D'Nova Hotel

I was so worried due to all the bad reviews I really adjust my expectations. To my surprise, the hotel exceeded my expectations. Yes, the room is small, but it's just at the right size. I mean, it's the size you'd get from a budget single room in Mowbray Court in the UK, any hotel in Tokyo, or any other places where property price is astronomical. Cleanliness of the room is just fine, I've seen far-far worse. At the time of my visit, my room doesn't have any black molds, perhaps they already cleaned it, which is good. I hope they clean it periodically since room with no window can easily attract black molds.They have warm water as well, you'll just have to pull it to the max and a little bit more to the left towards the hot indicator. Really enjoy my early morning shower.The staff at my check-in time is super nice and accommodating.The location is super perfect for my stay and is near to every single thing critical to my trip this time. There's a restaurant on the ground floor as well if you fancy it. Since I'm in a tight budget and the restaurant still hasn't open super early in the morning, I bought and ate my breakfast at the nearby 7-11.Anyway, this one is not what I like or what I don't like, but I just want to point out that the hotel is working with skeleton staff due to its category as a budget hotel, so you can sometimes find the front office staff who works very long hours asleep at the couch near his working station in the early morning (I usually went out for breakfast at around 5AM). I don't think it's fair to criticize them based on this as with other reviews I read.

It's Singapore so value wise it's SEA's bottom of the peck haha. Nothing they can do about, as I said, property price is astronomical. In the room where I stay, the bed is bolted to the wall, so every single thing that fell down to the side of the bed can be considered as being eaten alive by the bed. Lost my USB-C cable to that secret pit on the side of your bed, thankfully the staff is nice enough to lend me another to survive.Not exactly a minus point since SG is hot and humid, so I really appreciate how strong the AC is, but it seems like they employ centralized AC and the control inside your room isn't working? Tried changing it but somehow I don't feel any change in AC temperature. Once again, not a minus point, just want to point it out.

It was centrally located.

Upon arrival at 4:00pm, there was no one at the front desk and we had to wait a good 40 minutes until someone came. That person didn’t acknowledge us or apologize. Wasn’t friendly. The night staff however was very friendly and kind. We had no toilet paper in one room and the other room half less than 1/2 a roll. The space is very small and with suitcases you can hardly fit. Toilet is a few steps away from bed and no door. Bed was comfortable but small

Price was affordable after my genius discount. The location was convenient, more convenient to bus stop than the MRT.

We complained about the washer, but it wasn't fixed during our 3 nights stay. The receptionist doesn't reply to booking.com message and their what's app. I had to call from Malaysia. It was on the bar street, so it was noisy even after midnight, but if u r not a light sleeper, it'll be fine.

Location just near to restaurant, shopping center and 7mins away Marina Bay Sand using Taxi cab

Very bad experience about this hotel service, the room is molded, dirty with A/C issue and without any notice from Hotel receptionist

- Good location of the hotel- There was a washing machine and a fridge- There was an upper level inside the room with 1 bed (in addition to the double bed on the ground level), which I think is a creative way of separation

- There were not enough wardrobes, especially not for 3 persons, so we lived off from our suitcases- The A/C unit blown cold air directly to the person sleeping on the upper level bed, so we had to turn off A/C for the night- Some plates and cutlery would have been nice

I read many negative reviews but was actually positively surprised by the good value for money. I didn't expect a four-star hotel, the room was really clean and normal, quiet, and private, with friendly staff at the reception, normal shower and toilet, reliable Wi-Fi, but most importantly, a great location!

Nice location, tiny space very well-utilised in design but a little uncaring.

Though space was very well-managed, one chair and even a small table would have made it better. The other was the leaking hand-shower in the washroom ... because of which the small bathroom stayed wet and messy always and one had the hotel guys had put a towel to control the water soaking but still it remained messy. Worse was, everyday, I was told by Zam that he will get it done, but when I would come back in the evening and ask the person on the front desk, was it fixed, his answer would be "I dont think so". And the last one was that inspite of my spending a lot of time with Zam and other lady at the time of waiting for airport taxi, never once did they apologise or do anything to make up for the inconvenience.

Excellent location..staff were very friendly & helpful. Bed was very comfortable had a really good nite sleep. The hotel was very quiet & i treasure d silence.

When i checked into d room, floor was not clean, mouldy bath ceiling & the sink was dirty as well. Room was very tiny.

The room was not clean. There was hair from other guests in the shower room, on the bed; toilet paper when I arrived in the middle of the night; mould on the ceiling; paper wall falling apart.Needs a lot of improvement. The staff was very kind though…

Black mould is found everywhere. Not cleaned. Facilities are lacking.

Friendly staff helped me with checkin later than expected hours, provided me an umbrella to go out in the rain, provided clear directions to help. Me. Reach my destinations.Thy also. Kept my luggage safe while I was going around, long after the checkout

The bed was to short for me, when laying on the stomac. Otherwise great place!Very small room, but we only needed a bed. Not much privacy on the toilet.

What a super location and comfortable stay with very friendly staff

Horrible place. The first room they tried to put me in had such bad water leaks that a third of the floor was a puddle and water was dripping through the storage space. Not a new problem because the room was full of black mold and the wallpaper was falling off the walls. Staff seemed surprised when I asked to change. Second room was dry, but very dirty. Dirty floors, hair clogged drains, mold in all areas of the shower/toilet. The rooms are tiny. A bed space too small to walk around the bed. A shower/toilet small enough that they share space. A strange glass cupboard and a shelf. Many things do not work, bedside lamp etc. Shower is a minimal spray of water ranging from cold to mildly warm. How this gets a 3 star rating is a booking.com failure. 2 star would be extremely generous.

Very good location in a nice quite street. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

Really good location, good places near by and public transport very accessible. Always some one greeting. As a solo traveller the room was a good size, all you needed and very comfortable bed.

The room needs a bit of a clean / update: very bad mould on the ceiling and especially in the wardrobe.

Location is good, staff very helpful. The bed was amazing, best nights sleep for a long while.

The situation was the only good thing about this hotel.

The room was minute with shower and lav all in the same room. There was no chair as there was no room for one and the air-conditioning was not good.
