Monocolo Boutique Hotel

The Polo bun is really good. Enjoyed it every morning for our stay. So bummed we forgot to pick up the bun on the last day. Hotel staff is really friendly. Rooms is clean and in decent size. Kinda wish the room had a Luggage Rack, but otherwise all good.

Would prefer a bigger blanket as it was a bit too small :(

Parking a bit difficult but manageable.

Room is spacious, visibly clean, and comfortable. The friendly counter has really a quick check in process.

The uphill parking is a little difficult but rather minor issue.

Not really liking for me.

Water need to pay RM3/bottle which many hotels have already able to provide free. Power supply ran out during the time I check in at 4pm. The bed mattress is too soft and doesn’t feel like quality one.

Aircon needs to be serviced, not cold enough even though we have set to 16, cold and full fan

We faced a 2-3 hour power cut in the morning (which we understand is not the fault of the hotel), nonetheless it did dampen our mood during out stay as we would've liked to prepare to check out in the comfort of a lit room with aircon

Despite the scary looking empty houses next door... love the modern architecture of the building, located slightly uphill. The design of the Quarter was pretty too. Had breakfast during our 2nda day, the food wasn't bad, 15% discount voucher given upon check-in. Love the look of the guest toilet, with Dyson hairdryer (but was out of order). Staff in charge of our check-in and the one on night shift (before we checked out) were really nice to let us arrange for a surprise for my daughter's birthday in the lobby area at midnight (we promised not to be noisy hahaha :D)Postcards and magnets for sale (made locally) were beautiful, i decided to get 2 postcards upon checking out. No shade at the car park but was okay as it was really nearby.

My eldest daughter stayed in a separate room on our 1st night, the shower heater didn't seem to work well in the morning, but not really an issue. She eventually joined us in the bigger room for the rest of our stay :) but you probably should get it checked :)

It was only a short ride from the airport. The price is hard to beat. Not much to expect but you get what you paid for

A long hair was sitting in the bathroom sink when I arrived. It’s pretty bad that’s in a very obvious spot so it’s difficult to ignore. Other than that, no concerns.

The pillow is so fluffy and comfortable. The design of hotel is grand and the washroom design is good too.

The cleanliness of the walkway to lift should be improved.

Booked for 3pax room without breakfast. The bed was comfy, toilet was clean, the room is spacious for 3 of us and overall stay is comfy and superb. Easy to reach as the hotel is located beside of the main road. Parking also secured and private only for the guests.

I still love the smell of the hotel lobby, fast dealing with the check in/out, room is super nice feels premium and free parking
