Friendly staff, good breakfast.

Walls in the room are paper thin also the idea of using an Ipad for every action in the room is annoying, when I want to relax and flip a switch to use TV or air con etc.This is not 4 star but a good clean budget 2 star hotel.

This hotel has an excellent location in Bukit Bintang - just a 2 minute walk from Jalan Alor and 10 minutes from Pavilion. The room is modern and is fully controlled via an iPad. The bed is huge and comfortable. Would stay again.

The bathroom could have a better design, but this isn't really an issue.

Opened in 2019, it still feels fresh, though light wear shows in some rooms.Location: Its Bukit Bintang address is unbeatable—close to public transport, shopping, street food, and Chinatown. Perfect for travellers who like walking and exploring.Design & Atmosphere: The exterior is bold and urban, while the interior blends playfulness with modern minimalism. The lobby feels like a stylish co-working space more than a typical hotel, encouraging mingling and relaxation.Check-In Experience: Fully self-service kiosks make check-in quick but impersonal. Staff are available and friendly, stepping in when needed.Rooms: Compact yet cleverly designed. The king bed is plush and dominates the room, ensuring great sleep quality. Everything runs on the tablet-based MoodPad, a fun touch for digital natives but potentially confusing for older guests. Energy-efficient design and strong Wi-Fi add to the convenience.Bathroom: Sleek and functional, with eco-friendly toiletries and signature ambient lighting. The open vanity layout might not appeal to everyone.Best For: Solo travellers or couples comfortable with tech who value location, design, and efficiency over space or old-school hospitality. Traditionalists, families, or those expecting full-service amenities may find it lacking.

What’s Missing: No in-room kettle or coffee setup—typical for the brand. Drinks and breakfast downstairs feel pricey compared to Kuala Lumpur’s affordable local options nearby.

Enjoyed a pleasant 3-day stay at citizenM Malaysia. Amazing location, comfortable rooms, and outstanding service. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommended!

The iPad concept is outdated, and should be abandoned. Not only does it take the iPad very long to start up even to do simple things such as lights, it has limited functionality. Want:- Buttons instead of iPad or iPad needs to be updated for instant availability- more storage in room for suitcases- water heater in the room

Location is good, lobby interior is nice with overall clean property

Alot of things were out of the place.1. Not much attractions within the hotel 2. Check in is not convenient and arriving at 1:52pm and they refuse to start the process as they only work 2pm which is really ridiculous when all the guests are just waiting there.3. Breakfast sucks RM 60 for such a limited breakfast was a disaster.

Really excellent stay! Best sleep I’ve had in a long time thanks to the blinds and the lighting system. It was perfect for one person. The decor and quirky touches were so cute and modern. I’d stay here again.

I’ve stayed here 3 times on my tip, and it’s getting better every time, the staff is amazing, helping me with lots of stuff, changing my room, locating left belongings, printing docs, etc.

Modern and contemporary style.

The Wash basin was in the room instead of the bathroom and bathroom was quite cramped

The hotel is very innovative, with rooms fully controlled by an iPad for air conditioning, blinds, and lighting. The lobby is comfortable, and the hotel has a full bar and restaurant. The location is excellent, near the end of Jalan Alor Night Market, with many nearby convenience stores, restaurants, and massage places. The staff were outstanding — friendly, helpful, and positive at all times, including the housekeeping team. The lobby décor is also beautiful and artistic.

There were no major issues during my stay. Guests who prefer a more traditional room setup may need some time to get used to the fully digital controls.
