I have stayed here 3 times before the pandemic. The Hotel has been decorated and altered particularly at ground level. The ground level toilets have been improved but are smaller.

The bar has gone, the complimentary toiletries have gone and the internal telephone system does not work. It was 2 days into my stay before the hot water system worked. The information for guests in the rooms were out of date. My room had a fridge that was automatically turned off whenever you went out. The on-site restaurant catered specifically for the Chinese -all signs and literature were in Mandarin. To contact reception and/or room service I had to take the lift down to the reception as the room phone did not work properly. The receptionist would then contact housekeeping by mobile phone.

I have stayed there a number of times and the housekeeper never do up my room only when I left. Toilet roll low never replaced. Free bottled water only once never given daily. Very shaky & loose tap head never replaced. Free shower fell empty never topped up. Wake up!

Reception Anne and Rashid are doing they job very well and friendly...will come back and stay for next vacation..?Room is spacious...and it's beyond my expectations..and it's convenient to go anywhere within walking distance...Thank you Kinabalu Daya Hotel...

very central location, bed was good, room had fridge, decent aircon, and not that noisy despite being on a big road

door would sometimes stick or have trouble closing. room did not have many outlets for chargers. the coat hangers in the closet could not be removed to hang up beach clothing in the shower to dry.

Location is good in the middle of Wisma Merdeka & Suria.

Air cond is leaking because too old.

Easy for me to find food.

Maybe can do something about the light, some of the rooms before were not that bright. Doing my online work, need brighter light.

Superb location! you can walk to pier, market, shopping mall in few minutes

Friendly staff. 1st when enter the room, the aircon not cool and functioning well. Hotel management replace it with another room. The hotel staff really helpful. Easy to access main attraction area around KK.

The location is good. there is a 24h restaurant down the hotel.

The hotel was in town. so the parking is quite limited

The smell of cigarette smoke in Non Smoking zone

The room (307) supposed to be NO smoking zone, may be due to poor ventilation or air circulation we can smell cigarette smoke once we came into the hotel room and its uncomfortable for us to stay longer in the hotel room since we bring our 6 months old baby. Also we found out that cigarette butt thrown from upper level and landed/ scattered at the external glass out of the hotel room window which i believe the smoke odor come from unextinguished cigarette butt. I hope the hotel management able to find solution with regards to our bad experience. It may happend to other guest and it could harm especially babies

Good hotel, located in the city centre and very near to the Merdeka and Suria shopping malls, food shops also many in the area.

All are perfect
