    Pros +

    • Location is very good if you want to go to opposite for work. Walking distance. Got a lot of food downstairs. But the hotel is really cannot make it. This is my first time staying there. The staffs and breakfast really cannot make it at all. Hotel should be rated 1 star instead of 4 stars.
    • The stuff was very welcomy and warm special thanks to Ms. Zarina who handled our minor issue with high level of professionality and tried her best to make our stay remarkable
    • Great value for price. Breakfasts were very good. The location is fine, not KLCC, but 8-10 minutes on taxi, which is affordable in KL. Overall great stay and great views. The staff very kind and we enjoyed the experience. Thank you!

    Cons -

    • Breakfast - only egg can eat, the rest of the food cannot taste. Even the breads.Better go downstairs to have a good breakfast.Forget about the "Free" breakfast you have.Don't buy the hotel breakfast. One important thing is Mercure management wrote this below. As your booking was made via a third-party travel website, some requests and arrangements are subject to the policies of the booking platform.=> I didn't request anything.=> meaning need to get the room from direct booking from their website, cannot get through Booking.com.Below is the Summary of what I encountered.I saw this Skyline viewing access and i asked the receptionist during my check in. He told me to and wait at the reception at 750 pm, and the security will bring me up. I was there on time and told the receptionist and he asked me to sit around and wait. I approached the receptionist a few times and not sure what happened as only me was waiting there. From 7:50 pm, i waited till 8:31 pm. I was angry at that time, and I approached the receptionist the last time. Then he told me to go to the lift lobby and wait. i waited another 5 minutes to 8:36 pm. This time i approached the receptionist and asked if don't have, don't waste my time. Then, you know what, he told me he called the Security and he asked me to go to 55 Floor. The Security will bring me up. Funny, why he cannot ask me to go up and look for the Security and asked me to wait there for more than half an hour???Shower Water is very hot after turned on for more than 5 minutes. There is NO cold water. There is NO drinking water. The receptionist didn't even inform me. Later than i saw the dispensers beside the water basin. The water is warm and no cold water. The breakfast - No breads, the noodles is so salty. Is it for human to eat?I was there around 8am, almost empty, no top up.Plates never keep all over the tables.I saw China tour group there. Is this how they treat Tourist ?
    • Location is bit far from Klcc
    • It took quite a bit of time before hot water actually flowed through the pipes in the shower. In my opinion, if this could be improved somehow, it would be another plus point besides the water filter.

Friendly and helpful staff - from the front desk to the housekeeping to security guards. The family room we had was perfect as well. Loved the availability of a water filter in the room. The location of the hotel is also good. Marts, restaurant and cafes are nearby

It took quite a bit of time before hot water actually flowed through the pipes in the shower. In my opinion, if this could be improved somehow, it would be another plus point besides the water filter.

The room is clean. The environment is cozy and not packed with many tourists.

The experience fell far below reasonable expectations for a hotel of your standard. At approximately 9:00 AM, I entered the dining area to find a limited selection of food, with 20% of dishes already depleted (e.g., empty trays). Despite the breakfast service ending at 10:30 AM, no proactive refills were made. After informing the manager at 9:15 AM about the lack of replenishment, only fried rice and cornflakes were partially restocked by 9:30 AM—neglecting the entire Western section. The Western menu, already minimal (pancakes, waffles, cakes, and croissants), was reduced to only croissants with no visible effort to refill other items. Despite a second feedback request, I waited 20 minutes without receiving a single pancake, rendering the breakfast service unacceptable. I expect compensation for this inconvenience (e.g., refund/credit) and assurance that corrective measures will be implemented.

The location of the hotel is easily accessible and the view is breathtaking. The room is comforting and clean.

The food needs to improve. Most of the time it was slow to be refilled and lacked variety.

New hotel, better decor than at Shaw ParadeLocation is breath taking

Size of the double bed room was very smallBathroom is very small, had to struggle opening the main door then the shower door to go to the toilet.

    Good

the free wifi was spotty, available, not available, available, not available. annoying. especially when I was in a biz call. not cool at all.then, the first morning I had yoghurt w/ my fruits, the second morning your hotel was OUT OF YOGHURT!!! how can a hotel like Mercure run out of yoghurt????and air con in the way to the rooms and in the lift would be needed.

the food at the cafe is delicious, room cleanliness is superb and very comfortable. The best part is their body lotion, shower gel & shampoo, love the soothing smell ?

Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were friendly and good

The restaurant had many of their options unavailable and we waiting an hour to receive food after making an order.

    9LeePosted on: 4-6-2025

Highly recommended for those who plan to stay in KL. Although it's not located in the KL city centre, but it's easy to travel to everywhere with e-hailing. The room is decent and new. There are restaurants and convenience stores (including 7-11) nearby. However, the breakfast is not really nice, but it's not a big deal as travelling in Malaysia is meant to enjoy different good foods out there.

    8BenaiferPosted on: 4-5-2025

We were checked in a little early and allowed to check out an hour later.

The bathroom design.Difficult to enter and close the door. The hot water problem still has not been solved.had read other reviews and faced the same. The hot water can burn guests if they are not careful.

    9AmerendranPosted on: 4-4-2025

Breakfast was good and hotel at strategic location, easy access to the KL city.

The mini portable Coffee Machine inside the room was dirty. When I try flush the Machine before making a cup of coffee , found the leftover or uncleaned coffee powder in the pipe line keep pours into coffee mug with unpleasant smell. Hope the in charge person look into this matter yaa. Thanks.

No supply with drinking water, and the room is very small

    The breakfast is very good

    5Weh80Posted on: 3-24-2025

    Passable

The room included breakfast, but the staff did not mention it upon check-in. When I inquired again, they confirmed that breakfast was included. However, the next day, when I approached the café, my name was not on the list. After further inquiry, they acknowledged that the room included breakfast. Poor coordination.Additionally, the shower water was inconsistent—sometimes hot, sometimes cold.

    Affordable price for rooms.

The soundproofing is not very good, and the sound of the corridor can be heard.

    8AnnaPosted on: 3-14-2025

Good view, quite convenient location, small but comfortable room.

Some interior solutions are controversial and not very convenient. The details in the bathroom are a bit tired.

    8Anarin74Posted on: 3-10-2025

Good nice hotel but I was surprised by high skyscrapers elevators. Good noise protection. I was impressed with breakfast broad selection of meals but with 8 march celebrations dinner realized it had menu not suitable for foreigners. A bit spicy meals so we had to order pizza it was very delicious.

Quite far from airport. Bathroom walls had 2-3 black hair on the wall could you please ask your staff next time to check cleaning bathroom conditions more thoroughly. Toilet room door a bit uncomfortable to get in and out. Too small space
