    Pros +

    • Good pressure and hot water in the shower.
    • The location is great. Within 10min walk to an MRT station, close to shopping complexes, arab street.
    • Room was clean, maybe too cold but you have free access to your AC settings so it's fine. There were 2 bottles of water on the house, which I really appreciated after a long flight and the heat. The bed was comfortable with plugs next to it

    Cons -

    • The walls in the room were really thin, you can hear everything from adjacent rooms and outside the hallway. The room itself was so small that you can barely open your luggage and very little seating area.
    • The toilet flush buttons were close to broken, I almost hurt my fingers everytime trying to push the button. The glass for toothbrush was stained with sth.The other guests were very noisy even at late night time, but I think it’s something we can’t control.
    • Walls are very thin, my room was connected with the room next door through this door and I could hear the guy snoring like he was next to me in bed. And in the morning there were some very loud noises coming from another room, something you don't really want to hear hehe. Out of the hotels control, it's just as said, the walls are so thin that you can hear people breathing. I think the moaning were coming from the floor above (?)

Been staying here many times. Right at center of the city ,very convenient. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel staff are super friendly. Strongly recommend for budget travelers!

Location was within walking distance to Bugis Junction for catching Metro trains to the airport or popular attractions. Otherwise, centrally located for walking around the city. The staff also tried their best to be helpful.

It may be a newly remodeled facility but was done very cheaply and already showing signs of wear and tear. One wall in my room was spray splattered with what looked like red wine. Signs encourage guests to keep noise to a minimum due to the eco-design of the building that has little insulation between walls. It was one thing to be in your room and hear conversations, hair dryers, message notification dings coming from all over the floor; quite the other at 2-3am to hear neighbors carrying on laughing, singing, like they were in a hostel - that had me pounding on the walls! The designers tried to go 'chic and trendy' in the bathrooms = totally impractical with ridiculous shower fixtures, no soap tray, and such a tight squeeze in the tiny shower there's no room to bend over for picking anything up from the floor. I also found it juvenile that the AC thermostat only works through the front desk so you have to call to turn it on, everytime you want to adjust the temperature. With such a large facility, I don't envy the staff nor could be angry when I woke up freezing and found my room set at 19! I'm sure they adjusted the wrong room...about like when I got a knock on the door at 11pm with the housekeeper trying to deliver hangers to the wrong room.

Nothing. It was expensive, staff was not helpful, Wi-Fi was terrible, it was dirty, and it was not quite. Would definitely not recommend wasting your money on this dump.

Everything. It was terrible experience. Hotel was dirty. Staff could not speak English, and was not helpful. Wi-Fi was awful. The room was loud, had to sleep with a noise machine on. Shower door leaked. It was expensive also.

Location was decent. Good food options nearby. Easy and quick to travel to MBS.

EXTREMELY LOUD. Paper thin walls and door. Neighbors yelling at all times day & night. Moldy walls. AC very weak and room was very humid. No windows. Stingy with the soap.

    Good location and value

The rooms are small, had no windows, and showed signs of aging (a lot of paint falling off, etc)

    6GoranPosted on: 8-11-2024

    Good location.

New hotel, but from inside looks like an old one. Thin walls, you can hear every sound from other rooms or hallway.
