Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa

The private plunge pool had so many tiles coming off and a lot already missing. This place is not a 5 star hotel at all. I stayed at two rooms a regular room and a villa. Both rooms had walls and doors that clearly worn out and damaged.

It was central to all the activities r wished to undertake while on the island.

We had two rooms for our family of 4 and they put us initially on separate floors. When we complained this was changed but the room was not to the quality we expected. The shower head was held together with tape and the prices for drinks were extreme.

Very good environment, guest can have a very relax vocation. Over my expectation. Very reasonable price as well.

Breakfast was great so much choice of different cuisines and the location was perfect for all the things we planned on Sentosa.

The Hotel itself was clean but our shower had a lot of mould on the tiles which I did not expect in a Resort like this. There seemed to be a few things in our room that needed maintenance but we got a special deal on the price so I think maybe we got older rooms that were waiting for refurbishment.

MJ the breakfast host was delightful. She would welcome you in the mornings by your first name. I can't say enough good about MJ, she's inspiring.

The location is perfect for enjoying the island, with everything within walking distance and convenient, affordable free transportation nearby. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was spacious and comfortable.

There was nothing I disliked during my stay. Everything met my expectations, and I had a very pleasant experience overall.

Comfortable bed and spacious room. We love the peace and quiet. Location is walking distance to Universal Studio and Palawan Beach. Breakfast has a lot of varieties to choose from. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, we were happy with our stay.

The resort was indeed about 10% bigger compared to typical hotel rooms, and WOW there was a bathtub, i was shocked - in a good way to find out there was a bathtub. Overall amazing room amazing staff, keep it up team Amara!

The location whereby the actual resort was located is very far from the Sentosa Express Imbiah station, it was about a 15mins walk, and it was pouring that day so it wasnt very nice on that part. However the staff there were very helpful overall, this hotel is a MUST try!

It's a beautiful experience and beautiful and peaceful resort. We 2 couples love the stay and enjoyed ourselves so much...the staff are excellent and even the security. Even the restaurant food is so delicious and very friendly staff too. Will come again in future for a great peaceful staycation.

Great location in Sentosa island, very relaxing atmosphere, good breakfast.

Services were not of a five star hotel: we have paid for 3 persons but we were not provided with bed linens for the third person. Upon request we received additional bed linens but no set-up of the 3rd bed... We were not provided with any information about hotel facilities except where the breakfast area is and the shuttle schedule towards Vivo City. The bus shuttle is inconvenient because it doesn't stop at Vivo City as advertised by hotel but on the opposite side of the road, a significant distance to Vivo city especially if you have a large luggage.

Location

The hotel is hardly 5 stars as described and for the price point we are paying, it is totally not worth it. Fixtures are old in the room. Not even a coffee machine provided. Towels are old and stained, and it smells. No bellboy at all at the front door. We left our children’s jackets behind during check out and they did not even call us. Took me many attempts to try reach front desk and they promised to call back which they never did. We finally had to drive back to Sentosa.

Good facilities, good location, welcoming and helpful staff. Allowed us early check-in due to an early flight.

Room cleaning during our stay was not that great. Expected a bit better. Safe was not working so well.

Service from housekeeping and cleanliness at the Junior suite building was dismal. But reception/front-of-house made up for it as best as they could. We appreciate the efforts.

There was easy locations for transportation and the beach is just down a path from the resort. The customer service was excellent and very helpful with any questions we had.
