Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur City Centre

There was nothing nice to say about this hotel! It is poorly run by an limited staff with hardly any professional experience. That's my view. I will NEVER NEVER book this hotel!

It was a very poorly kept hotel. When we stayed at Maya few years ago it was a very nice hotel. But now they have gone down beyond belief. * No Christmas eve dinner (in the past they had choir singing Christmas songs). We had to find another restaurant

not a 5 star hotel, 3 star is generous at best, building and hotel I'm decay, below average breakfast, rude security staff and front desk not helpful

A number of things were problematic. The room entrance door was a double door which wasn't secure because the fixed door wasn't actually fixed and could easily be pushed open even when the other door was locked. The door wouldn't close properly, so had to call somebody out. The toilets wouldn't flush so had to call somebody out-several times. The additional beds left little space so had to call somebody out to move them. 2 of the lifts were out of order.

The location was good

The rooms however lack privacy because there is an adjoining door to the next room and one can hear everything happening in the next room.

I liked the Location, the only positive thing about the property.

Rooms were stinky, not maintained, their air conditioner was not cooling, they had broken jet spray in the toilet, their bathtub tap was not working.It was not maintained like 5 star property. Just for a sake it is a 5 star property.

I love the big room provided, but its not properly maintain.

- No swimming pool for kids, which is a basic expectation for families staying at a hotel of this caliber.- The indoor kids' room lacked sufficient toys, making it an uninviting space for children to enjoy. - The furniture in the room was in poor condition and not well-maintained.- The TV provided was completely useless; I was unable to use it at all.- The water bottle in the room was not even filled. I had to go out to the public area to get water from the dispenser. This is not something I would expect from a 5-star hotel, where basic amenities should be provided without requiring guests to leave their rooms for something as simple as water.- The curtains on the windows were old and torn, which negatively impacted both the appearance and comfort of the room.- I had requested a complimentary birthday package, but the only gesture I received was a towel swan decoration. While I appreciate the effort, I was expecting a little more to make the occasion special. A simple slice of cake or something more thoughtful could have truly made the difference, and it’s not too much to ask for when trying to make your customers feel valued and happy.

The Location is great and the opposite have restaurant 24 hours, nearly KLCC walk around 5-10Min

The facilities were dilapidated and the bathtub looked flimsy and unusable. maybe near the road side a bit noisy

Rooms are spacious and the pool is great

The gym was so hot and uncomfortable and none of the machines had any power so couldn't do any cardio

Location is very central to KLCC and Petronis Towers. Mono rail line is 5 min walk.Room was very roomy for family of 4 and was clean. Facilities in the room were ok, TV was old and channel options were poor but didn't really need the TV any way. Fridge didn't work but hotel swapped it out for one that did. Breakfast was ok, variety of food was good.Hotel could do with a refresh as it's starting to look tired.

Lifts didn't work too well but hotel did advised they were being fixed during April.Some of the staff didn't have the best customer service skills.Hotel bars were crap and weren't opened when you wanted to sit and have a drink in the late arvo.

Bathtub was not usable because the taps were broken. Some lights in the room were not functioning. Drainage in the bathroom was congested.

Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur City Centre boasts a prime location, offering an excellent view of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers from the bedroom. The convenience of being within walking distance of major attractions enhances its appeal, and the staff, who were polite and cordial throughout, added a pleasant touch to the stay.

Despite the rooms being spacious, they seemed to need refurbishing, with outdated curtains and mattresses that could be replaced. Cleanliness was another issue, especially the mattresses and passageway on the 22nd floor, which had pigeon droppings and stained temporary flooring. Overall, these issues ruined the experience.Furthermore, the hotel's operational state wasn't great. Lifts were under construction or being repaired, so it was hard to get around. Another letdown was breakfast, which was served cold during our visit.

Breakfast was good but should have given more varaities. Cutlory was very clean. Fresh juices were served.

We had to fill our own water bottle from the filters. No minarel water bottles were provided to the room.

Walking distance to Petronas Twin Towers. Near to Food court.

The Toilet is quite transparent with only screen to cover. No lock to close in Toilet is quite disappointing.
