Reception staff and location

My recent stay at Dorsett Kuala Lumpur Residence was unfortunately very disappointing. It started with the security guard, who had no clue how to guide guests properly — a frustrating first impression. While the apartment itself was spacious, it was let down by poor cleanliness: the bed and tables were not properly cleaned, and housekeeping standards were well below expectations.The noise levels were another major issue. The windows are not soundproof at all, and we could hear constant traffic and noise from the street, making it very difficult to rest or relax.The only positive aspect of our stay was the friendly staff at the hotel reception and the central location. Apart from that, the experience was far from what I expected, and I cannot recommend this property to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur.

Spacious, clean, a well equipped kitchen and laundry. Helpful staff. Great location- close to the food market and a mall

Staff behaviour isn’t good. I called 10 times to reception but no one response… seems like they were ready to support Dorset residency part

Very roomy two bedroom/two bathroom apartment with large communal space and full kitchen.Location is very central to Bukit Bintang shops and restaurants.Daily clean was great.

Some wine glasses in the room would be nice.And a powerpoint in the bathroom would be handy.But otherwise, it was perfect for what we needed.

Great location, beautiful apartments with a nice view,and good breakfast. Highly recommend .

The location was fantastic.

Unfortunately our apartment was not comfortable even though it was clean. The corridors were old and smelly and the unit itself had a bad odour coming from the bathroom drains. We were on level 8 and could not sleep well due to the outside noise of vehicles. The problem was resolved when I complained and hence they offered us two interconnected rooms in the actual hotel, not the apartments next door. Overall the apartment was nice with a kitchen and dining room and a living area with a washing machine. The rooms were too small to even fit a suitcase in. If you do decide to stay in the apartment, ask for the higher floors if noise affects your sleep. If you're someone wjo enjoys luxury, this apartment is probably the wrong choice.

My stay at this hotel was simply outstanding. The view from windows was breathtaking,adding an extra touch of luxury to my stay. My heart felt thanks to the house keeping staff MR Yam for making my stay incredible ,comfortable and enjjoyble.Every single day my room was impeccable spotless clean.Yams attention to details was outstanding. From fresh linen sheets to the perfectly arrange toiletries .everything was well organised to perfection.The house keeping crew especially Yam take great pride in his work. Thanks to his hard work and dedication . I highly recomendation to this hotel to anyone looking for comfortable and pleasant experience. The Restaurant staff were amazing. Security staff were above and beyond expection. Very helpful.See you soon Dorsett Residence.

Bedroom slippers could be of better quality

The apartment was spacious and well equipped with a master bedroom and a balcony.location was ok, about 5 mins from the golden triangle, sungei wang and Berjaya Times Square.

A bit outdated, the bed in the second room was not comfortable, towels smelled a bit (not fresh) but apartment was cleaned everyday. Issue with water splashing outside when bathing, this is a hazard and could cause people to slip.Not enough food choice for foreigners.

Variety breakfast. Teh tarik was marvelous. But toast bread not my liking as went hard and tasteless

The apartment was good and has basic utensils Too cold and we were unable to control the temperature. It has narrow ramp and parking space luckily we drove small car but still need to reverse when we tool the ramp

Great location and space rooms. Bathtub is a great bonus.

Housekeeping (Yam Nepali boy) is very professional and helpful. i must thank for having such a good staff

the both gatekeeper was nice as well.helped in parking and guided the guest.

Located within Bukit Bintang, within walking distance to Pavillion KL (less than 10 minutes) and KLCC (30 minutes). 24-hour reception & security; professional courteous & attentive staff; clean accommodation; breakfast buffet offered good variety.

Traffic congestion during the weekends 10am to midnight. If needing drop off or pick up by taxi during this time, add 30 minutes into the travel time to get through the road congestion.

Location was brilliant. Easy walking to most lications, ie Pavillion, Jalan Aloor, Petronis Towers. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had a lively room, 2 bedroom for iur 4 person family. Awesome. Breakfasts were sensational.

I booked to booking in this hotel the first one they put me in the residence it was very bad place and it’s dirty I stay there one night it was not good then I ask them why you put me in the residence they said you booked for 2 room after that I booked in the hotel a Executive suite it was very good I want to thanks Mr. Syarif he was helpful and he help me to make the booking in the hotel

Location, cleanliness and staff

Lacking in utilities, no detergent provided, no wineglasses etc. There is a full kitchen and dining set but lack of kitchen utensils such as scissors. A dryer/washing machine but no detergent provided. No one is going to buy a full bottle of detergent for a couple of nights stay.
