Charged an extra 10 MYR on arrival for tourism tax although I had already paid it through booking.com. Got it back when checking out when I queried it. Long black hair in the bed. Noisy old air conditioning unit. The outside aircon unit rattled all night. Uncomfortable bed. Old and dated. Whole place needs a good clean.

The location was very convenient. Staff were very helpful regarding the hotel, not as helpful with general queries about the area.

2 small cockroaches in the room on the first night. The room smelt heavily of cigarettes even after leaving the window open. Very small room, bumped into furniture and fittings constantly. The bathroom was small resulting in the shower soaking the toilet during use.

Hotel phone was not working throughout our stay even though we had complained about it several times. Air con was very warm - no cool air. TV was also faulty and was not even supplied with a control.

The location of the property is excellent, directly in the centre of Chinatown and only a short walk from multiple metro stations.The daytime staff at the property are also lovely and very accommodating. Upon arrival we were met with smiles, and we were greeted kindly every time we returned to the hotel. When we had issue with one of our rooms, some of the staff were very helpful in moving us to a new room.

The first room we stayed in had dozens of bugs living in the desk and several of them got into our bags. The air-con also didn’t work properly so the room was extremely hot at all times.When we were moved rooms there were no bugs and the air-con worked; however, there did seem to be something like blood splattered on the shower curtain.

The location is very good so many food stall near,price is good

Not very clean , the pillow smell cigarette, second day morning there is no water .

Bed smell

The room has a weird smell, and the bed has some black dots on it and you can feel it is not clean

The location here is great, we were on the 6th floor so weren't disrupted by the busy street below. The aircon and wifi both worked well and it was clean enough despite everything being quite old and dated.

The room was very small, it also had a CRT television in the room which was very big and bulky and didn't even work great so was just making the room feel more busy. There were also some questionable stains on the bedding and towels and branding on the towels that made it feel more like a prison than a hotel.

Location is brilliant with many eating places, the night market and public transport links all nearby. Staff were quiet but friendly. Had a lot of character, I liked the fact that the entrance was always crowded, food stalls were right at the door. View of Street from the balcony was constant entertainment. The room had been recently part painted but the hotel decor seemed old and tired but again looked like it fitted perfectly into the area. Great air conditioning

Had to kill half a dozen small cockroaches in the first couple of days. The shower sprayed water everywhere but was hot and constant under the spray. Air conditioner run off pipe emptied across the wet room floor.

Great price, clean, comfy bed, natural light and a balcony. Nice staff. Great location close to many food places and bus/train stations

Shower head is non existent, just a stream of water. Needs replacement.

Right in Chinatown, 1 street away from the noisy Petaling Street. Hard to find comparable budget room at similar price range & if one isn’t too particular with aged room but contend enough with a good working aircon, hot shower and basic amenities.

Old building but clean and very good location.

I arrived at 1am with an online booking, and the man at the reception was very rude asking for a printed form and almost shouting at me. He should not be working with clients.

We have stayed at multiple budget places in KL and this was my favourite. Very clean and pleasant. Walkable part of town.

The only thing that I can say was good about this hotel was the location. It's centrally located in KL Chinatown right across from the night market.

The room was small and cramped The A/C was minimally effective and blew out dusty air because I dont think they clean the filters often. The hotel itself is not very clean and there are people smoking in the hallways despite the obvious no smoking signs. It's also loud at night.
