Great bed and a complimentary minibar.

Bathroom sink is an automatically triggered firehose that splashes everywhere.

Location is pretty nice to stop 1 or 2 days just to explore and go around.The security guy was very nice as usual.

We had our 1yo child sick and he puked on the bed at a pretty late time. The way the situation has been handle lack of professionalism. We cleaned and changed the bedsheets by ourself. Good thing we didn't get charged as it has been mentioned orally to us.

Separate shower area in bathroom. Good towels. Plenty of blankets. Large enough room for two. Good shower stall. Good curtains.

Had to get up out of bed to change the air conditioner settings.

Staff at the check in was very friendly and helpful.Room is pretty spacious and the bed is big enough to have our 1yo sleeping with us

The AC facing the bed isn't very convenient

The bed was quite comfortable. The room was stocked with adequate supplies. The room was very quiet and there was no noise from any other rooms. The room was cleaned upon our return and everything was good. Very satisfied.

Comfortable and clean room, with a nice and functional bathroom. Good enough for a longer stay. Close to many restaurants and small shops, as well as to many transport options.Water coolers are available on every floor.

Windows don't open, but I guess this is because of the very hot and humid climate, to avoid excessive usage of AC in the room. Basically you need to run the AC constantly, even while sleeping. Not really a negative against the hotel, just something to be aware of.

room is clean ,staff is very nice parking is safe. But why no breakfast serving?? Outside the hotel is not so good.

Location was great for concerts at the stadium. Quiet street. Clean. Complimentary minibar items

A very comfortable bed and a well laid out room design.

It was a great location and no real negatives.

Great location near the train and so many great food options. Complementary beer in refrigerator. Downstairs next-door is a fresh squeezed orange juice vending machine. Staff was very friendly.

Large room size for Singapore! It is hard to right Singapore hotel reviews because the hotels are really not value for money compared to the rest of Southeast Asia. This hotel was relatively expensive but there was much worse in Singapore.

Just Singapore prices and sizes. A bit of a walk to the LRT, especially when it is raining as it was for us.

The room was ok, small, and fairly clean. Amenities were minimal. I would rather stay here than at an Ibis Budget in the same area, but there is a huge price differential, Ibis Budget hotels being much cheaper.

I stayed for one night. There is no room service, but the Front Desk clerk insisted on taking an SGD 100 deposit. Frankly I have no idea of what expenses I might have incurred that would be secured by the deposit.

Aircon feels not cold enough. There was this one day the room ran out of shampoo and we asked for refill in the morning. But when we came back to hotel around 3 pm they still not yet refilled and room hasn't been cleaned yet

Location, quite a treck to MRT so we used taxis. Good to see another side to Singapore...not glam quite rough round the edges

My wife and I recently stayed at Five/6 Splendour hotel and wanted share some of our concerns. I booked several months in advance but had a couple of airline schedule changes that made us reconsider the length of stay. The first change was that we wanted to reduce our stay by one day since we wouldn’t be arriving as soon as we hoped. We were told from Booking.com after they consulted with Splendour staff that this was not possible. There was a minimum stay requirement? Our plans changed again and some how we were able to book another 2 day stay(with no minimum?)as a separate adjoining booking at a higher cost. Seems like pretty suspect business practices are at work here.After arriving to our room via elevator and walkaways which had no air conditioning we found our room with the windows open in the middle of the day so it was incredibly hot. There were ants everywhere. I’m not sure if the option to rent rooms to diners during the day is the cause but surely doesn’t help. The sink in the bathroom had a conservation feature(bravo) that shut on and off as soon as you removed your hands from underneath. Unfortunately that was the only thing the sensor recognized so you had to stick your fingers in the faucet to get it to run for brushing your teeth, filling water cups/bottles/shaving etc. Finally the room wouldn’t get cool until “we” cleaned the air filters on the AC which were caked with dust from not having been cleaned. It seems they are interested in saving electricity as well as cleaning staff. There was also a spider web in the shower.We informed management of our concerns but it seems they were happy to apologize but less interested in customer satisfaction. Also worth passing on is the location is less than convenient to major attractions requiring transportation($) for most if not every major site. Much better value options available. Our second hotel here was much better for similar cost.

The room is quite small, and the air conditioner blows very strongly, which was uncomfortable. Additionally, I wasn’t pleased with having to leave a S$100 deposit, as it felt like a lack of trust in the customer.

We booked fairly late for a visit during the F1 so I'm sure normally more options would be been available to us at this price point otherwise. In saying that, the room was more spacious than I was expecting (it would have been even more comfortable if it didn't have the ridiculously oversized chair in the room???) and the beds were very comfortable. I slept very well here. There's a tiny fridge and they provide some drinks/snacks free of charge which is a nice touch. The bathroom was fine, we were left to discover the hot water switch on our own, so the first shower was cold. They don't restock the toiletries in the room but were happy to give us more when we asked (we had a 7 night stay).It's a busy neighbourhood and not touristy at all which we really liked, there's lots of places to eat and several convenience stores. It's a 10 min walk to the Kallang MRT which is hot but doable (admittedly we didn't walk in the rain so that might be a bit of a hassle). The MRT is so convenient we had no trouble getting everywhere we wanted from this location (Marina Sands, Little India, Chinatown, Arab Street, Gardens by the Bay, Universal Studios, various hawker markets and the airport). I guess it depends whether you're someone who doesn't mind a bit of walking when on holiday.From this location it was amazingly easy to get back to the airport - about 25 mins direct on the MRT for less than S$2.

Fresh towels were provided every day but the room was not cleaned daily. The oversized chair in the room was just weird, it took up so much space.

Don’t recommend to anyone

Cockroaches, and 9.50 in the morning the construction noise at Saturday.Completely unsatisfying.
