Some smell inside the building and room

Have to pay for parking at every exit.Trying to eat noodles n finds it runs out during bfst but always informs top up is coming. Only last day I managed to get some before checking out.

Central location, near to many conveniences. Very spacious room.

Really nice hotel, 15 minutes from the airport (barring local traffic which we learned can be pretty bad). Rooms were nice and comfortbale. Standard rooms have no view (no windows). Location is right between waterfront and Gaya street (where lots of shops and dining options are located). There is a small parking lot, we chose to valet for 50RM for convenience but I don’t think it would have been an issue to self park. Food at restaurants on site was good and reasonably priced. A bit of advice – if you are a Hyatt rewards member (sign up is free) you will get 50% off at all restaurants at this location including room service, at least at the time of this review.

excellent hotel as can be expected with the Hyatt Group. especially to mention the pool bar and the extremely friendly barman Frenday and Simon, who attended top notch.Breakfast buffet with everything that one can think of...thanks to all..

The location and the service was good. Breakfast spread was also quite good as well.

The rug of the room is a bit dated and dusty.

The location is strategic, it is walking distance to many of the eateries and supermarket. You can also watch the sunset at the deck near the swimming pool. It is astonishing. The breakfast is amazing. The receptionist was very warm welcoming. The room is very comfortable.

We used the meeting room in the hotel. It was bad, the aircond was malfunction, operating from standing fan. The banquet staff doesn't keep an eye to clean up the plates after eating. The wifi is pretty slow. The TV in the room is on satelite tv with very blurred image despite it is a smart tv, youtube and other app are not available.

Concierge and Reception were friendly and helpful

Hotel interiors esp corridors seem dated and carpets worn out. There were dead cockroaches along the doorways.

Nice pool area, good spa, large room with sea view.

-Noise of the room facing the street-room carpet seems rundown-breakfast has no Chocolate spread(exp. nutella), the churros soggy-asked to warm up a bun,they put in the toaster instead of exp; steamer-Birthday cake and card is all prepared for surprise - expected more from Hyatt. exp:- Flowers or atlease signed personalised card.

Everything was wonderful. Staff was extremely helpful. Rooms were well appointed. Only thing is the hotel is old & it looks it's age.

Great stay , and even looked after our bags for the night while exploring sandakan and the urangantans ! Great staff so friendly

Location and room.

When we reached the room there was drinks in the mini bar and we went out for shopping but when we came back the mini bar was empty.My big concerned is why they removed those drinks? Safety wise, once we checked in unless we request for any service no is allowed to enter in our room and what if any of our important things gone missing?So, I want to grab a attention to Hyatt team to work on the for safety and privacy.

Love the location, it's convenient and quite central to everything.

The hotel is a bit old, but it's clean.

Location: Yes, it's close to the beach, but they gave me the worst room. Not even a city view—just a parking lot view with construction and noise all day and night. I couldn't even open the window.Room: Very average for a "5-star" hotel. I've found better rooms in 4-star hotels.Value for Money: 0

For KK it is excellently placed right by all the markets and easy to get to the islands from the ferry near by. The rooms are VAST and very comfortable. But the main thing is the FOOD. It is insanely good. We stayed during Ramadan and the evening buffet is unlike anything I have ever seen. I just can’t even describe how good it is.
