Raffles Hotel Singapore

Comfortable room with a good bath tub for a long restful soak. Complimentary Singapore Sling on arrival. The Long Bar Steakhouse is exceptional, if a bit expensive. Bar food in the Long Bar is good as well.

The dinner buffet in the Tiffin Room is grossly overpriced.

It lived up to expectations

We found the in room control ipad a bit hard to figure out - especially for media controls.

Old style TVs, rather than flat panel. Hard to believe for a 5 star

Every room is a suite with a personal butler who was happy to help with anything we needed.

From the outside, the place looks quite modest—but once inside, it’s surprisingly intricate and maze-like. After visiting the gym or restaurants, just finding our way back to the room was a little adventure in itself!

The staff were extremely friendly, kind, thoughtful and attentive making every guest feel valued. The building is wonderful to 'live in' - the latest renovation has recreated the majesty and detail of the old Raffles Singapore at the height of its popularity. Full compliments to Accor and the interior designer for their thoughtful renovation of this iconic building. We could have spent much longer admiring the splendor. Guests are offered a complimentary history tour which was fascinating.

We loved every detail - nothing could be improved.

The room was beautiful and well appointed. I pad operated curtains, lights and t v. I had a parlour, bedroom and a bathroom.

Nothing it was perfect.

This was a treat to myself and my partner with some money that my late mother left me when she died. It was amazing and well worth the money. We were very spoilt and lived every minute of it. The complementary Gin sling and chocolates on arrival were a lively surprise. Breakfast was great - served in the beautiful Tiffin room. We ordered dinner in our room which was lovely and then visited the long bar for a drink. The staff at the swimming pool area were friendly and welcoming - they could not do enough for us! Our butler was very helpful and made us very welcome. What a beautiful building too. It has been my dream to stay a night at Raffles and it did not disappoint! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience x

It was all perfect!

Lovely suite, great atmosphere and took the history tour one afternoon which lasted 2 hours and was excellent. Loved the Writers bar and the Courtyard for drinks. Excellent afternoon tea experience with a fantastic harpist playing all afternoon. Staff were all excellent, couldn't be faulted.

This was my second stay at Raffles. Everything was simply amazing. The butlers were always meticulous and the attention to detail was excellent. The room was luxurious as ever. Special thanks to Thomas, the Hotel Manager, for personally saying hello during my check-in process, that was dearly appreciated.

The floor was a little creaky at times, but I am nitpicking at this point.

Beautiful lobby, nice pool, huge room.

They have added on so much that it's huge and easy to get lost. I did not like all the tour groups of people walking through the facility. I thought the $41 for a Singapore sling was kind of ridiculous. We had arranged transportation and the bellboy to come to our room because we were leaving early. He did not show the man at the front desk. Had a very hard time getting a taxi for us took about 25 minutes and we were concerned we were going to miss our plane.

Excellent historic hotel that treats the guests very well. An amazing historic tour was included, as well as an excellent performance for the Chinese New Year. The staff were courteous and professional.

Amazing service, decor, ambience and history. One of our best stays anywhere.

No loose leaf tea in-room or at an otherwise superlative breakfast was a surprising miss for a luxury hotel in Singapore. No sauna attached to gym. No yoga mats in gym.

Very friendly staff and excellent rooms. Butchers Block restaurant excellent, which was certainly not the cheapest dinner we have had but we had free carol singers! Problem is that living in Guernsey we have such good restaurants at very reasonable prices and no VAT.

Lunch by the pool. I ordered caesar salad with lobster and it instead came with chicken Took 20 minutes to replace but the other dish had already arrived. They said they would knock the price off the account, but never did.

the new management needs to be more careful about raffles traditional service understanding and sytle . now the staff is very ordinary and has lack of raffles style their way of service , communication ..the management has to review what is the aim ? being an ordinary 5 star hotel or keep going on the raffles style !

It is the most perfect hotel. Staff are amazing, so is the food and the bars are incredible. It is ideally situated for walking around the heritage district and Chinatown.

There is nothing that I didn’t like about the hotel.

Overall service was exceptional. Concierge, chocolates on arrival, butler service etc etcRooms was sensational

Price is excessive

Adore the decor, the bed and pillow, the cleanliness, the attention from staff. The room was enormous, I felt very spoilt, although in truth a smaller one would have been adequate and much easier to get around. I loved loved loved that staff never failed to remember us. I loved that they allowed us the use of facilities after we checked out as we had a 1.30am flight!

I would like to see more seating areas for lounging in between meals or drinks on lower floors. The lighting in the room was not adequate for seeing, particularly in foyer and bedroom- I believe due to the age of the hotel. I thought the iPad to turn on tv etc was a little OTT- remotes are much quicker to access, particularly when you’re in bed. I think the store could sell better quality items, for example some of the products in the room.

The butlers, decor and attention to detail were all amazing. Every need was anticipated and catered for.

I found a dead cockroach in the shower, which really dampened my impression of the hotel and my generally positive experience.

The calmness. My suite was amazing and kept on traditional way big with modern technology. The staff were exceptional. The Tiffin room for breakfast was beautiful. Afternoon tea was delightful

Nothing was unlikable

It was beautiful and the service was impeccable. Our butler was incredible. We will definitely be back. The welcome chocolate, peanuts and drink were a lovely touch.
