The in-room safe deposit box would not work. So we tried another room, and also had the same problem! In the end, we gave up and deposited our passports at the Front Desk. The 2nd big problem was the non-stop gurgling noise of water in the bathroom.

we booked rooms 18 square meters but the rooms were only rooms 12 square meters. one room had no windows and smelt like someone was smoking in the room. we complaint about all. the only answer was for now we are fully booked so we can not help you.

The room has a big window which can be opened!, which I appreciate so much since this is quite rare at this price range in SG. Everything was very clean. The bedsheet, blanket, pillowcase, towel were clean without any strong scent of detergent. There was every basic things I need like the kettle, hair dryer, water heater, even a safe.

Room has nearly no soundproof.Wifi was down during 4 nights we stayed! The male staff that informed/updated us about the wifi status when we asked never smiled/being friendly with us, just being kind of grudging, never said sorry, while this is clearly not out fault.

Nothing. Extremely bad. Bed was bad, poor, damp and extremely tight toilet. Bed room is extremely small and cannot even get off the bed. Not cleanVery noisy from the adjoining street. Aircon doesn’t work. Wifi doesn’t work.

Everything, it’s a budget hotel and very poor in overall quality and product.

Private room for an affordable price.

Next to Balestier street, which gives it a good location, however the street can be noisy even during the night hours. The sound isolation of windows is not very good.

The location is good, only 2 MRT stops from Orchard.

The building is very old, the room is small even though we were given the relatively bigger ones. There was no window in the room, which makes the air felt very damp. The carpet is visibly dirty and damp. And the worst part is, molds are abundant on the edge of the toilet seats! We booked for 3 nights, but ended up staying for only 1 night.

Short stay solo traveller

front desk staff, was not happy to answer questions. Didn't want to ask him why wifi was not working. I am on holidays and don't need the hassle

cleanliness.. received towel with smelly in the first day...

the rooms were very comfortable, although very compact, near public transport. had everything we needed, great value for money.

If you want just a place where to sleep.

Location is too far. Small room with bed. Window in the shower is not closing, so you will listen to everything what is happening outside.

the partition near ths window can sit n have the view outside...the toiletries...

i dint expect this ReDdoorz to be this bad as i whem to others it wasnt like what ived expected

Best location - just a few steps from the bus stops, restaurants and stores. Area is not noisy and I had an awesome view from my room. Room is great - not too small for me - hot water shower working. Comfy bed,.

Definitely need more work on cleanliness, there was a roach in the room, not a big deal for me though.

Friendly staff and close to shops, food and transport.

Right beside a very noisey road. I usually sleep through most noise but it was very loud and affected my sleep. There is also a bar below open to late which is a bit noisey but didn’t bother me. Possibly not an issue if your room is not on the road side.

Revisiting after a few years. The locality is a familiar village peopled by seniors, working age and students, with heritage buildings alongside modern malls. Very convenient for public transport. A variety of well-subscribed restaurants serve simple, nourishing food. This budget hotel has been well maintained; its facilities remain very clean. My room was quiet. The reception staff made an effort to accommodate me upon my check-in slightly ahead of time.

Complimentary coffee, tea sachets could include options for plain black (as opposed to 3-in-1). Amenities are otherwise very good.

The staff was great—bus nearby, easy to get to ION mall, a great place.

The internet went out all-day on my last day.

cleanliness of space

rude staff at reception who told me when I arrived that my booking has been cancelled and we do not have rooms, when I included booking.com staff then they arranged a room for me. The bed had a yellow stain not sure what it was and they said it js not replaceable

late checkin was possible.

There were cockroaches. After we rushed out of the room to inform the staff, there was no free room and she couldn’t do anything about it and handed us a can of mosquito repellent spray. So we checked out of there (5 am) and went to sleep somewhere else.
