W Kuala Lumpur

I had a fantastic stay at W Kuala Lumpur! The hotel’s décor is absolutely stunning — modern, stylish, and full of vibrant energy. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the rooms to the common areas. The team members were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast each morning was a delight, offering a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, international favorites, and fresh local specialties. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommended!

While my overall stay at W Kuala Lumpur was enjoyable, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The bathroom design was a bit uncomfortable — the door had no lock, and there was a visible gap that compromised privacy, especially when using the shower. Additionally, the room wasn’t very soundproof; I could hear noise from outside as well as the sound of water flowing through the pipes whenever guests in the rooms above used their bathroom. These issues affected the comfort and relaxation I was expecting from such a high-end hotel.

I like the vibes of this hotel. Could see youngsters people who manage this hotel. From manager, to front desk to chef at the kitchen. They were very friendly, helpful. I love their breakfast spread. They provide Malaysian breakfast and also western breakfast. So good!

We have bad experience during our check in but everything solved in time.

Great location, another great W hotel. Swimming pool is not big but the view from there is stunning.

Location and comfort.

The first night we could hear slight music from the DJ at the pool area. The next morning we requested a room change and the staff moved us up 10 floors. The staff is incredible, friendly, helpful and obviously trying to please the guests.

I loved the breakfast selection, so many choices to choose from it did not disappoint. The rooms were very clean.

My room was facing the bar and I couldn’t sleep coz of the noise. I paid a lot to sleep peacefully but turns out I had to bare the loud music till 2am. They also charged me for mix bar upon checkout which I didn’t touch at all and I realized this when I arrived home. That was an inconvenience for me coz I had to make few phone calls. I expected a better experience from a 5 star hotel.

We loved the service and food. The personnel were so sweet and helpful a specially the girl from night shift with orange hair and the guy at the ground lobby chya. Really impressed by the service so thoughtful.

Great friendly welcoming staff. Large rooms with comfy bed. Excellent room service whist soaking up the views.

The pool was incredible and a major highlight of our stay.Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with birthday decorations, including balloons and chocolates, which made the welcome truly memorable.The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and flawless in terms of comfort and cleanliness.The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring great sleep throughout the stay.The view of the city, including the Petronas Towers, was stunning and added to the overall experience.The hotel is exceptionally well-located, just a short walk from the iconic Petronas Towers, making it ideal for sightseeing.Bathroom amenities were of excellent quality.Room service was efficient, and the food was outstanding.Breakfast in the room was a delight, with impeccable presentation and flavor.

Noise was an issue on Saturday night, with loud music playing until late, making it hard to rest. Additionally, the Wet Deck was fully packed, leaving no space to enjoy a drink.On our second day, the room was not cleaned, and returning after a long day of sightseeing to find it in the same state was disappointing. However, the staff responded quickly, and the room was cleaned within an hour, though this delayed our evening plans and dinner reservations.We were eager to try the spa, but it was fully booked for two days after our arrival and closed on Monday, which was frustrating.Bathroom amenities were not consistently replenished daily, which was a minor inconvenience.It was not possible to arrange a late check-in, which was very frustrating. The reason given was that we had booked via Booking.com, which we did not find acceptable. Overall, while we are quite demanding (as residents of Dubai), the experience was memorable and satisfying, with only a few areas for improvement.

My stay at W Kuala Lumpur for a birthday staycation was fantastic. The hotel offers exceptional service with friendly and attentive staff. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The birthday dinner at Wet Deck was excellent, and the surprise at Flock with a birthday song and pancakes was a thoughtful and special touch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

A very warm and welcoming staff member, Syah, greeted guests downstairs. He would come up to help open the door, carry luggage, and greet you. The hotel elevators are spaced quite far apart, so I often missed them, but Syah would kindly hold the elevator for me to make sure I got in smoothly.Since I had to leave early in the mornings, I didn’t have time to dine in at their breakfast restaurant, so I requested to take my breakfast to go. On my last night, I finally had time to enjoy a sit-down breakfast, and the staff there were extremely welcoming. They offered to help pack some food for me, and even reminded me that certain items were included in the menu, asking if I’d like to try their signature set. They were very attentive, even asking what type of milk I preferred with my coffee. I especially remember a very thoughtful Malaysian gentleman who provided wonderful service. Many thanks to him for his hospitality.

I’d like to mention an interaction with a Chinese female staff member at the 8th-floor counter. On my second night, when I returned to the hotel, I went to the counter to explain that the socket in the TV cabinet in my room was installed too low, making it difficult to use. I asked her if I could borrow an extension cord.She immediately replied, “Our hotel doesn’t have any!” without even pausing to consider the request. Her response felt quite rude, and it seemed like she didn’t think through her words before speaking.

Breakfast was fantastic, taken to your table with a warm greeting. Then superb selection of foods to choose from. Cooked to order, high standard and delicious!Amazing staff in all areas, couldn't have felt more welcomed on arrival or at anytime other time. Loved the decor, views from the pool and generally everything!
