The swimming pool.

The hotel did not pay back the deposit amount I have paid during check in. Staff said it will be paid within 3 weeks but actually it is not.

Unfortunately, the attitude of the reception staff was not satisfactory. When requesting assistance or services, there was little willingness to help, and responses often felt uncooperative. Requests were usually handled only after repeated follow-ups and personal visits to the reception.This issue occurred during multiple stays, and it was particularly noticeable when the reservation was made through platforms such as Booking or other agents rather than directly with the hotel. From a guest’s perspective, the level of service and staff attitude should be consistent regardless of the booking method.

Infinity pool. Amazing. Room

Location in a very crowded area , taking taxi or going back took some time.

Everything was perfect. The pool is with amazing view. Breakfast is very good. Located in a walking distance to KL Tower and Petronas Twin towers.

Spacious unit, clean, nice bed, pillow,

Bit confused during the check in, no proper sign esp during peak n crowded time at the counter. Not sure which counter to go to (esp for 1st time guests). No air-conditioning inside the lift, corridor area while wtg for the lift. During peak time (checkout time) n holiday time, the lift takes so long. Luckily one of ur staff stays alert n knows we are already waiting for the lift quite sometimes... And show us an alternative lift to use.

Too crowded; it takes too long to arrive the elevators. The pool view is amazing but again too crowded and the water kind of dirty.

Loved the hotel’s style, very clean and welcoming. Staff were great, especially the man who helped us and clean our room A3503. Breakfast buffet and lunch were both delicious. Highly recommend!

The only downsides were that the infinity pool was crowded, and there was only one adapter in the room, making it hard to charge our phones and use the laptop at the same time.

Too crowdy

The room is big, bed are comfy, location is good.

A lot of whistling from the valley, too noisy and not needed. The receptionist forgot to give me back my passport when I checked out and she didn’t even contact me on my mobile or email me about it, I found out that I forgot it after I reached the airport in two hours, it caused me a hassle,they must be more professional about being proactive. If she only acted correctly she would saved me.Swimming pool is not used as a swimming pool, it is more as a photo session studio,a lot of young people taking pics,no privacy.

We have stayed at the Face Style 4 different times now and we have loved our stay every single time. It's in a prime location with so many things to do that are within walking distance. And driving/taxi distance as well. The hotel staff are some of the best, nicest, and most professional staff we have had the pleasure of interacting with at any hotel. For this stay specifically Wanyin who was one of the front desk hotel staff that I interacted with the most was amazing. She was so friendly, kind, helpful, and professional. The hotel itself is incredibly clean, up to date, and beautiful. Any room you get will have a nice view of the city. The rooms are a reasonable price, very spacious and come with nice amenities. The cleaning staff are very quick and efficient and they are consistent with keeping the property and grounds clean very well. We always stay for a week and cleaning crew kept our room clean consistently each day. The infinity pool up top is awesome as well. And the view from the top of the building is gorgeous. We haven't tried the Michelin star restaurant at the Face Style yet, but we will next time we are here. All in all every time we stay here we love and enjoy our experience every single time.

The only thing we have consistently not enjoyed at the Face Style is the breakfast. There is a breakfast buffet in the lobby. And it's a solid 3/5. Pretty mid. Nothing amazing or special to write home about. We tend to skip adding breakfast to our stay every time cause it's honestly not worth it. You can find a wide variety of breakfast restaurants and spots all around the city that are pretty close to Face Style, so adding breakfast for your stay until the menu is improved/tastes better isn't exactly worth it. The breakfast buffet is very well kept and clean. The food is stored and presented at the appropriate temperature. But the food is just very bland.

Hotel location, affordable prices and its infinity pool.Overall good experience.

The corridors are not ventilated at all and its very hot while walking, it feels uncomfortable at all to walk out of the room. Additionally, the housekeeping service is really bad, we stayed for 3 nights and the housekeeping cleaned our room for 1 time only, though we have requested them to clean while we’re out but we were surprised when we came back that the room was jot cleaned.

The location of this place is great. 10min walk to the Petronas towers. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Food was also good here and reasonably priced.The pool and views are amazing!

