    Pros +

    • Cheaper with good hospitality
    • The bedroom is quite bigger than I expected, and everything was clean. I didn't have any issues with noise from the street.
    • no breakfast - sound from back alley - noisy

    Cons -

    • The location is terrible! As a solo traveler, I was a bit scared when I got there by myself. I didn't have any issues related to my safety, but I would avoid that region if I were alone.
    • sound fm back alley - no car park
    • Too loud in the morning, I think because of people check out and staffs have to check and clean the room. The location is a bit far from monorail.

    Clean, nice staff, good price

Too loud in the morning, I think because of people check out and staffs have to check and clean the room. The location is a bit far from monorail.

Everything is well taken care of, the rooms are nice and cleaned as often as requested. The hotel has spaceous and comfortable lounge room suitable both for leisure and work. All the staff is nice, polite and always helpful. For the price it's an absolute bargain.

The location isn't exactly a hot spot, but there's everything you might need right next door, 7-11, restaurants, pharmacy opposite, gas station and plenty of small shops. It's a walking distance to MRL station and Quill City Mall.

I checked in late (around 9–10 PM) after arriving from Singapore by bus. The reception was still open, and the staff was really nice and helpful when I asked a few touristy questions. Just a heads-up — they ask for a 50 MYR cash deposit at check-in (refundable at checkout), so be sure to have some on hand. After staying in hostels on previous trips, having my own private room and bathroom felt like a luxury! The room had a water heater, a bidet (though I wasn’t familiar with that type — turns out you have to twist the hook where the bidet is hanging to use it ?), and two complimentary water bottles that were replenished when I requested housekeeping on my third day. Towels were also changed then. There’s a water refill station just outside the elevator, which was super convenient!Location-wise, I think the green line monorail was about a 10-minute walk away. There were also some thrift stalls near the hotel on the way to the monorail. One day, I walked all the way from the Petronas Twin Towers to the hotel (would be around 20-25 minutes if you don't stop for pictures or food) — I passed the Saloma Link Bridge, Kampong Bharu (lots of local food stalls!), and even a small farmer’s market. It was a really enjoyable walk and gave me a better feel for the city. One thing I regret was not checking out their lounge or common area — it looked really nice from above, but I never got around to actually visiting it. I heard there were massage chairs too ?

The soundproofing could be better. I could hear some noise from the room next door (though not full conversations), and especially from outside — cars, trains, motorcycles, trucks. Personally, I’m fine sleeping with background noise, but for light sleepers, just be aware. Also, on my third night, there was a sudden power outage in my room. I called the receptionist, and it turned out something in the fuse box had broken. Thankfully, their technician was quick to respond, and they had the part needed to fix it, so everything was back to normal in around 30-40 minutes. I wasn’t charged for anything, but it was just bad timing since I was already exhausted and ready to rest.

Didn't expect such comfort for such a cheap price, it feels like a 4-star hotel. Clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The front desk staff were also very friendly, generous with smiles, and very helpful. The only downside is that parking isn't available in front of the hotel, but guests can park at the paid parking area next to Bank Muamalat. It's not far from the hotel and it's safe. Next trip will book again

The café is closed due to a change in management. It is suggested that the hotel reopens the café to make it easier for guests to get breakfast.

The hotel is good. But if you stay in a room with windows, you will never sleep well. There is no soundproofing at all. All the noise from the street is in your room. Mopeds, garbage trucks at 7am, the train. So, take “no windows” room.

Best hotel from where all places can reach out.Good behaviour of your behaviour. Very cordial. ☺️

You can provide another 2 bottles of water on the 2nd day. That's all.

Good location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and Chinatown. The staff were helpful.

There was a leak in the bathroom that caused a puddle on the floor. I asked the staff to get it fixed. They said it was. It wasn't and told them that. Maybe it was a lack of English. The breakfast, which you have to pay extra for, was subpar. I tried to get a refund but it was denied.

    Convenient location, clean rooms,

Definitely not a 4star hotel. Don’t offer any simple amenities such as toothbrush or toothpaste. When we wanted to check out staff was sleeping and it took us 10 minutes to wake him up.

The only that was good was the price, thank god I only stayed one night. Common area is somewhat nice and cosy.

All the pictures are deceptive, it's very old and not well maintained. They left the bathroom wet when I checked in, and the bathroom looks like it was out of a horror film // see through, stark white blue lighting. I had a hole in the wall where the reading lamp was supposed to be. Lobby is dirty and nothing like the photos. It's loud outside and the building across has strobing neon lights. The common area downstairs has a bathroom that's also has wet floors, very dirty. They keep the lights off in the common area if they aren't being used, it looks very unwelcoming at first glance.

Only location was good for all city sight seings around.

Firstly there was a problem with room, it was not as clear as described in information about a hotel. Also room had a double door which is connected with another room.

    8Barbara G.Posted on: 9-11-2024

There is a water dispenser on the first floor, in this way you can reduce single-use plastic bottles.

Breakfast is more like a fast-food type. If you like to eat savory then it´s ok for you. Also the only beverages you´ll find are coffee and tea; if you want milk, water or juice you need to pay extra.

    Clean room

Room service , no privacy between the rooms because of the inside door between them .

    2SuguruPosted on: 8-17-2024

    Location

The receptionist is more interested in the movie than the customer. The man when we reached there, he kept eating and watching the screen.Even when I asked for toilet paper, he hadn't kept inside his mind so we went again to ask for it.And at night, when we returned for 5 min, no receptionist, and when she came back with her snacks, she just had nothing to say, they are not proper workers in the hospitality industry at all.
