Pros +
- We booked the ocean suite which had the aquarium in the bedroom. It was a novel experience which our 3yo son enjoyed.
- I didn’t realise we had a butler so big shout out to Alfie who was an amazing host. He picked us up and took us to all the places we needed to go.The aquarium room was next level, watching the fish all day was something special! Probably the best accomodation we’ve ever stayed at
- The butler were very professional, they served me very well and made my stay very good. The view of the aquarium from the room was a once in a lifetime experience and was unbelievable.
Cons -
- The layout of the room was very poorly thought-out. For example, there is no outlet in the bathroom so the hairdryer is plugged-in in the corner of the bedroom- where it’s dark. The coffee station is downstairs, but the mini fridge is upstairs- which is up 3 flights of stairs. The entire room is poorly lit, and to make it worse, the master lights shut off when the blinds to the aquarium are opened- so basically, you can either have lights OR the view, but not both. The bathroom is so dark even with all the lights on that it’s impossible to do your makeup in there. Finally, the spa has been closed “since Covid”, but no one seemed to tell them that Covid ended almost 3 years ago and the world has moved on. The only good thing about this hotel was the cool view of the sea life from our room, but definitely overpriced and not worth the price tag! Just go have dinner at the Ocean restaurant for much less.
- You have to take a buggy to get anywhere, but luckily the butler were very helpful and made up for it.
- Leaving or returning to the ocean suite required buggy transport (a short minute from the hotel lobby). Not a huge inconvenience, but not as easy as stepping in and out like you would do with most hotel stays.

Our stay at Equarius Villas was everything we could have hoped for and MORE!! The location is great, the villas were really beautiful and the Staff were absolutely outstanding, and so very helpful. We had lunch at Osia Restaurant and it was so good that we went back for lunch the next day!!
Great service by personal butler, kelvin. He even prepared drink for my guests on his own initiative.
Exceptional service - butler service was wonderful, staff were attentive and responded quickly at all times to all requests. Stunning view of the aquarium from the ocean suite.

Friendly staffs, exceptional room
Butler came in only during check in, check in was rather slow
A legendary view that only so little places in this world can give you. When the view for the aquarium opens up for the first time, it is truly a magical experience. The view specially when the main lights go out is truly a marvel. Quite a bucket list experiencePerfect for special occasions and proposals! The amount might scare you off, but as others mentioned in their reviews, don't let that shy you off.Don't think, just do it ~!Also the team was super helpful in setting up for my special occasion. Their 24/7 butler service will ensure you are well taken care off~!And their buggy service is always available for use to tour around the areas Special thanks to MunYee, Vanessa and Khant for taking care of my requests and assisting me thruout my stay!
Honestly, it is hard to fault anything here. Their rooms theme, service and ambience are top notch.
Staff were helpful and polite. They are customer oriented, provided good tips and advice on dining options.
All’s good.
I don't have a breakfast. For a location is good.
Should have more audio such as bluetooth speaker
The two bedded villa felt luxurious and spacious. The staff were attentive and warm. However in-room dining was an absol
In room dining was a disappointment. Expect food to take more than an hour to arrive in take away boxes and luke warm. Having paid a small fortune for the villa, we were looking forward to enjoying a quiet dinner in our room. However the food quality and its presentation were a let down. Yes the service staff were apologetic but it wasn’t their fault.
The villa was specious nice..Staff amazing kind helpful.. I lost my back bag in some malls they helped me to the max to find it special thanks to Jackson and Chris in the management..Everything was perfect the pool, cleaning, following up..Was nice memory
No facilities..Limited options for restaurants..No kids club in a resort!!!
Buggy service to and from sent is a locations.
Booked 2 bedroom villa. It has 3 double beds and can have 6 people stay. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children. Went to included breakfast and got told that only 2 adults were included. Had to pay for the kids. Oh and 13 year old have to pay as full adult.
OCEAN SUITE is an experience - do not be put off by the price. It is worth it.Service was excellent at every step.Yes the suite is in a 'different' part of the resort, but this is because you are actually staying 'behind the scenes' of the aquarium. Amazing.
Sleeping off and waking up to the view of the playful sea life in the comfort of your bed. The kids love the mini outdoor pool.
The sofa bed could have been better and maybe considering having retractable gates at both ends of the staircase.
The aquarium lighting And the ambiance created by the nicely designed room . Although the one we were in seemed a little worn. Staff were very friendly and polite .
There was renovations or repairs going on well into our stay . Drilling and hammering could be heard . We were given a room so close to the common walkway . The tub water was brown rusty . And lots of material was seen coming out of the pipes. I guess from the renovations. Or repairs.
Quiet and space is big
It’s a waste not to have spa facilities like before. And renovation still going on even on weekend.
The property is pure luxury. The friendly staff & butler go to so much effort to make you feel welcomed & taken care of. The room is absolutely amazing, its a special unforgettable experience everyone should experience. It was our birthday celebrations & they surprised us with a beautiful cake, card & bed decorations. Its a stay we will never forget it will always be a very special experience
There is nothing not to like here
So-so, not worth the value.
Very unhelpful and unfriendly staff. They can’t wait to run away all the time and even try to avoid eye contact so they don’t need to help you even when you are standing in front of them. Staff also tried to reject my check in rudely when i am the main booker, everything was paid by me, I even own the account that booked this room. The staff rudely said “you either call booking.com yourself now to ask to change to your name or we have to reject your check in as you didn’t write your name as the check in person”. She then put my ID in the table and look away and continued to do her own things when I haven’t answer what I’m gonna do. So disgusted by their attitude. FYI the one who served me was a female Chinese manager, I did not manage to get the name. Also I requested for ice to be sent to my room via phone call, in-room dining asked me to go get it myself or be ready for them to charge me $11 service charge. I called the front desk and they arranged the ice to be sent to my room for free. What a lousy 5 star hotel that don’t know what they are doing at all. Hope you can sack and rehire all your staff. Don’t know why they hate their job so much that they had to treat customers this way.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! Everything that was sentosa was within walking distance and easy to work out where you were.
It was an amazing hotel, but could do with a quick touch-up on a few dated and deteriorated bits of the room. For what you pay, you don't expect deteriorated fixings.
