    Cons -

    • Efforts should be given to cleanliness of room - table, counter not wiped. Toilet roll quality could be improved - rolls are very small and thin.
    • Shelly always happy to give exceptional service helps with money changing, tourest info, transport, and general information Rooms are clean and serviced daily service staff
    • can't setting the swing of aircon. The only thing that can be setting is temperature and fan. I hate that the wind is facing the bed and dry out your face, the sound is too loud.

The location was ideal for walking around China town and central market. Walking distance to MRT Pasir Seni.. We never had breakfast as we had to leave at 7am ( they did give us a small takeaway breakfast, choice of sandwiches or a bigger meal..we chose the sandwiches). Room was fine for one night,,, Comfortable and clean... Reasonable view also. Checking in and out was perfect and the staff were so polite and helpful.

Small faults, Our room was across from what looked like the staff room for relaxing, so could hear occasional chatter from them... I booked an early morning alarm call at 0615hrs as we had to leave at 7am.. The call never happened....Fortunately we set the alarm also on our phones.

    Location was perfect for exploring.

The breakfast wasn’t great, no choice of eggs, no omelettes and no pastries

    Good location. Large, clean room.

    Poor, buffet breakfast.

    7ChristopherPosted on: 2-21-2025

Close to Chinatown and a 20 minute walk from Bukit Bintan and the shopping centres. Room was adequate and breakfast was fine.

. On the whole, a positive experience for the price.

If you only care about location and nothing else, it might be an option. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The only good thing about The 5 Elements Hotel is its location—right in the heart of Chinatown, with easy access to food and attractions.Other than that, the experience was disappointing. The rooms are small and have a bad smell, making the stay uncomfortable. There are no proper amenities, and the overall maintenance could be much better. The worst part was the breakfast—very, very bad with limited options and poor quality. If you only care about location and nothing else, it might be an option. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room is clean but since we got the connection room, room beside me is so noisy. I suggest room with not connection room. Near Chinatown n have a lot of food.

15.00 pm check in, my room should available but when I arrived my room at 15.30 pm the cleaner still inside my room. Then said my room is wrong room n make us move to another room (I brought my mom to hospital at KL n make us move around is not comfortable at all) But since everything handle by their team is good. All is sort out

Reasonably quiet - my room seemed to have an adjoining room that was locked off but could hear the people in it talking as if they were in my room. Nice room, comfortable bed, great views from the 14th floor.

Breakfast was a bit poor. Not really much effort made. Some processed meats, rice and noodles etc. Had it once and then then ignored it.

The room is nice and comfy, just stay for one night.

Hard to find parking, and no free parking for the hotel. You need to park below the hotel car park at an expensive rate. The Key card for the room is always not activated until I have to go down 3 times since it can't open the door.

It was a good location in the middle of China Town and close to many resturants. The views from my room was also quite nice. It was also close to public transport.

The room felt dated, and the checking in process was quite slow. Breakfast was too simple and not necesserily that tasty, and because of the setup other guests were very sloppy. The first day I was a bit off-put by finding actual butter in the peanut butter. The warm dishes were cold if you weren't lucky to arrive when the food arrived.

    8VaruneshPosted on: 1-1-2025

The location is very close to ton of resturants and main China Town market. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and polite.

We were disappointed with the breakfast options. The variety was very limited, and the same items were served for four days in a row. Additionally, the nearby clubs played loud music until 2 AM, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We are regulars of the hotel since more than 2 decades ago. Always a delight to be there as its in the heart of Petaling street. Breakfast was great and we had a good time staying at 5 Elements. We will be back as usual

    9NagabhushanPosted on: 12-26-2024

Hotel is conveniently located, close to the city center and close to the MRT, Petaling street. The staff at the reception were very helpful and courteous. We got good tips from them about the local travel. The hotel held on to our baggage in their storage for 3 days when we were away to Langkawi. They also boked us a large van taxi to the airport (we had many bags), very early in the morning for a very reasonable price.

Breakfast lacked variety as it was almost the same every day. Instructions were missing in the room how to contact the reception using the phone in the room.

Good location and very friendly staffs.

The property is aging. Should consider upgrading their furnitures and bedding sheets and covers.
