Kingston Hotel 1 @ Bukit Bintang

The hotel is located in Bukit Bintang, surrounded by many places to explore. It’s easy to get around during the day. However, at night it can be very difficult to find a taxi to go out or come back to the hotel because the street gets extremely crowded with people.

The air conditioner in my room didn’t work. I told the reception, waited an hour, and nobody came. When I asked again, they said there was no technician, so they moved me to another room.The new room had no towels, and I had to go back to the old room to get them myself.Didn’t get to sleep until after midnight. Really bad experience.

Furniture is old and no refrigerator in room but room itself is quite large. Good internet.Can’t beat the location, in the heart of Bukit Bintang very close to Jalan Alor.Close to light rail and metroOnly thing I don’t like are their towels. They are not good and will not get you dry

the cleaness should improve

Near shops, lot10, jalan alor, restaurants, money changer..Air conditioner - too cold (i like)There's a lift!Laundry room, but need to buy token.

The location is one of the most advantageous, its near to entertainment, food and more. Jalan Alor is just a walk nearby, cafes nearby are excellent, 24hrs kedai mamak is nearby, 7e is across the street, Roti Cina Mon is jsut outside the door, at my 2nd stay i just discovered that patrons can use an open kitchen and laundry at the ground floor~but takes a looonnggg time to finish, took me 3 hours for laundry! but alas its an excellent location!

There was no TV, the renovation is ongoing when i was there. The laundry time is horrible, 3 hours to complete using em x_X

Near to food places

No towel and dirty bedsheets. When asked for it, the staff said I needed to wait because no towel and bedsheets were available. I got the towels and bedsheets at 8pm.

The benefit is only good location, good food around the hotels

There is no towels, shampoo, soap, bed mat, hairdryer. We have request to the receiptsionist but no one coming to our rooms. So make sure you bring by yourselves

I don’t have a chance to stay despite my advance booking

The Kingston 1 Hotel turned down our check-in, claiming they were fully booked, and referred us to another hotel that was drastically different and of much lower quality than what we had originally booked. To make matters worse, the new hotel also turned us away, stating they were under different ownership.This all happened at midnight, leaving two fatigued ladies without proper accommodation after an entire day of traveling. When we returned to Kingston 1 Hotel, they suggested we cancel the booking, saying it hadn’t been charged yet, but I was unable to do so.I am extremely disappointed with this experience and have lost confidence in Booking.com.I demand a full refund for this booking. We were left stranded at midnight, forced to walk around to find alternative accommodation after the Kingston 1 Hotel refused to honor our reservation. This is completely unacceptable and has caused us significant distress. I expect immediate action to rectify this situation.

Location very strategic

No remote tv. No hair dryer even i ask for many times. The towel did not absorb water at all. The bathroom not so clean. Check in hour at 3pm but the room still not ready at 4.30pm.

Location close to many attraction, train station, eateries.

The wall is thin, so it can get really noisy. You can hear next room conversation, tv etc etc. Some of the guest doenst know how to be quiet, slammed door, talking loudly in the hallway, laughing at 3am.. I barely able to sleep. So if youre light sleeper and sensitive to sound this place may not be for you.

Location was the best. Close to food and many other shops

Big flat screen TV but it doesn't work.

there no breakfast option and atm they are rebuilding everything if cud there's a small icebox in each room and hopefully the tv will work any time soon even tho for malaysian tv channel it wud be greatfull and hopefully sungei wang hotel or kingston hotel can do an make over :)

Good location and friendly staff.You can also rent motobikes here if you need one.I read a lot of comments that the WiFi was not good, but during my stay of 4 days I had reliable and fast internet without any issues. So seems they addressed that.

Furniture is a bit old but everything is clean as well as a comfy bed.

It was a great Trip just because of This hotel i was very anxious about my Trip and hustle of trips but they made it so easy i like atitude of staff ...atmoshphere was very delightful ..rooms were spacious you can have all.facilities by just asking to reception because staff is so nice and freindly to us (miss noor) helped alot in all issues over All it was great experience we will come again

Everything in this hotel On point they have very good team in there staff they are freindly to guest always there to help us.Nur you helped me alot thankyou sis.near food courts malls and eberything i can get there

Noisy at night

They took my deposit because of one hour late check out. After fighting with them they gave me half the deposit back.

Overall facilites, location more strategic. Staff(Dafi) is friendly and easy communicate.

I should give this hotel a low rating because they were really disappointing. I booked the hotel, travelled to Kuala Lumpur, and the moment I arrived in the airport they asked me what time my check in time is. I responded immediately and told them what time my estimated time of arrival. We have constant communication along the way until I reached the hotel. When I reached the hotel, the receptionist told me that there's is no room available, and she said they overbooked that day. She also said, "Find a hotel somewhere." I could not imagine that we have a conversation along the way and this thing happened. They didn't know the value of time and effort, and the preparations of the traveler to make their holidays smooth and enjoyable.

They should value their commitment and having a better communication between staff and supervisor.
