Fabulous room with views of the ocean and city, tall ceilings, large bathroom.Foyer had wonderful Christmas decorations and suspended pool deck was amazing. Staff around the hotel and lobbies were friendly and helpful.

The laundry service has a peculiar lockable closet and keypad that is accessible from inside the room and the foyer.The laundry wasn't collected everyday and I had to ring reception to organise collection of same. The service at Peshwari restaurant was below average and it appeared they were understaffed and not well trained.

An exceptional hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff thank you Mr. Yousuf at the reception, you are a valuable asset for the hotel. The room was 7 stars. Breakfast was excellent.

It’s just a comment. Some of the restaurant staff need training on how to professionally serve the customers.

Absolutely everything! We were wholly surprised at how unexpectedly great this hotel was. The service was impeccable (the bathroom was cleaned everytime we left the room, without even asking!), with staff always checking in on us. The rooms and facilities were immaculate and beautiful and spacious. I had inadvertently booked a room that qualified for ITC Club status, and that gave us a free happy hour with drinks and snacks. The location is just across from the Galle Face area and beach - easy to talk to the mall and the water. The best part was the morning buffet. We’ve stayed at nice hotels like this before, but buffets of this caliber are usually not included in the price. It was here, and it had every food you can imagine and more. I have two teenage boys, and they set their alarms an hour early just to enjoy the food (and you know if you have teenage boys, very few things make them get out of bed early haha!). We found out later that this is a hip new place for morning brunch so locals also pay to come in the morning, so we were happy to know we got this as part of the hotel experience. All in all - we loved it and can’t recommend ITC more highly!

Nothing to dislike!

We spent 1 night in the hotel. We enjoyed the experience. The room was beautiful and had a very nice view. The hotel was clean and lovely decoration.

Excellent breakfast with a wonderful variety of options. Our dinner at Avartana was truly an unforgettable experience. The concierge staff—particularly the lady who assisted us several times—was outstanding and incredibly helpful. Overall, the entire team was warm, attentive, and consistently went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of.

Restaurants were good but over priced

We had an exceptional stay from start to finish. Everything about this hotel is designed to create calm, comfort and genuine hospitality, and it delivers this beautifully.Two members of staff in particular made our visit unforgettable.Kanchana was remarkable. From the moment we arrived he set the tone with his warmth, quiet efficiency and sincere care. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he anticipated our needs with a level of professionalism that is rare to find anywhere. He made us feel completely looked after throughout our stay.Ashwini was equally outstanding. Her kindness, attention to detail and natural grace added something very special to our experience. She brought such warmth to every interaction and her thoughtful approach made a real impression on us. She is a credit to the hotel.The setting, the rooms, the food and the ambience are all wonderful, but it is the staff who elevate this place from excellent to truly memorable. We left feeling rested, valued and genuinely cared for.We recommend this hotel without any hesitation and we look forward to returning. It is a place where service and hospitality are delivered with heart, and where people like Kanchana and Ashwini make all the difference.

The staff are kind and courteous.

We had a late check in round 8pm. We had some hiccups when we got the room. Luggages came after 50mins. We ordered some food. Instead of what we ordered we got something else and another minor issue. One of their staff came to meet us the next day and agreed upon discussion for a complimentary dinner. They never sent us the invitation or confirmed thereafter. Mostly indian cuisine at breakfast. Whilst they do taste good would have appreciated more of international cuisine.

My stay at ITC Colombo was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we checked in, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The staff are exceptional—always smiling, attentive, and genuinely eager to make your stay perfect. A special mention must go to Amanda, whose courteous and caring attitude made a lasting impression. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, making me feel truly valued as a guest.The rooms are modern, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. Every element—from the comfortable bedding to the smart technology—reflects luxury and thoughtful design. I was lucky to have a room overlooking both the sea and the lake, and the views were absolutely breathtaking.The breakfast buffet deserves a special highlight. It was one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere—an incredible spread featuring both local Sri Lankan delicacies, a lot of Indian and international favorites, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Overall, my experience at ITC Colombo was flawless. The combination of elegant interiors, exceptional dining, stunning views, and world-class hospitality makes it a true gem in Colombo. I left with wonderful memories and will definitely be returning soon.

Loved Everything!!!!!!

The Service is very personalized. The front Office team is exceptional. I like the fact that the hotel is very much environmentally friendly. The complementary Laundry service and happy hour for the executive rooms, just completes the icing on the cake. ITC is my second home, All other service , such as Housekeeping, and F&B are equally doing a great job.

The only thing i dint like, is that guests need to go through security each time they enter the hotel, obviously there must be good reasons for this.

The hotel was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the stuff were outstanding I did really enjoyed my stay at the hotel oh the room was amazing with all of that luxury equipment the balcony view another wold the best hotel in the city opened last year still brand new even the price affordable luxury mall just behind the hotel

Beautiful hotel in a great location! Rooms could be a little bit cleaner just in the attention to details. Sky Pool was closed when I was there, but there was another one for use. Staff were all lovely, special thanks to Sanju!

Everything was perfect as usual. This time, a special note of appreciation for the front desk team on duty July 7 and 8, morning shift. We needed to extend our stay, and they reconciled our incorrect booking with our current rooms and sorted it all out for us.