The pool gets very crowded at around 9/10pm with people queuing for photos and posing in outfit changes for the perfect Instagram picture. Dangerous amount of people stood on the edge trying desperately not to smile too much or go in any water!!

Disappointing

everything was ruined by the girl at the reception, her name was Amy. We wrote to booking.com that there was no early check-in so that they could check us in earlier for an extra fee, they confirmed everything to us. We went in tired, waited 10 minutes for her to be free, I explained to her that we had an early check-in, she said there were no free rooms. She rolled her eyes several times while we were talking. She said you can leave your things in the storage room, which is located just behind the reception, and you had to wait for a man, 10 minutes pass, I go up to the girl again and say. We have a long wait now, now, and in the end. We waited 40 months, I went up 6 times. And in the end I started arguing with her and she took the suitcases and it took 20 seconds. The impression and mood were ruined immediately

Really nice, spacious room and good location. Pool had an amazing view.

Almost everything could have been better. Where to start - although meant to be a 5 star hotel, you have to pay a deposit to get a second room card. They only give bath towels, no hand towels. I had to ask three times. Each day I had to ask at least three times to get the bed made/room cleaned and for fresh water. The hotel is massive, and super busy, like staying at Heathrow airport and service really suffered. The pool beds were filthy, really off-putting and you can’t even get drinks there. Breakfast overwhelmingly favoured Asian palates.

Location is good. Room size is great. Good views.

This is not by way of complaint. Just some observations here so people know what they’re getting themselves into.This is really a 2.5 or 3 star hotel that looks like a 4 star hotel because it looks fresh and has an Instagram pool.The pool looks nice but is actually impractical. In one of the buildings there is no bar by the pool so you go all the way to the 51st floor to the pool and then you have no access to refreshments. You also cannot adjust the loungers. They are practically horizontal. So you cannot really sit and read a book, for example, at that angle. You also have to sign in - TWICE! Once to be allowed to be near the pool. And another time to get a towel. Why twice, please, hotel manager? And , because the pool is impractical and clearly they are worried that there will be a bad accident, you to have to listen to the security guard blowing his whistle all the live long day to stop people from having fun in the pool. It’s not that relaxing to have someone belting their whistle the whole time when you’re at the pool on holiday… time for a rethink I would suggest, hotel managers.As mentioned by many people here - the lifts are too busy and too slow. Not enough to service such a big building.My room was not made up all day even though I had the sign indicating to make up the room. I had to call reception to ask them to do so at 5pm. When I called I asked them if they had any hand towels because there were none in the room. They said yes and that they would provide. But no hand towels were provided at all during my whole stay.After I left the pool to get refreshments one day, I was in the ground floor restaurant. They had sold out of the drink I wanted. So I sat down in the empty restaurant with all the empty tables for a few minutes reading my book (remember I couldn’t read my book on the roof because the loungers are horizontal and don’t adjust). Then I got kicked out of the empty restaurant by the waiter for not ordering anything.

We booked a 2-bedroom unit, so the price isn’t considered cheap for a hotel in Malaysia, but the size of the place was way bigger than expected, with a large living room/dining area, a little kitchen which was equipped, along with a washer+dryer (1 small pack of detergent was provided). The place was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast was definitely decent. Was about a 5-minute walk to the monorail station, which was convenient.

The downside of the room is that it’s not made to accomodate young children, so my younger kid could not reach the sink and shampoo/soap dispensers in the toilet. The other thing was that our room was facing the main road, and there were motorcycles speeding along it in the middle of the night with extremely loud (and slightly scary) revving of the engines, which woke some of us up from sleep (rooms on the other side may have been better).

Hotel is nice from outside.

Unfortunately, our stay was far from pleasant. We had to change rooms three times because every single one had the same strong, musty mold smell. It was overwhelming and made it impossible to feel comfortable. Clearly, this isn’t an isolated issue but something affecting multiple rooms, which is really concerning. We expected better maintenance and cleanliness, especially for the price. The staff was polite but couldn’t offer a solution beyond moving me to yet another room with the same problem. Very disappointing experience overall.
