Swing & Pillows @ Petaling Street Kuala Lumpur

The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure, and the pillows were nice. That's literally it... Nothing else good about this hotel. My reservation was cancelled a few hours after checking-in, so they let me just leave for the price of deposit, 50 ringgit. That seemed fair.

Absolutely filthy, there was a giant rat in the lobby running around trying to escape. Luckily I had a payment mishap, as they're cashless and I had a problem with my debit card, and I was able to leave. The instant you get inside the stairwell to go to the lobby, it's damp, moist, smelly air. Stale, and disgusting. All the staff and guests in the lobby were just pouring sweat, disgusting. The room itself had no privacy, you could hear everything in the room next door, you could hear the front desk guys, the room had NO amenities (no soap, no shampoo, only a towel), no water in the room, and the judging by the state of the lobby I didn't trust the glasses in the room nor the water machine. There seem to be brothels or some weird sketchy little doorways along the path leading to and from the hotel, and the pimps are very aggressive and dangerous. Highly recommend NOT staying here or in this area. Also, the whole market is sketchy smelly men trying to sell you knock-off items. STAY AWAY!! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!!! GO TO OYO 761 down the road instead, they're much cleaner, more professional, and much safer. The staff was so phony and two-faced at this hotel as well, talking badly about me in Urdu because they thought I can't understand (I look Korean) and I understood every dirty word they said. Avoid this hotel. AVOID!

Hotel as usual was value for money

The staff by the name taufik/tawhid was extremely rude. He was too bossy. Kept on making my temper go up by giving me a stare and also was making annoying faces and rude comments. Management should reprimand him as guests will not return

Its in chinatown , near in the MRT, near the malls, petronas tower and central market. The staff are helpful. Great value for the price we paid.

Location and value for money

The staff,Tauhid or Taylor was very rude and condescending. He actually frowning the whole time while I was checking in. I even asked if he was OK or did something happen. It's a very unprofessional attitude.

We liked stuffWe liked the service staff because they were very helpful. The room had everything we needed and was clean. The location is great, on a street that has all the movement of Chinatown.

You have to pay 50 MYR for deposit for the keys, to get this money back in the morning you need to call somebody by phone. Problem start if you don't have a phone..

Except the noise coming from the street, which is totally normal due to thin walls & windows with no isolation, it was quite pleasant. Staff was helpful, they have responded to all of our needs. I can’t think of a better location for exploring the city, especially the China Town, Central Market and surrounding landmarks. It was close to the train station which helped us cut our expenses by a good amount. We would recommend for couples and single travellers with no high expectations but who looks for a price/performance stay.

The staff were nice. The room was clean with good matress.

Parts of the sheets on the bed were dated and quite dirty, there was no window in our room but didn’t bother us too much for the location

Location is perfect, in the middle of the chinatown.

There is no elevator from mainroad/door to lobby only stairs so you need to walk and carry luggage. You might experience loud noise if you have family with child near your room.

Nice short stay. The room was clean and came with a smart TV. The beds were comfy,staff were friendly and shower got warm quickly. Overall was good value for money.

Location for people who visit Chinatown area. Nearest MRT/LRT station ( Pasar Seni is 10-15 min walk) Good air conditioning. Many good options in the area around hotel but mainly Asian: Southeadt Asian)

No lift access from street level to 1st floor Lobby and a long flight of stairs to climb) would be a problem for elderly, disabled and those with heavy luggage.No fridge. Very basic bathroom amenities.
