The property is well located, with a city bus stop and the Downtown MRT station (Jalan Besar) situated just opposite the hotel, making it very convenient to reach from Changi Airport. The surrounding area includes shopping facilities, particularly Indian restaurants including vegetarian options, grocery shops, money exchangers, bars and restaurants, and massage parlours.

Cozy room. A kettle tray was provided; however, coffee or tea was not included. No lift available.

at this price, it is the best I can recommend after years of stay : good location to metro and several good food centers! plus one can dry clothes outdoor !

you pay what you get : either quiet double room without window or single room neighboring nearby Indian worker apartment with window. Remind there is no elevator.

There were bugs roaming around the room. The shower heater didn't work. Also, it would be beneficial to have a "Keep Quiet" sign as other guests are making so much noise in the mornings.

Small but cozy room for backpacker in an interesting area. If you're looking for something for a couple of nights at a reasonable price, I recommend it.

You need a cheap private room right in central Singapore? This is it.People seem to either love or hate this place. I loved it. Bang for the buck you couldn't do better.Upsides: My room was extremely clean, shower and everything in bathroom worked extremely well, A/C worked extremely well. There is an MRT stop right across the street. Also bus stop-- though I didn't use the bus.You are right on the edge of Little India, so plenty to do and explore right there. "Coffee" shop with lots of exotic fruit drinks, pastries and Indian snacks right next door--- and extremely inexpensive. Plenty of restaurants nearby.Right across Rochor Road are a bunch of excellent non-Indian restaurants if you want other food.Walking distance to much of central Singapore.For the price, I'd be surprised you could find anything better.

Downsides:Probably the main downside is there is no elevator. Probably why this place is so cheap.So you have to walk up one or two (maybe three) flights of stairs.I guess if you have tons of luggage this could be an issue.I have one carry-on bag and I could use the exercise. It took me maybe two or three minutes to get up to my room.Also, yes the walls are very thin. If you are unlucky enough to get noisy people nextdoor and you are a light sleeper, could be an issue.Hint: I closed the bathroom door and that actually reduced the noise from the next room quite a bit. Also, the A/C helps cover it a bit.My room (for one person) was very small--- but hey--- all I'm doing is sleeping there. If you want a big, luxurious room, this is not for you.

If you're looking for a simple, affordable place to sleep while you spend the whole day exploring Singapore, this works just fine. The room is basic but functional, and the location makes it easy to get around. It's not a place to hang out or relax for long hours, but if you're the kind of traveler who just needs a bed and a hot shower after a full day out, it does the job.

Unfortunately, upon arrival I encountered what appeared to be either a bedbug or a cockroach. In addition, the room had no windows, poor ventilation and a strong musty smell. It's a shame, because with better maintenance and pest control, this could be a good budget option.

If you are looking for very basic accomodation which have only broken bed, air condition and old kettle this is the place you can stay

The place is the best, unfortunate I see some animals in my room. The rest was good friendly staff.

Bugs in my room

The location wise, I chose this hotel. All the facilities and needs are very close by. Specially buses and Metro service are within the reach. Mustafa Center & Mosque is all close in distance.

The washroom needs to take care of, water leaks up and the side room partition (#311) should be of solid wall.

The location was very close to the downtown MRT which was very convenient for visiting the highlights

Basically everything was terrible. There was no one present for our check in so they left the key with my name on it on the counter (privacy?), so that everyone could have just picked it up and entered the room. The room itself could hardly fit a 2-person bed and the bed itself felt like someone had already slept in it. Due to this we slept in our own sleeping bag for 3 nights.... On top of that, baby cockroaches were crawling all over the floor + the room smelt very moldy. And all this for an extremely high price. We only stayed here as we weren't able to afford a different hotel for our stay. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel (this cannot even be called a hotel).

There were bugs in the room, bad sound isolation, I could hear the neighbours and it smelled mouldy and there were bugs.

reception was absolutely unacceptable . no elevator to upper floors. had to carry bag on a steep stair case to 3rd floor. room was a cubicle maybe a back packer hotel. no facilities to keep bag and clothing. booking.com should DE-LIST this hotel from the list.

everything about this hotel. hardly any room to move about inside the cubicle. SGD 187 for two days. i booked out in one day!

Location close to MRT

The property has a cockroach infestation. We killed around six or more cockroaches every single day. They were everywhere in the bathroom, on the floor, across the walls and on the desk running around our stuff. We advised the receptionist on day three but the situation remained the same. We also saw cockroaches in the corridors.
