The way to the hotel is quite confusing, a route guide to the train station before reaching the hotel would be appreciated

I really appreciated the warm hospitality from the staff - they were consistently friendly, attentive and helpful throughout my stay. The food was another highlight, offering a great variety and quality that made each meal enjoyable. The hotel’s facilities including the gym and common areas were well-maintained and added to the overall comfort and convenience of the stay. It was a great environment for a business trip with everything I needed easily accessible.

While most aspects of the stay were excellent, the bed was a bit of a letdown. It was softer than I prefer and compared to the firmer, more supportive beds at the Ritz-Carlton KL, it didn’t quite measure up in terms of sleep quality. This was a minor issue but noticeable enough to mention especially for someone who values a firm mattress for better rest.

The bathroom door is not a safe door as I hurt my finger and the entrance door knob is so tight. We had to call the hotel to help us in.

I always love staying at Sofitel around the world, especially Sofitel Damansara, everyone are nice there and respects privacy, and cleanliness is their priority, thank you and I will come back again as usual

The staff here are incredible, very welcoming and accomodating. Room was spacious and clean. A great pool, which was quiet so we often only had to share it with a handful of other guests.We also ate at the buffet for dinner on the first night. An incredible selection of sushi, meats, local cuisine and desserts. It was also priced very fairly, and we received a 15% discount as staying guests. Highly recommend, a quality hotel at a fair price!!

Location is a little bit out from the main city area, there are a couple smaller malls within walking distance but not a huge amount to do in the direct surroundings of the hotel, so expect to take a 15-20 min taxi to start your days.

Close by to most attractions. Quiet location

You would expect more for a 5 stars hotel. It’s quite disappointing for the services, room design (junior suite) and overall experience.

The location of the hotel is good, in front of pavillion damansara heights. The service was great as well

The hotel is dilapidated and had mouldy ceilings. The floor had a musty smell as well. Requested to change rooms in the end. No more carpet smell but still mouldy ceilings.

excellent rooms and very accommodating staff, and the very few ones that accommodates late checkout up to 1pm.

the pillows were rather flat and the bed springs could be felt for my room. hopefully the management have plans to change out the beds.

Was in KL to visit a relative staying in Damansara Heights, so the location was perfect.

The room was very dusty. A layer of dust could be found on every flat surface. There was a foul smell from the WC when we checked in, but went away after a few flushes. There was a fridge but no mini bar. The cabinet doors of the fridge was broken. The building is fairly new but it is in really bad condition. The car park walls were all marked, marble floors were really dull, metal finishings were not pristinely maintained. If this was a Mercure we would have accepted the conditions but not for Sofitel.

The room was fantastic, spacious, clean and very quiet for working and sleeping purposes.

There's room for improvement in the breakfast service. The quality of the food wasn't always great, and most things looked like they'd been sitting there a while. Access to the property was also challenging for taxis who mostly didn't know where they were going.

Seating area in lower lobby could do with some extra pillows or a designed additional back support for shorter people who want to lean back. :) can be uncomfortable.
