This hotel is a modern gem. It is well appointed, with a simple yet spacious design. We loved the quality of everything here. The gym (one of the best of any places I've traveled) and infinity pool area are amazing! Be sure to check out the Salt Sauna, Steam Room and Monsoon Shower experience in the locker room! 10/10! The staff at the hotel were incredible, especially the bell hop (NAIM) and door guys who ensured our stay was top-notch. They constantly checked in asking us if we needing any help. We also loved the location of this hotel. Easy to walk everywhere!

My only flaw here was watching one of the waiters at breakfast move clean glassware in the juice station from a tray to another but did so by grabbing the glassware from the top with his hands inside the glasses. This is not sanitary! Please address this with your staff. Staff should be moving all clean dishes from the bottom and nowhere near where a guest will be drinking from.

The hotel looked luxurious and clean, with an international food buffet.

I booked a room with three beds and even mentioned in a separate note that we needed a triple room. However, when we checked in, we were given a double room. The staff brought an extra bed and placed it in the corner, which took up most of the walking space and made it impossible for us to use the sofa in the room.When we asked to change the room and be given the proper triple room we had booked, or to be moved to a larger room, we were told that no rooms were available. We also asked for an explanation as to why they did not inform us about this issue at check-in, but we did not receive a clear answer.Another issue was that the staff member who assisted us during check-in was clearly very sick. He was constantly coughing and sneezing and was not wearing a mask, which made us feel uncomfortable.

Staff could use more training. Rang bell even if do not disturb was on. Also the hot water wasn’t working and wasn’t resolved.

Busy elevators also crowded. Smelly walk ways and you can hear the street noise easily.

1. Breakfast: they didn't include the breakfast....I am pretty when I searched, i searched fir hotels with breakfast2. I was extra charge 10 per night, total of 20, for some sort of tax, which booking.com didn't tell me about.

Quiet room! That one of my most important goals and that was met. It probably helped we were on a far corner room.

1: They really need a place to sit at the entrance for when you are waiting for a Grab ride. There isn't a single chair!! It did appear they have almost no elderly guests, and maybe we are just bad at timing things, but you never know if the ride will be there in 2 minutes or 10 before you click to order it (and even then traffic makes it more unpredictable) so it would be great to have a place to sit.2: We extended our stay and made 1 other alteration. This resulted in needing to get our keys changed 3 times!! There has to be a better way to handle that. 3: They could do a better job with the concierge service. The hours seemed limited compared to other nice hotels (Shangri-la) and there is only 1 guy it seems... though I was never sure who was the concierge because no one was ever at the desk, they just kind of mill about. The one time we asked for a service, which was a specific request of taking a short day trip we were told there was no flexibility in the outing and we'd be taken to places we didn't want to go. Maybe we didn't make it clear enough... but not all tourists are the same so they should do a better job of listening to the customer and trying to work with what they are interested in. 4: This one would be nearly impossible to change... but I wish they had an indoor pool in addition to the outdoor. We didn't get to test it because it was raining and the pool was closed. So a warmer indoor pool would be great! But alas, that would be hard to put into a building after the fact. 5: This is only about the location of the hotel. Very little is really walkable from this location if you aren't a fan of waking 20+ minutes in extreme heat. I would definitely pick a location outside the City Center next time. Somewhere with a bit more character.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff are very kind and cooperative.

The roof top bar was excellent albeit a bit pricey and offers great views of the KL skyline. Worth a visit one night for a drink and some photos.

Breakfast was good but not great with the staff being overloaded for the number of guests they had to look after. 3 mornings in a row we were asked if we would like a coffee only of it not to turn up. Not a big issue as we just helped ourselves, but it is something worth fixing.

Attend my friend wedding in the same hotel - food is good

View just ok - as we have blocked view for twin tower. Swimming pool not working - a bit disappointed.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and have great views of the city.

Sadly, the pool was closed our entire stay, but that is temporary.

GOOD LOCATION, EXCELLENT CITY VIEW FROM OUR ROOM. STAFF VERY HELPFUL.

WE HAD TRAVELLED VERY LIGHT AFTER BEING I THAILAND FOR 3 WEEKS PRIOR. WE WERE UNABLE TO VISIT THE SKY LOUNGE AS WE HADN'T BROUGHT ANY LONG TROUSERS BUT TOTALLY OUR FAULT FOR NOT READING THE RULES BEFORE LEAVING. THERE WASN'T MUCH SPACE AROUND THE POOL AND CHILDREN UNDER 16 WERE ALLOWED IN THE HOT TUB DESPITE CLEAR SIGNS STATING NO UNDER 16'S.

Everything at the hotel was beyond my expectations, the room was clean and big and above all the staff was so attending, polite and service minded. The staff at EQ is the best staff we have experienced ever at any hotel and we have traveled a lot. We had a room with the view to the Petrona towers, this was the best experience we had staying at a hotel. The choice at the breakfast were so many that will cover anybody’s taste. EQ is Highly recommended, the best 5 star hotel.

Luxurious hotel with so many complimentary items in the rooms, lush products and very comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast was amazing, as was the gym and spa. The staff we're definitely the highlight, so welcoming and helpful. Sabayon fine dining restaurant was an experience, the food and view of the towers was something we will never forget. Highly recommend! I have stayed at another 5 star hotel since and it does not compare to EQ at all. Thank you!!!

Could not fault anything!

Clean room with a great view of the petronas towers. Overall great location. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Enjoyed using the rooftop infinity pool and spa facilities.

Breakfast was just okay Food and drink options at the pool were limited.

The location is quite near to the Monorail station but too bad there was not lift at the station, need to carry the luggage and climb the stairs

I ordered a birthday room decoration, but when I checked into the room, the “happy Birthday” balloons were broken and dropped on the floor. The bedside lamp unable to switched off… called 2 times to the housekeeping, no answer, called front desk also no answer. Finally the front desk picked up the phone call and gave verbalinstruction how to off the light, but still not working. The front desk person came personally to the room and still failed to switch off the light. Finally they sent a technician to come and reset the main switch and the light finally able to switched off. The whole process took more than 30min to settle and this had disturb our bed time. The bathtub also not functioning well.

Location but experience was bad

Along with all other issues with service Till the last day they made our experience awful We called to take the luggage and they took forever Despite us reporting the matter they didn’t move an inchMy husband had to go 3 times to get the luggage.I actually raised a complaint about many other issues The TV, Wifi, delay In concierge, wrong food delivery 3 times no one bothered to contact me nor reverted on those matters.
