Food in general at The Graze was extremely unpleasant. I have not had food that bad in a long time. There is no upkeep from the staff either. The patrons leave lids open, food is getting cold, no one cares, looks super disgusting and dis-orientated. I am not exaggerating, I almost puked because of the taste of the food. The service is all over the place. You get sat down at a table, someone else comes and takes it, staff have no control over this. Lakmal who I met, was a very pleasant person to deal with.

I have stayed at many 5 star hotels, and never have I ever had the experience of walking to the gym or pool take 10mins. The facilities for this hotel are completely on the other side of the main building, which is fine, I can understand as it is in the heart of the main city. Now, we used the Pool there, and ordered one small meal (Veg Nachos). The total bill was circa 1200LKR. I did not carry my wallet with me because I was going to the pool, so I don't carry my wallet. 10 times out of 10, Hotels get you to sign a docket and it gets billed to your room, you sign for it. At the time of check out, you pay the final bill and it is cleared. Not at Hilton. They want a deposit apparently before you can buy and eat at the hotel. Which made 0 sense to me. Anyway, their process, I cannot change it. What was the most disappointing part - they never even mentioned this at our check in. So we were not made aware. Now, the person who was assisting me at Hilton, as they won't let me leave without paying the bill, was holding me there for 1200LKR, and said you need to pay, which means walk back to the room for over 10mins, then walk by for over 10mins, then walk back to the room again over 10mins. Ridiculous. This is not what you expect at a 5-star property, and food quality - Horrible... probably the worst nachos I have had, and service size vs. pricing - absolutely no correlation, ridiculous quantity. Servers were really nice, I appreciated their kindness, but nothing else was pleasant about this hotel. Also, this is not my first time having a bad experience with them. It happened last month when I travelled too. Staff is super un-organised, but more importantly, they just simply do not give a **** about your problems. You will get a nice simple 'Sorry' and that is all. Save your money, trust me, there is way better options than Hilton Colombo. I definitely will never be going back ever again. There is better hotels around for that sort of money.

We loved our stay! The hotel staff were always incredibly kind and courteous. Whenever we needed anything (for example, extra water), they quickly gave us what we needed. The food was AMAZING. The hotel assigned us room 1501. We loved that room! The room was massive and incredibly clean, the bed was super comfy, and the shower was heavenly.

Gym needs to be expanded

It was just an overnight stopover, but the breakfast was good.

We booked for 6 people but when we arrived at 2 am there were not the extra beds, so we went to sleep at 3. The hotel staff should be trained to count up to 6, They gave me bonus points to apologize.

Rooms were very clean. However was surprised the room has only a small carpet, & is not fully carpeted , that was very disappointing. Excellent staff - everyone ! Most delicious breakfast ! Location was very central.

Gym and pool are across the road. You need to cross an overhead foot bridge to get there. Nice gym

The well appointed room with sea views, dining options and exceptional staff throughout the property made the Hilton Colombo a memorable experience. The pool area and fitness center was superb and the hotel was well located near mall, business and commercial centers.

Couldn't fault anything

Amazing location - walking distance to a lot of places. Great staff - special mention to the bellboy Lanka who had a great attitude and coordinated with our driver to take us to some local eateries

It is an amazing hotel and the staff were very friendly and the food was very delicious. They quickly responded to all our requests.

I had really bad experience , reception staff totally arrogant , a trainee was handling my check inn and she was doing lot of mistakes , when the feed back was given to her she was so arrogant .the same feed back was given to manager at duty and he was not willing to listen . Room was booked with breakfast , they were trying to charge for the same . They never apologised for their rudeness , then just to make them realise I said if you think I am wrong, I can apologise . Still the response was negativeI think it’s not the fault of trainee but seems that there is no training programme for the employees . Manager was even worst . Around 11pm requested a pryer mat by calling reception, was not provided .

Sharply clean, the hotel has all the facilities you need in the room. Good location, good buffet breakfast. Beautiful hotel.
