pretty noisy as double glazed door not very well fitted. Would we stay again? Probably not

Staff were quite friendly and the hotel had an amazing sea view from the rooms. Hotel room was quite spacious and decent value for money.

Didn’t like the manager who immediately came to our room as soon as we checked in to pay for our stay. Bathrooms need to be cleaner when the guest first arrive. It had a bad stench.

Facilities Room and toilet needs renovationStaff need to be trained better. There was drilling sound in the morning in one of the days. Not taken care even after we complained. Average experience I would say, staying in the hotel.

Extremely nice staff. They helped us with our luggage, provided breakfast to go since we had to leave at 2:30am. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

It was located with good view on the ocean, and near a train stop. Several good restaurants and bars were near by

The restaurant was basic and it had no bar. No alcohol was available at all.

Right on sea front. New hotel so very clean.Quick check in process

All things not working yet. Restaurant seemed rudimentary. Plug points were different and multiplugs were not available.

Very well maintained and right in front of the main road over looking the sea.

The restaurant was inoperative which was a little inconvenience.

We only needed it to shower before we jumped on a flight.

There was a smell about the room which both my partner and I reacted to sneezing. No toilet paper and took about 30mins to check in.

I got a room with a slightly smelly bathroom and the water heater wasn't working properly.

It was clean, exactly like the pictures. The staff there were a 100000/10. I can't remember the receptionists name but he was a young intern that helped me check in and was there to advise me was an absolute gem and they are so lucky to have him. Everyone's customer service was impeccable. So friendly!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is great and right by the water. The room was very spacious.

The room and bathroom could have been cleaner as we noticed a few hairs and dust in the room. There was also no hairdryer and the tv did not work.

From the day one did not like the Room mostly the noise. Such low quality contractions can hear everything around. Even from next room. Bath room drain was blocked

Nothing also asked for Refund since can’t sleep due to to noice But no making excuses unreasonable. It was disappointing

Location is good as it's better value than many places which were only slightly norther, but there was enough restaurants and grocers around the area and super easy to get a pick me or uber to sitesWill definitely stay again if in Colombo

Room was dirty and unfinished. Comparing it to the pictures makes it disappointing. Tarusha from the reception however delivered great service - give him a raise

Staff could've been better otherwise overall stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Restaurant food prices were on the higher side.
