MET A Space Pod @ Arab Street

There was fresh blood on the sheets. the sheets and towels appeared dirty. The pod creeks every time the person above moves, especially when they were trying to rub one off.

Very comfortable sleeping pod. Everything was very clean

The staff did not arrive on time from 3pm break.

It has AC. The bed was comfortable.Showers decent

I thought they would be more sound proof. You can hear a lot. Bring earplugs. The common area gets dirty easily.

Check-in and out was very smooth. The size of the pod and luggage space was good for the price. And the safety precautions were good.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, it was difficult to use the toilet without getting wet shoes/socks from the shower water. Water and dirt was tracked throughout the bathroom.The ambient light in the pod was unable to be turned off, so it was not dark enough in the space.

The functions of the pods didn’t work properly. Ceiling lights can the turned on. The air conditioning wasn’t that good in my pod. The TV didn’t work. They don’t give tooth brush or slippers to walk around. They don’t have a lounge to sit down in and chill in. Highly recommend if that is there. There was barely any help or a Walkdown when checking in. Also the pod was on 4th floor, it was a hassle taking luggage up by stairs as there was no lift/elevator.

The location of the stay is very well placed if you ask me its near the public transportation to explore singparore for a weekend and the value for your money is great

My bed was very squeeky each move made a lot of noice. Than evuentlyy one of the light buttons for small light did not work so only big light. even though it has ac it became very warm at night

Good value for money and the flaws were quite minor, it’s really hard to find such affordable accommodation in the centric area of Singapore so we were quite satisfied

Everything is quite old; whenever you turn on the mattress the whole pod screeches and it’s quite loud; no cooking area (only microwave and kettle on the last floor 2x2 square meter space) and cups were quite dirty there. Some lockers are quite hard to open/close as the card doesn’t function great.

Very easy self check in process, clean pods with a lot of functionality.

Washrooms were not the most well maintained.

Bathroom And showers weren't very clean, there is no trash bin in the bathrooms. If the person above or under your pod moves you totally feel it.

Best sci-fi hotel experience ever-- I loved loved LOVED my pod. SO MUCH. You could change the colors in the room-- it was cozy wthout being too small, it was just so awesome. And the people that worked there-- as well as the owner who we met-- were incredibly helpful and amazing and friendly. GO HERE!!!!

Nothing. It was great. A teeny teeny bit rundown, barely-- but WHATEVER-- that is what makes getting into your AEWESOME SCI-FI POD even better!! God, I loved it.

I like the lockers are inside the suites.

I didn’t like that the door beeps when you open it and not close it. This could wake people up if you’re leaving at 0500.

Clean and comfortable. After weeks of dorms I loved the feeling of having my own private space. Not very sociable but the location is great.

Good location. Close to tubes to be able to get around and in the heart of Arab street. Very clean and good amenities in the pod (phone charges, aircon, TV)

Pods are very noisy, you can hear everytime someone moved or coughed

Location. Only a 5-minute walk to Bugis station and easy to catch a bus to head down the downtown.

some of the showerheads and hairdryers on my floor were out of function. no elevator which is a concern should be taken into account in advance for those who bring their big luggage here. The rooftop common area was lack of maintenance. Generally speaking, the hostel design is uninteractive and segregated. It's a place where ppl just simply come and leave, and barely have chances to interact with other guests, unlike other hostels I stayed before.

Great location. Good price-value for Singapore. And the stuff was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for all the tips you gave me for local food and how to get to places, etc. ??

The capsule was clean but it was very uncomfortable and small with no places where to leave stuff or at least smaller belongings. Very noisy with openings and all the other locks like the locker or other capsules. The bathroom door was making noise every time it was closed. Impossible to relax and sleep quietly. The bathroom was very dark and the shared area didn't have any shelf or hook where to place your stuff. And the worst was the A/C which was too cold. On the second day I started having sore throat and another traveller too.

Our pod was clean and it fitted two people perfectly - my husband is 194 cm tall and it was OK for him. The location was good, it takes about 15 minutes of walking to reach the city centre. There is a metro station close to the pod, many restaurants, shops and cafes around the place. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.

One thing to bear in mind is that there are many pods in one room, and people are coming and going whenever they please. If you value privacy and deep sleep, don´t forget your earplugs.
