JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach

Service, cleanliness and comfortable.

The cleanliness of our room was severely lacking. Upon entering, there was a noticeable and unpleasant odor. Lastly, our experience at breakfast was also unsatisfactory. We were dismayed to be provided with used cutlery, which is unacceptable under any circumstances for a hotel of your supposed standard.

Good location

Rooms where damp and smelly. We cancelled booking after we tried 4 different rooms but had to stay one night. Staff were very helpful but disapointing quality from Marriott.

Just about everything

The pillows, surprisingly for a 5 star, they were very hard.The large screen at the entry was intense visually. These were why it got a 9 & not a 10.

The best thing about the JW Marriott on South Beach is its convenient location. Everything is within reach, next to multiple MRT lines.

- The room smells odd, likely a stuffy odor because not many people use it, but that’s not what I expected from a 5-star hotel in a prime location. The room’s layout is highly inconvenient.- The breakfast is very poor, with few options to choose from. It’s very basic—just bread, some salads, and an egg station. Compared to other 5-star hotels in Singapore, like the InterContinental, it’s probably about one-fifth of what the InterContinental offers.- The room isn’t very clean for a 5-star hotel. You can see some dirty marks on the floor.

Reservations had been made in the hotel bar so when we went in , although 3 tables were empty, we were told they were reserved and so the bar had no room available. I personally think a hotel bar should be somewhere where you can just turn up to without reservation.

Very good hotel with excellent service and great facilities! The rooms are nice, though they feel a little small due to the layout, but I absolutely loved the smart toilet! I also want to highlight the breakfasts, they are worth every dollar you pay for them. The location is great, right next to the popular Raffles. The pool area is lovely too, offering a stunning view of the whole of Singapore, similar to the view from Marina Bay Sands. Special thanks to Zita for her attentiveness in ensuring a smooth check-in!I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for its value for money!

Great view and comfortable clean room. Was a great base to do things from as the location was excellent and close to transport, sight seeing and food.

Not having a breakfast spot on site as you have to leave the building for their breakfast service.

Location was very convenient, you can walk to the tourist spot very easily. Metro station is just opposite of the hotel. Hotel is clean and modern. Even though it was facing a big road, it was very quiet at night. There are two swimming pools, both very nice and easy to access. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Upon checking in, they changed my original booking to a different room type without any notice. As I arrived later than my friend, I realised we are put in a King room with extra single bed. The extra bed made the space smaller and harder to put our suitcases. When I went to the front desk to ask, their response was that the twin room type were all booked out. How would it be my problem if it was available for me to book ? It should have been reserved for us. The staff kept going on “so you’re not happy with the upgraded room we gave you?”. Even if it was upgraded, the room was cramped with the extra bed. To be honest, I really don’t care if it’s upgraded, when I book a twin room with two bed, I want two beds. The staff’s attitude really frustrates us.

We really liked the location, facilities and the best of all the Executive Lounge.

The customer service was high level and made my stay very comfortable. My room was beautiful. I enjoyed the bidet and rain showers. The 18th Floor was relaxing and the Executive lounge was very comfortable with good food and beverages.

The refrigerator did not allow me to store my personal food.

My family occupied 5 rooms and the rooms are excellent.Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nothing not to like.

The hotel had the best locations to Shops, restaurante, Marina and Parks. Had great amemories and wonderful helpful staff. They all seemed happy and took their job very seriously!
