Shangri-La Hotel Singapore

It was fine but nothing special compared to other Shangri-La hotels globally. Kids play area is chargeable separately

Staff is attentive to our need. Lunch buffet met expectations. The room is beautiful and the gym is well equipped.

Hotel is not located near public transport or train station. Not sure whether the hotel provides shutter bus to nearest train station.

Efficient check in, comfy bed, and good gym

Pool was very much oriented towards children and families. Rooms felt slightly dated.

Facilities were great for my toddler! She loved Splash (water park) and bubs (indoor play).

I wasn't able to log into my Shangri-la Circle account so I wasn't able to use the services easily via the QR code. It was frustrating as the service desk couldn't help so I had to email customer service who didn't reply until the last day of my stay.

The location is just ideal. A 5 minute walk away from the hustle and bustle of orchard YET felt like a sanctuary without noise and traffic. Also they had amazing festive spirit with carollers everyday during the festive week

The staff was very pleasant and room was vleaned twice a day, breakfast was great. The hotel's facilities were very good.

The location is a bit far from city center, and a way from public teansportation.

Impeccable as always from Shangri-la. The alcove bed for my son to sleep in was both convenient and super adorable.

Location is not the most convenient as shuttle service is quite limited

Beautiful property with attentive staff

Thick blankets on beds meant one was very hot unless blasting air conditioning at night to sleep.

The hotel itself is top class ,Very tranquil place you can compared to other hotels in Singapore with its eloborate garden area ,The amount of childrens activities within the hotel is also impressive

I stayed here right after my stay in Kerry Shangri La in Hong Kong which was outstanding House keeping in the room was really average ,We are all for water conservation but to leave a room in a bad state just because the bed linen wasnt changed is inexcusable !We literally used room service every day but the food in some ocassions was tasteless !

A truly unique property - as others have noted, it is showing its age, but overall, it comes across as charming, not outdated. My family and I enjoyed our stay there overall. Some parts could do with a refresh (Eg: The Line restaurant looks like it's stuck in the 1970s) but the quality of the food and service more than made up for it. The staff at the hotel made all the difference - they were genuinely lovely and helpful, and we didn't experience anyone shoving their namecards at us and asking for good reviews, which was a common experience in other hotels we've stayed in. That was great. We loved the pool, the Lounge and the overall feel of the property, and will definitely be back.

This is a small thing but: The toiletries provided left a film on our skin and made the shower floor feel slippery. The moisturizer was tacky and didn't absorb well. Maybe consider a more upmarket brand and experience to match the 5-star rating (and pricing?)

I liked the staff were so friendly and family and kids friendly place and got the kids club and splash park and nice variety of food I really liked it but the hotel is really old

This is a GORGEOUS resort that is a not too far way oasis from the busier more urban neighborhoods of Orchard Street and Downtown Singapore. Beautiful lobby, great restaurants, and wonderful relaxing pool. I highly recommend the lush Garden Wing with Pool View rooms overlooking the pool. Wonderful hotel!!

Breakfast was good, location is not far from orchard Road.

The room was not clean as there was black spots on the floor.The staff were not supportive. They denied to give me a receipt for my staying ( so i can claim it with my company)which this is first time i faced such issue!! I contacted booking.com but they transferred me to the hotel again ( this means no support from each side).I am level 3 in booking and i am not getting support, this was very disappointing.I hope i see response from your side.

This is an amazing hotel for families. The kids club is excellent, and having a separate splash park for the kids is great. The in-room dining is also convenient and they have a great range of meals for kids and adults.

Great facilities great food at the restaurants also great bar. Staff service exceptional and super friendly.

Not all the staff was friendly - specifically at checkin counter. One simply nodded when I said hello. I also noticed during breakfast when staff would take our beverage order, 2 out of 3 days we did not receive it.

Just a ten-minute walk to the busy Orchard, with a bonus shuttle bus for added convenience. A great place for families, my kid had a wonderful time in the splash area while I caught up with friends in the lobby. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a thoughtful breakfast with coloring paper and pencils for kids. The breakfast selection is excellent, including a made-to-order laksa station. Overall, the price you pay feels fair for the service you receive.

One downside: access to the indoor playground costs an extra $47 if you’re not in a family package room, which feels a bit overpriced. We also received a lot of emails before check-in and found the advertising and prompts to click on things a bit overwhelming.Overall, a lovely place for families and a great experience. We will definitely come back for our next stopover in Singapore.
