CUBE Family Boutique Capsule Hotel @ Chinatown

The location was very central and outside the hotel was chinatown with all its food and markets. Very exciting.

No toilet in the room, very old and run down.

Great location with plenty of food options nearby, close to the MRT station, and easily accessible. Receptionist always helpful and friendly.

This was our first experience with a capsule-style stay, and we booked a family suite. The room was narrow, and we kept accidentally bumping our heads when we weren’t paying attention.

The location was convenient as it was in the middle of Chinatown, near the station and multiple food centres. I also appreciate that the reception is available 24/7 for any question or request we may have. We liked that the hotel also provided drinking water (through a dispenser), which was badly needed throughout our stay in Singapore.

We didn't realise that the rooms were in upper floors, and we had to go up 2 flights of stairs with 2 elderly family members. The bathroom in the Double Room also did not have a shower curtain, which resulted in water to flow out and overflow into the carpet. The team was kind enough to ensure the shower curtain was installed on Day 3, but even then, there was still some water seeping out.

It was an experience, the room was clean

We fixed the flush mechanism on the toilet, then after 1 day we noticed the shower was leaking. Found the use of mirrors to create space disorientating and feel the room could have been laid out better to maximise the space. For 4 adults (two older teens & 2 adults) I'm glad I booked a room for 6!

Liked the price, free snacks on day 1, mattress and distance to hawker centers; MRT station and shops

Tight space for a group, no escalator or lift to help the guests with luggage, bathroom sink is way too little, some black mold looking on the walls.

Location

No elevator, not ideal for family with luggages, we were on the 3rd floor and the furthest corner with no window. Room was dusty. Staff was very unfriendly when she had to walk from the other CUBE branch.

Loved the location and the facilities provided. They also had a lot of unexpected services provided particularly for families with young kids. They had a bottle sterilizer, warmers, hot water dispenser and free snacks. Staff were also really friendly and accommodating. Bed size and heights were comfortable considering they are bunkbeds.

How much smaller it is compared to photos on the site and there is not enough room to store several suitcases and the bathroom was pretty cramp.

Location is the best value for this hotel. Staff are friendly.

Room space may not be suitable for family to relax or stay as it was too condensed, but if only for night sleep it is acceptable.

It's good for its price

Didn't know the room was so cramped!The four bedroom one was good. The 6 bedroom one was way cramped for 5 people.

It does have a superb location. Hawkers stall just across the road. "Surrounded" by establishments that aims to serve travellers. Busing or MRTing around major areas are just few stations away. (May be that's why the price can stay in mid high range).

It is a on 2nd floor of the Town shop houses with no elevator. Going up and down with heavy luggage is not easy....

This was a great accomodation option for a quick overnight stay while we were in transit for 17 hours. The location is in the heart of Chinatown with excellent markets.

The hall way music was too loud and at 2 am I asked it too be turned off as my head was next to the door and I couldn’t sleep.

Location was great. Close to food options and only a two minute walk to Chinatown MRT.

Size of the family room. It takes cost to the next level, and I wouldn’t recommend it for more than 4 people. Beds were comfortable but there’s very little room to put cases, clothes etc. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is extremely inadequate resulting in the whole area becoming steamy instantly, and the provided towels won’t dry when hung up all day. There was also the occasional smell from the shower drain and the frequent sound of running water coming from the same drain, much like someone nearby was flushing the toilet.
