Hotel NuVe

The reception is very welcoming and helpful. Its location is in the middle of everywhere. And I like the fact that it is next to Kampong Glam and walking distance to Bugis Junction a shopping hub. Eateries everywhere. There is also a small elevator.

The rooms are very small. There is hardly any space to put down your luggage and toiletries.

Location, staff, mini fridge, free wifi, rain shower and free mini bar on first day.

Room lighting was too dim...masking the various scuff marks on walls. Only towels, toilet paper, tootbrush, tooth paste, shower caps, shampoo and body wash were provided. No cotton buds. Honestly, the room looked really dingy compared to website pictures. And I paid extra for an upgrade to Basic. The TV channels were not watchable (probably due to low signal). It made the TV pointless to have, TBH.

the room has no window thus it's a bit damp but still acceptable, the walls are thin and my room is next to the lobby so it could get a bit noisy at times

Location

I was surprised how small the room was and no window. No hand towels only one bath towel. No chair only a plastic stool. The room was not what I was expecting.

Nice accomodation in a good neighborhood close to everything (bus stops, MRT stations, restaurants, convenient stores). Mostly have everything we need.

Mineral water available only in the lobby.

The room was well air conditioned, it was small but had enough room, complementary drinks x2 tea and x2 cans of coke each day with a water bottle provided to get filterd water just round from reception, reception staff were helpfull with suggestions and friendly, the room was cleaned each day and towels replaced.

The room was a little cramped but honestly its fine as i was just myself, a couple would be fine, shower and toilet are close and the shower can splash onto the toilet and toilet paper, realy not that big of a deal

The staff was helpful and I did ask if I could have some deco as it was my wedding anniversary.. they actually deco the bed.. appreciate the effort .. thanks !!

Affordable room in a great location. Friendly staff and room was clean. Very small room even smaller than what was pictured. AC is in the room but appears poorly maintained made me and my partners throat extremely sore and at times difficult to breath!

The price of Hotel NuVe was a significant positive. The lack of windows in the room effectively reduced noise from the nearby mosque's calls to prayer, which was beneficial considering Singapore's humid climate. The room was very clean and well-equipped, featuring a free mini-bar stocked with soda and tea, as well as cookies, Nespresso pods, tea, and instant coffee. The provision of toothpaste and toothbrush kits was a thoughtful touch. The staff were attentive, as demonstrated by emptying the humidifier tank. Furthermore, the hotel's location is convenient, being only 400 meters from the Bugis metro station, offering easy access to Singapore's tourist attractions. Overall, it was considered a great value stay in a convenient location.

Despite the cleanliness, the room occasionally had an unexplained smell of smoke. While the reduced noise from the mosque due to the lack of windows was a positive for some, it's important to note that the calls to prayer were still audible, which might be a concern for those requiring absolute silence

good value for money, good location and friendly staff

The location is nice, close to little India and Sultans Mosque, plenty of restaurants around. The staff was very friendly and professional.

For that price it is not a great value, the hotel is not very clean, the rooms are small and dated, the bathroom set up is not comfortable. There are many far better options for similar price. We only stayed for a day and I would not plan to stay any longer.

Very small and dark room, not comfortable at all. At least the location was good. But definitely too expensive for this kind of room

Perfect location serving my purpose ,very close to the place I go for work . Windowless room , but very clean, spotless should I say, and convenient .Comfortable bed ,kettle in the room and fridge .

The lack of window if you plan to spend sometime in the room can be difficult because you need to keep the AC on all the time . The roof top doesn't offer a great view !! But it's Singapore !

The rooms are clean and always smells so good. So close to shopping area and Haji Lane! A lot of restaurant options around but no hawker's center nearby that I know of.

Wifi is not good at all for work calls. Our bathroom was a bit small.

The location is very central and convenient. It is very generous of them to provide a complimentary non-alcoholic mini bar that is replenished daily.

I could feel the individual springs of the mattress while lying or sitting down on the bed. Upon check in, there were long black hairs on the rim of the toilet and the button to flush. The TV has no screen mirroring, isn’t a smart TV and the only local channels had terrible reception with black and white fuzzy pictures. The A/C also can’t be adjusted and maybe this was because the room had no windows and they wanted to ensure there is constant airflow within the room but for it to be a constant 16-18°C is a bit ridiculous.

The room was great and clean. It is big enough for a couple or lone traveler to stay.

Due to not having windows, you will feel the dusty area and it feels stuffy being in the room.

They have upgraded our room for free! The room was sooo romantic and very comfortable. Will definitely love to stay there again in the future. Highly recommended for couple!

If I have to really pick (which i have to think hard): Iron was not available by default but it was available upon request. Not really a deal breaker.

Paid for a room with window view. Almost $400 for tiny room, dirty piece of plastic "window".
