The cleanliness

Management, there was no electricity the whole night, there were noises, people were shouting and screaming due the electricity disruption. They said that they will refund the rent, but nothing has been done yet.

There's major renovation works ongoing and this wasn't informed to us.Room is dusty likely due to ongoing renovation works.Facilities such as swimming pool could not be used and there's no electricity for our rooms on the 2nd night until the next morning

The Eastin Hotel has a nice breakfast buffet with items from Western, Malay, Indian and Chinese cuisines. The Ee Chinese Restaurant at the hotel serves an excellent yum cha lunch as well as ala carte dinner dishes.

There are not many shops or restaurants nearby the hotel. However, this can be resolved with a quick taxi ride to nearby shopping malls. Please note that the hotel is currently undergoing some renovations.

The toilet got flooded due to some knob was loosen at the toilet bowl. Called for room service to clean up the toilet since it was all flooded since we were going out for dinner but by the time were back,nothing was done. So when i called the reception, the person on duty was rude enough to just say i just came in so i don't know. On Sunday morning, they started doing some renovation work so there were loud noise of drilling and hammering which actually drove off my parents to their relatives house just to get some peace and quiet. My kids was awaken due to that noise. Apparently they did put up the notice about the on going renovation work but verbally nothing was informed so we actually over looked the memo. If we knew the hotel was under goin renovation, we would definitely never book the rooms there. Don't u think u were suppose to put up this kind of info in booking.com as well for easy info for those who are doing booking through online and since payment was already been made online so we had to just stay. Overall, it was the worst experience ever for my entire family eventhough we were there just for a night. I wish I could reimburse this

Nothing is good (not a 5 star hotel)

The room is smelly! Everything is smelly, carpets, sheets, furniture. I found an old blood on sheets!!Very old TVs and boring with no movies. Reception wanted me to pay 50RM per hour because I wanted to check in 12pm! So I pay RM150 because Check in time is 3pm. Breakfast has no variety and I couldn’t find a table and tried find the staff to clean me one. Thankfully I booked only 1 night. I don’t recommend ( I rate it 3 stars only)

Many. Rooms are not noise proof. Traffic noise. Adjacent room noise. All can be heard throughout the night. Smart TV not functional. Breakfast was below average for such a hotel.

Room was very spacious. Nice and clean. Comfy beds.

Water kept switching from hot to cold consistently. I asked for robes to be sent to the room, the worse robes i've ever had in a hotel. Literally had holes all over, was dry and aged. Lets not start with the stains. For a 5 star hotel, very dissapointing.

Aging, the aircon in my room wouldn’t work. Change room mid night. Hotel extended nothing for my trouble :)

The first room we were given would not open. The second room was clean but there was no chain on the door. The air-conditioning took very long to get cold.

Very dusty room. The table are full of dust. Aircond is very old, need very long time to get the room cold. Even though set temp at 10 degree celcius, still no feeling of cold. Breakfast selection is very disappointing. The porridge is cold, not even warm. Bread is also cold and hard like stone. The waiters at restaurant also are not polite. Shouted at us for putting our luggage and bags inside restaurant. Bellboy at the entrance hotel just looked at u handling own luggage. Don't know what is the function of bellboy there,might as well don't hire bellboy.

Despite being around for more than 2 decade, the hotel definitely surprised me with its well-maintained facilities and building. We got the room with bathtub and I love the size of it. Also, the breakfast range is super good and the food were delicious. Kudos to the chef! I was really surprised. The last time I was in Eastin Hotel was back in early 2000 for our company's annual dinner. I highly recommend this place for its location and service. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

The foyer area on our floor (Level 13) has some musky carpet smell but it is expected. It was not too bad.

I checked in around 11 pm due to a delayed flight and expected the room to be in good condition. However, the air conditioning wasn’t cold, even when set to the lowest temperature. By midnight, I was too tired to call for assistance, but I woke up sweating at 4 am because the room was still warm. I hope Eastin can improve this for future guests.

The pillows were uncomfortable. One was too hard and the other one was too soft. Ended up having headache.

Great location and very quiet and friendly staff. I have been studying at this place every time I visit Kuala Lumpur for more than twenty years.

Property has no on premise laundry services and contractors can’t deliver same day services.Gym facility is needed to be maintained properly as guests cannot access to TV or AC easily.Breakfast items have reduced over the years and not much choices for fruits for guests.

Late invoicing. i have been waiting for weeks. The location is unstratergic. isolated from other places and attraction.
